Well, Bobby did say that Sam wouldn't hear of salting and burning Dean's body because Dean would need a body when Sam found a way to bring him back. So chances are Sammy has kept Dean's clothes, just maybe stored it somewhere. Maybe in dad's old storage locker?
Just a thought.

| QUOTE (bjxmas @ Sep 20 2008, 07:26 PM) | | QUOTE (justannanow @ Sep 21 2008, 12:11 AM) | | The censors might have a problem with a naked Dean running amok but I sure as hell wouldn't. BRING IT!!!! But Dean was at Bobby's so obviously his clothes aren't there. I don't know if that was Sam's jacket but that was his overshirt. Did you see how long the sleeves are? |
But back in S1 Kripke promised us full-frontal nudity and he has yet to deliver! All I can say is Sam had better kept his leather jacket or there will be hell to pay! B.J. |
IT'S ONLY BEEN ONE EPISODE!! Take a cold shower and relax girl! :lol But um yeah, they really need to hurry up with the nekkidness. I can't wait!

I really enjoyed the first new episode of season 4. At first I thought that the whole episode storyline would have a huge twist at the end with Dean still being stuck in hell and imagining coming back to life and the whole episode plot but actually I was really pleased with the ending and the episode in general. Season four has really started strongly and has been set up to offer a fantastic storyline for the rest of the season. I'm counting down the days 'till Eoisode two.

Overall I loved this premier. It ranks right up there with IMTOD as one of the best premiers (and really best episodes, in general) ever. I can't praise Krikpe, J3, and Kim Manners, enough; not to mention major props to Traci Dinwiddle and Misha Collins. A part of me wishes that I hadn't been so spoiled for the premier, because it had so many great emotional moments in it and I can only wonder if all those moments would have just been that much more poignant if I hadn't been so spoiled. (I guess I'll find out the difference when I see next week's, as next to no spoilers have come out for that one.)
The open montage to AC/DC's "Shook Me All Night Long" was awesome, and then the segway into flashes of Dean in Hell and then waking up in a coffin was awesome. LOVED the editing of the Hell scenes and LOVED the shots of Jensen's eyes. This man is just so talented; with just a couple of glances you can feel his the dread that he's feeling. And Dean's horse voice when he first woke up - brilliant. Throughout the episode Dean was in fine form and I loved every moment of it. I must say tha I especially LOVED the diner scene, where Dean completely called the possessed wairess on her bluff. And my goodness, the look on Sam's face when she treatened Dean, after seeing the end of that episode, I think that if it wasn't for Dean's signal, Sam would have forgotten that he was trying to hide his being able to use his powers from Dean and forced that demon out of the waitress' body right then and there for threatening Dean.
Which brings me to Sam. Sam, Sam, Sam...glad to see you still put saving people first, but remember that whole speech about Ruby yanking your chain down that road paved with good intentions. IMO, right now Sam thinks that as long as he goes slowly, he'll be able to pull back when he feels things are getting out of control, but unfortunately I think that that step that's going to end up getting him in too deep, is going to end up being a VERY steep drop. I have to say, though, great job Jared at selling this new harder Sam.
And can't forget about Bobby. Wonderful Bobby, splashing holy water all over Dean...no Bobby, can't be too careful. I thank Krikpe and Co. every time I see Jim Beaver's name, and am even more grateful when he makes it through yet another episode.
As for the new characters, LOVED Pamela and hope to see her again, and love, love, LOVE Castiel. It took me reading everyone's opinions on him and watching the episode again to love him, but once I saw the brilliance of the character; someone who instead of being snarky and hardlined, like I first envisioned, was both powerful yet childlike I realized how great Misha Collins was. I especially loved the look on his face when Dean "thanked" him for raising him from Hell - he almost looked like he was saying "Your welcome" and then how quickly his expression changed when he subsequently was stabbed. And the look on his face as he wondered at Dean's skeptiscim...I can't wait to see these two interact more!
My only negative is GC's performance. I liked her in the hotel at the beginning (heck, I almost felt sorry for her, she looked SO disappointed when Sam got her name wrong), but as Ruby she just seemed to be overacting. Her scared came off as completely snivelling and her attemps to be nice came off as overly (and unrealistically) accomodating. Maybe she just needs time to settle in...
Overall, I LOVE how the story of SN has grown, while at its core it's still Sam and Dean's story and I can't wait for the story to continue next week!

Oh no you don't, bjxmas - it's out of your mouth and onto the forums and now Krikpe must figure out a way to give us a scene of Dean running around naked!...

I thought that this was a great episode. I'm still fairly new in the Supernatural universe, and so I only recently watched this episode for the first time. but I thought it was amazing. The cinematography was great, as was the acting. Dean coming back was great. I loved seeing the snippets of Hell, as well as the nuclear bomb type reaction of where Dean's grave was. The reunion I thought was pretty good, and I loved Castiel. What an interesting character.

I saw it 2 days ago and I simply can't get it off my mind! MEMORABLE! (does this word exists, lol?) Jensen is wonderful: I couldn't do anything that keep my breath waiting for the "reunion" with Sam. Funny and funny moments: 1) the scene where Bobby throws holy water on Dean's face: his expression when Bobby does is wonderful! (ps: I didn't realise that Bobby had the same name of the producer Robert Singer ) 2) the new "wild" version of Sam, when we see him in that room with the girl... And when the brothers hug: I wanted that moment last forever! so....melting!! 3) when Dean discovers the i-pod jack on his Impala: I laughed when he threw it away Doubt/critics: 1) why Sam doesn't tell Dean about his power? 2) did you notice then, when Dean cut his arm to prove Bobby he is real, in the next scene there isn't sign of that cut? 3) I expected a more..."spectacular" return of Dean, I mean, I thought we would have seen something about the hell where he stayed for 4 months 4) I'm not sure I agree with the choice to introduce Angel's stuff on SN; don't get me wrong, I like the story but I think I'm a little like Dean about this matter. Actually, I have something in common with Dean, including the fair of flying. But, as I said, I love this ep, one of the best ever seen
