Death Never Felt So Cold, Sam's dream from the past comes back.

Okay, so this is basically about a dream that Sam had when he was younger. It was really the first premonition he ever had. However, it came years before anything was going to happen. Don't worry, this isn't based when they brothers were younger, but the prologue just has to be there. So, um, hope you guys enjoy, and comments are love.

PROLOGUE

A flash.

Chaos and screaming. The young man realized that it was his own screams. He was on the cold and dirty floor. Something was wrong. He could feel cold sweat on his tired and aching body. Fear was in the pit of his heart. The stench of the room filled his nostrils, but he barely noticed. His eyes were focused on the scene in front of him.

A large creature stood facing the other way. The only thing Sam Winchester could see was the water dripping off it’s gray skin, and torn clothes. It stood still for a second before moving over to the other person in the room. Sam recognized the person as his one and only brother. But, there was something different about him. He seemed older, yet still young.

And then it happened. The creature grabbed Dean and threw him against the wall. Sam felt himself shouting his brother’s name. He tried to get up and help him, but he couldn’t move. His body protested against it so heavily that even trying to get up made his head spin from the agony. All he could do was helplessly watch his brother being tossed around like a rag doll.

He heard a crack and knew something had broken in Dean’s body as he hit the ground once again. Tears were streaming from the younger’s’ eyes as he prayed that Dean would be alright. Blood dripped from the broken Winchester’s mouth as the creature came back for more. For a split second, it looked at Sam and the eye contact sent a shiver down his spine. The face was engraved in him forever.

Turning back to Dean, the creature went to finish its work.

Struggling against himself, Sam fought to get to the gun that was laying right beside him. He’d never felt more pain in his life. It seemed that all of his bones were screaming in agony. But he didn’t care; he had to save his brother. He couldn’t let him die. He just couldn’t let it happen.

But it seemed fate had a different outcome in mind. Before he could get to the gun, the creature had grabbed the limp Dean and threw him against the wall yet again. Sam saw his head collide rather hard with it, and the ground as he landed on it yet again. His searching eyes found Sam’s. Sam could see he was trying to say something, but it didn’t come out. The green eyes dimmed and became lifeless as they continued to stare at Sam.

Nausea rose up so quickly in him, that the man couldn’t stop it. “DEAN.” He roared as the room and his brother’s face faded in an instant.

Another flash.

Fourteen-year-old Sam Winchester shot up in his bed. Eyes looking around wildly, he realized that he was back in his and Dean’s room in the old apartment they were currently renting. Turning his head to the side, he saw his eighteen-year-old brother sound asleep, a cocky smile rested on his face. Who knew what he was dreaming about. It probably contained at least one hot girl.

Shaking his head, Sam flopped back on his pillows. That ream had been way too realistic for him. He remembered the excruciating pain, and the face of that horrible creature. But mostly he remembered that look in his brother’s eyes as he died. He never wanted to see that look again.

Little did he know, that nine years later, he’d see it all again.

This is really, really, REALLY good and I can't wait to see where this goes when the brothers are older. Poor Sam and his dreams of pain, suffering, and death!!

Oh wow, this is really good. You have me hooked onto this little ol' fic here. Sam keeps dreaming of Deans death. I wonder what creature it is that does that.
