Evil Returns To Sunnydale, A Buffy The Vampire Wolf Game

I am the game mod and will post important information in blue text, so that it is easy to pick out. Players, please do not use blue text in this thread (if you have blue text in your signature, that's fine).

You may contact me via PM at any point in the game and I will respond as soon as possible. If you post something in the thread directly meant for me, please post it in orange text, so that it, too, is easy to pick out.

Roles (all were assigned randomly)

The Humans

There are 9 humans, 4 of which are power roles, they win after they have eliminated all the vampires.

Buffy: She’s allowed one kill at night. She only has three stakes so she must choose carefully. If she’s not comfortable making a kill she can opt out. If she chooses not to kill she still needs to PM the game mod letting them know.

Angel: He’s the protector. He protects one person per night and the protection carries into the next day phase. He can only protect a person once during the game.

Giles: He tracks one person per night and sees who they visit. However, he won’t be able to tell which side they are on.

Willow: Through the use of magic she has the ability to scry out whether a person is human or vampire but won’t be able to tell which role they are. Once she has determined that a person is human she can choose to PM them. No other human can PM unless contacted by Willow first and then they can only PM Willow. She can act as a liaison for the humans; but, humans beware, for an added twist Drusilla can PM you and pretend to be Willow. It’s up to you to decide how much info you choose to give out, if any. (Didn’t think I’d make it that easy on you did you?)

The Vampire’s

There are four. They win after they have eliminated all the humans. Unlike the humans they will start out the game knowing who each other are and are able to PM each other during the day and night phase.

The Master: He sends the Anointed One out to kill at night. He gives his order during the day phase, thru PM . Since he doesn’t do anything at night if tracked he appears human to Giles. But will come up anti, if checked by Willow.

Spike: Like Buffy he is allowed one kill at night. Unlike Buffy he only has two kills so he has to choose wisely. If he’s not comfortable with a kill he can opt out. If he chooses not to kill he still has to PM the game mod letting them know.

Drusilla: She can follow one person per night and can find out if they visited anyone but not their role. This helps her narrow down who the possible power roles are. She can also PM humans and pretend to be Willow, however she needs to be careful as this could lead to her being found out.

The Anointed One: Carries out the night kill as requested by The Master.

Day Phase One ends Monday, May 16th, at 9:00pm EST. At least 7 people need to place a vote. If at least 7 votes are not placed the kill will be done randomly. In the event of a tie, the kill will be done randomly, between the players who are tied.


Buffy had thought that she had rid Sunnydale of The Master and The Anointed One, as well as Spike and Drusilla; however, something has brought them back and they are bent on getting revenge. Buffy joined by Angel, Giles, Willow and a small group of humans, who know the truth about what’s out there, fight to once again destroy the evil that has returned to Sunnydale. Will their valiant efforts be enough or will the vampires get their revenge and kill Buffy , along with all who help her?

just want to wish everyone luck and hope we don't get Keyser Sozed like last time. Surprisingly for the first day phase (and the first post), I have no suspicions at all

maybe because I AM human. If that's all it takes to get voted off this looks like yet another game where the antis are gonna win *shakes head*

Well first day phase votes are always kind of random, but you seem awfully defensive.

^^ Lots of people post things like this on the first day. I don't usually thing much of it.

I think admitting you're a human on your first post isn't the smartest thing to do. In a previous game, someone did that too saying they were a townie when they were actually anti. Admitting it too quickly is always suspicious because no one has suspected you yet. But by admitting that, you could have pointed it out to Willow who could check to see if you're human or not and pm you if you are. You could also have put a target on your back by the antis unless that's what you wanted to happen.
