“Control, this if flight 666 requesting an alternate route to Ontario, looks like some very nasty weather ahead,” said the pilot of a N-262 Fregate, however nothing came over but static,
“Control?” repeated the pilot, “This is Flight 666 calling anyone who can hear me, please come in.”
Still static. The pilot looked over and saw the anxious look on his co-pilots face.
“Hey, I’m sure everything’s okay, just static from the storm,” the pilot tried to reassure is colleague, “We’ll just turn around and see if that clears things up.” He continued trying to keep an upbeat positive voice.
Suddenly the plane was hit by a stray lightning bolt. The plane shook and rattled, the lights flickered on and off, but the plane remained somewhat normal. The pilots checked to make sure all the electrical was working, which it all appeared to be. Then the pilot picked up the mike to tell all the passengers to remain in their seats with their seat belts tightly fastened. The copilot flicked the seatbelt light on and continued to assess the damage.
“Appears to be nothing wrong, sir,” the copilot reported, “All seems to be normal.”
“Okay, well let’s not push our luck much more should we, let’s turn this plane around and get out of here.”
The pilot pulled hard on the wheel to turn the plane around, but nothing happened. He pulled harder, but the wheel seemed to be stuck. He quickly checked to make sure the autopilot was turned off and that there couldn’t be something wrong with the computer from that lightning bolt. He found nothing.
“Hmm, that’s weird,” he said more to himself than to anyone in particular.
“What, sir?” asked his copilot, making no attempt no to hide the anxiety in his voice.
“My wheel seems to be stuck. Try yours,” the pilot suggested.
The copilot of the fregate took his wheel and tried to pull the plane away from the storm it was heading in to. No such luck. The plane didn’t move, and was still heading head strong into the fierce storm.
“Well…this is bizarre,” said the pilot flatly.
“What should we do, sir?” asked the copilot in a shaky voice.
“Guess we have no choice put to try and brave the storm.”
“Don’t try to deny it,” screamed Annielicious, “We know you’re a demon, Sammy’s_luver!!”
A few of the other townspeople of Evansville made murmurs of agreement, however many remained quite on this day. It was had for many to overcome the fact that they had lost three of their own last night…one of which they, as group, had killed. They couldn’t risk doing that again…if they kept making such amateur mistakes the demons would surely win and kill everyone in this town. Add to the fact that the demons had managed to kill the tracker Dean and the angel who possessed Blueisheyes. What did they have going in their favor? Loosing all of their favorite sources of information, the people of Evansville were left with only their logic to guide them.
However, Annielicious seemed certain beyond all reasonable doubt that Sammy’s_luver was a demon, and she kept pushing this agenda very heavily on the other townspeople. However, she was not along in believing that Sammy’s_luver was a demon. Many of the other townspeople believed the same thing, so it didn’t take long to get the required number of votes to kill her.
Unlike the people in past, Sammy’s_luver offered little resistance when two of the townspeople took her by the arm and lead her to the gallows. They wrapped the noose around her neck without so much as a scream or any sign of resistance. She just wore a wicked smile upon her face.
“Do you have any last words?”
After a few minutes of flying straight into the storm, Flight 666 seemed to be dead in the middle of it. The high winds and rain made it impossible for the pilots to maneuver the plane in any form, and even if the could they wouldn’t be able to see where they were going. The occasional lightning bolt struck off away from the plane showing brief glimpses of where they were, but of course there was nothing to be seen except for the storm clouds and the rain.
Both the pilot and his copilot were breathing extremely hard with anxiety. They knew there was nothing they could do. Their wheels were jammed and even if they weren’t, it was far too late to do anything. The only thing they could do now was pray that they and their passengers would make it through this storm alive.
“Hey, did you see that?” shouted the copilot breaking what seemed to be hours of silence except for the howling wind.
“See what?” asked the pilot trying to keep his lunch down.
“I don’t know. Just saw something white flying in the storm. Looked like a duck,” responded the copilot with a voice of disbelief.
The pilot just merely looked over at his copilot with one eyebrow raised, “A duck?”
“Uh…yeah. Guess that sounds stupid doesn’t it.”
“You think?”
Then another flash of lighting illuminated the sky, and sure enough the pilot saw it that time. There it was, a brilliant white duck flying in this incredible storm…alone.
“What the…” began the pilot
“See told you!!” screamed the copilot.
“I can’t believe what I’m seeing. It must be some kind of…of…optical illusion or something. Or a hallucination,” rambled the pilot.
“Sure…”
With another flash, the pilot saw that the duck was heading straight for them, but surely it would fly out of the way. How in the world could it be flying in this weather in the first place?
“This is just crazy!” thought the pilot.
But sure enough, that duck kept on flying straight for them. Even in those intense winds, it maintained what seemed to be a straight course and it was heading right for them. There was nothing the pilots could do, so they just watched, almost open mouthed, as the duck flew straight pass their cockpit and right into their right engine. The engine caught on fire and was quickly ablaze.
However, the good news was that the plane finally did something other than fly in a straight line into the storm; the bad news was that now it was heading in a straight line for the ground. The pilot pulled hard on the wheel again to try and pull the plane up, but again it didn’t budge. For whatever reason, it seemed that they were destined to die on this flight. Realizing this inevitable even, the pilot, surprisingly calm, reached up and took the mike.
“Attention ladies and gentlemen, please prepare for an emergency evacuation.”
Sammy’s_luver said nothing. She just stood there with the noose around her neck, resolute and determined.
“So let it be,” said the executioner and gave the signal.
However, as the man pulled on the lever to make the floor drop out, it didn’t budge. He pulled with all his strength and the lever broke off.
“What is going on?” shouted one of the townspeople.
“It just won’t move.”
“It’s Sammy’s_luver!!” screamed Annielicious over the crowd, “She is a demon!!”
Everyone turned to look at Sammy’s_luver still tied up at the gallows. Her eyes had become as pure black as the night. Empty and soulless.
“It’s not me you fools!” she screamed, “Quick, let me go! Let me go!!”
Then a terrible gust of wind swept through the town, much like it had when the tried to hang Saiya.
“What is going on?” someone screamed over the howling wind.
“I don’t know, but I think the safest place is in our homes,” replied someone else.
“What about the demon?”
“Leave her! She seems a little too anxious to get out of here, seems like whatever’s coming is coming for her.”
No one had time to argue with that comment, for the next thing they knew a massive thunderstorm was building up over their heads from seemingly nowhere. Then a lightning bolt struck the garden just outside the court house.
“To the court house everyone!” screamed someone over the fierce wind and now poring rain.
Again, no one had any arguments, and the whole town ran into the court house, save for three individuals who no one really took notice or care. One was Sammy’s_luver, tied up on the gallows still trying to set herself free, another was a person clad all in black standing close to the gallows, and the third was Annielicious. The person in black climbed up onto the gallows to try and help Sammy’s_luver free.
“Stop right there!” screamed Annielicious, who ran forward and up onto the stage to stop them.
“Well, well, well, look who we have here Sammy, what if it isn’t Missouri herself,” chide the figure in black in a cold tone.
Annielicious stopped in surprise, not because the demon in front of her knew her actual identity, but because of what she felt around them.
“I knew you had to be a demon,” she said clenching her teeth in anger, “I always had a bad feeling about you. Now you will soon join your friend here in Hell once I tell the townspeople what you really are.”
“Oh my,” the demon said in a mock tone of horror, “whatever will I do? However, may I ask you one question? What makes you so certain that you’re going to live to tell them?”
And with a thunderous laugh, the demon raised its arm blasting Missouri back off the gallows.
“How pathetic you humans are,” laughed the demon, “Think you know everything, don’t you? Well here is my sweet revenge, for it is you who is responsible for the soon-to-be death of my partner.”
Then the demon reached out with its hand and closed its eyes in concentration. A pain of what felt like a thousand needles shot through Annielicious’ body. She screamed out in pain, thinking that the people in the town hall might hear her, but she could barely hear herself through the wind.
The storm had picked up speed and was coming in faster than ever before. Lightning was flashing all around them. Rain was turning the dirt into mud beneath Missouri’s back. However, the cold damp of the rain did nothing to alleviate the burning she was feeling as what felt like knives were being stabbed all through her body.
Then she saw it. Coming out of the storm like a burning meteor, Missouri saw the impossible. A burning plane was falling from the sky at an alarming rate, and it was heading right for this very spot. The shock was so much for her, that for the briefest of moments, she forgot she was being tortured.
The demon torturing Missouri took notice of her brief moment of shock, and followed her gaze to see the burning plane falling out of the heaven.
“Impossible,” the demon whispered.
Then it looked up at his colleagues face on last time, she nodded signaling the go ahead to run, there was nothing to do. So the demon took the last few seconds it had, and with its hand made a crushing motion, making a fist. The result was almost immediate. Missouri started to cough and choke like she couldn’t breathe, and then she was motionless.
Taking no time to celebrate the victory in the slightest, the demon took off into the shadows and ran as far away from the scene as possible. The demon knew that it could wait out the night, and then it would sneak back in so that no one would notice. However, Sammy’s_luver wasn’t as lucky as her fellow demon. She couldn’t escape! That brat of a Winchester must have put a devil’s trap under the gallows because she couldn’t use any of her powers or incredible strength to break the rope. Looking up she saw the burning plan heading down towards her. She knew from the moment that the storm had started up that this was payback from Heaven. This was payback for killing one of their angels.
“They sure do like their dramatics,” she thought as she watched the plane continue to hurtle towards her.
Then the plane was so close upon her that even over the wind, rain, and thunder she could hear the engines roar. It was almost completely engulfed in flames now. Sammy’s_luver was surprised that it was still flying, however she figured it was probably under the control of a celestial power now anyway, even if it was just the flames themselves, it would still manage to come and kill her.
The townspeople in the hall finally heard the sounds of the plane for the first time as it flew overhead. Everyone ran to the window to watch what was happening. They were all witness to the mighty power of Heaven as the flaming plane crashed into the gallows. The plane’s nose was the first to make contact, and many of the onlookers could swear that the nose of that plane touched nose-to-nose with Sammy’s_luver. However, such a little thing hardly mattered considering the tons of burning metal that crashed into the gallows and continued to crash down Main Street, leaving a burning path of destruction in its wake.
The gallows and Sammy’s_luver were destroyed almost immediately. The few homes that the plane went through before what was left of it came to a stop were set on fire, but the rain was quickly dealing with them.
The townspeople in the town hall were silent. There were neither words nor actions that could express their emotions. Many incredible things had happen over the course of the past several days, but this was so far beyond them all. They all just sat there, staring out the windows of the town hall. They looked at the site as it unfolded. Eventually, some began to give into to sleep, and they fell asleep there in the town hall, afraid to return to their homes…alone.
So passed Sammy's_luver, who was a demon.
Day Phase 6 Begins
“Hello and welcome to Channel 4 News at 6 am,” sounded the morning anchorman, “Today’s top story is a miraculous tale of the survivors of a…strange plane crash to say the least. We have Tom reporting the amazing story of these 28 survivors, out in the woods just east of Orleans. Tom….”
The townspeople of Evansville awoke in the morning, all still camped out in the town hall where they had fallen asleep the night previous. Some people rushed over to the windows to see what had happened over the night, and were surprised to see that very little had changed sense they had fallen asleep. The plane wreckage remained where it had finally stopped, and the houses it had gone through still remained demolished. The gallows were completely obliterated, and so was Sammy’s_luver along with them, thank god.
“Who’s that?” shouted one of the people pointing to something out the window.
At first no one could see anything but the mud and destruction from the crash, but then they finally saw it. There, buried in the mud, was unmistakably a body.
“It’s a body! Let’s go help,” shouted someone and the whole group ran out to go see what aid, if any, they could give to the poor person who had been caught up in the disaster.
As they reached the body, someone bent down and turned it over out of the mud.
“It’s Annielicious,” gasped someone from the group.
“The demons must have gotten her last night,” added someone else.
“Last night or before the crash even happened?” asked someone else.
To which, no one had an answer. They all just stood there, with nothing to say, all trapped in their own thoughts.
“Well let’s at least bury her,” someone finally said, “and then let’s continue with the business at hand. We got one more of those bloody demons! One more is all that’s left.”
So passed Annielicious, was was Missouri.
