I've PMed Night about playing, but I'm pretty sure she won't be around for the rest of our game due to her getting married and going on her honeymoon. I'll give her through tomorrow to respond, but then I'll eliminate her if the game hasn't moved on to the next phase by then.

okay people i just wanted to let you know why i didnt get to vote is becuase i work for like half the day and some of the day phases were ended in a couple hours.Im sry that i didnt vote but is was becasue of work

The town was awfully quiet the following day. Maybe they were silent because of the terrifying and amazing spectacle they saw during the night? Or maybe it was that the few remaining townspeople were taking their time now that it was so close to the end, thinking through their decisions carefully?

Whatever the cause for their silence, the day was passing quickly and night was close to coming. Would they leave the fate of their town to random destiny or would they make their own destiny?

I'll close this thread until I can write up stuff (it'll be short...I promise).

Even though the town had reached a majority, and was now in agreement to kill Jawkill, the question came to mind, what should they kill Jawkill with? The gallows were destroyed by the plane crash yesterday, and no one else had any weapons in their neighborhood. Dean had had a knife with him, and probably some other weapons, but none of the townspeople could find neither the knife nor any weapons when they searched his room and car. What was left to them?

The best idea someone came up with was to hit Jawkill over the head with a piece of wood from one of the demolished houses. However, what if Jawkill turned out to be a demon? What in the world would they do then? Right now Jawkill was acting human enough, but if he was a demon, then that could be to try and maintain cover for as long as possible and keep killing them off one-by-one…watching them squirm in the process.. If they tried to kill him, and he was a demon, then he would no longer have any reason to remain hidden and could kill them all.

However, what option did they really have? Attempt to kill Jawkill now, or just let him pick them off one-by-one each night, slowly and painfully no doubt. Given those conditions, it would be better to just try and kill Jawkill with the piece of wood, and if he was a demon, then it would be better to die quickly and all together than slowly one at a time.

Saiya volunteered to kill Jawkill, but he decided not to use a piece of the demolished buildings, but rather a piece of the plane, seemed more appropriate he thought. So he set to work trying to find a sharp piece of the plane in the rubble. Eventually, he found a piece that looked sharp enough to inflict deadly damage to Jawkill if it was used properly. Saiya approached Jawkill without any hesitation or trepidation at all, he seemed extremely calm for what he was about to do, but he had no doubts that Jawkill was the last demon. And without the slightest bit of a hesitant pause, he swung the make-shift knife right into Jawkill’s heart.

For a moment, everyone else in the town thought that they had made a huge mistake because Jawkill acted as if he were human and was about ready to fall over dead, however that was only for a moment. Jawkill was suddenly as still as a stone, but then soon started to laugh. When he looked back up, his eyes were the same deep never ending blackness that Sammy’s_luver’s eyes had turned when they tried to hang her yesterday.

However, Jawkill’s laughter was short lived for after only a few moments he started to cough and sputter like he had actually been stabbed in the heart. Eventually, his hacking cough brought him to his knees where he started to cough up blood. With one final cough, Jawkill fell to the ground and rolled over on his back, dead. It was only when he fell to the ground that everyone saw that the piece of the plane Saiya had stabbed him with was glowing yellow, almost as if it was on fire. The flame seemed to grow from the metal and spread into Jawkill’s body, leaving nothing in the end but a pile of dust.

“Does that mean it’s over?” asked Stokes

“I guess so,” replied Saiya.

“What was that all about?” asked Soccerlaker, referring to what had just happened to Jawkill.

“I don’t know,” responded Saiya, “and we’ll probably never know.”

“The important thing is that this whole nightmare is behind us,” said Stokes.

“Indeed,” replied the remaining townspeople of Evansville.


“This is Channel 4 News, back again with more reports of the amazing survival story of a horrible plane crash out near Evansville. Tom, what all’s happened so far?”

“Well this certainly is an amazing tale, Steve. The 28 survivors of Flight 666 heading for Ontario, all tell amazing stories about how the pilot and copilot saved all their lives after one of the engines caught fire during the nasty storm last night. The plane in question was an N-262 Fregate, a private plane sponsored by Bad Wolf Inc.”

The game is over, and the Town emerges victorious! Congratulations to the townies!!

Thanks to everyone who played in this game of Humans vs Demons!! It was a lot of fun, and I hope that you guys had a great time, too! This thread is now open for anyone who participated in the game to come in and chat if they would like. I’ll also open it up to members from the other game, if they so wish to come in and join the conversation.

I’ll be leaving this thread open for the rest of the week, and most of the weekend. I plan to close it up and lock it up for good Sunday evening. Also, I’ve updated the post with everyone’s names so that each member’s role is next to them.

Congrats to the town again for winning!! Also, well done to the demons for their excellent effort and for hiding so well!

there is one question I would like to know though. back in day 1, Saiya posted proof that he was a townie and he didn't get killed by the demons, then night 3,4 and 5 roll around and all three roles die....I would like to know how the demons couldn't catch Saiya's open invitation but caught ours when we weren't being specific about our roles. It wouldn't have been suspicious if they didn't die in a row..but they did. Can someone explain that to me because I don't believe it was just plain luck

I think that we were just so obvious. Saiya had said that he had contact with the Missouri and Dean, so it probably meant that whoever it was would be close to him. Dean (you) had told us that you were suspicious of Sammysgirl before he had said anything and killed him. I think looking over it now. It was pretty obvious because of how you suddenly suspected her and then Dean does to. Then we me getting killed you could tell I wasn't one of the people who voted for Saiya and Cast probably wouldn't save someone he voted for. Then Annie just almost plainly said she was Missouri by how she went after the other Sammy.
