Becca, can you please post the link you're trying to use? Just copy and paste the link into your next post so that I can see what kind of imagehosting site you're using and what kind of code you're using.

I'm just using the IMG code at Photobucket, if this helps at all...I had no clue what do do as other sites I had been on just allowed the good ol "copy and paste", so I am pretty green with it, but even for a computer illiterate like myself, the directions were pretty self explanatory! laugh.gif
I will try to post a link, but embarassing as this is..I gotta just tell you, I really have no clue how to do that! Sorry if I just totally made you feel like this right now: ohgeez-1.gif

This forum does allow simple cut and paste. It won't show an image but it will give an active link that can be clicked on to be seen.

If you are copying the img code at photo bucket and then using the img button here, then there are too many codes for the forum to process. Also, clicking the img button adds an "http://" to your picture's link that it already has. You would need to delete the http:// and anything else in the box before pasting in the direct link. According to Cinca's tutorial image, it looks like direct link is the 2nd option for you to copy at photobucket.

If you are copying the img code at photobucket, I believe just pasting the link into the forum will have coding necessary to make the image show, unless it is too large. Then you might try copying the thumbnail code and pasting it into forum. Just paste it into the same place where you type text. Don't use the forum img button with these two options.

I hope this helps! wub.gif

If you need me to post it for ya, I can. The only pic I can view is that one I did for you at mybanner.com. I can't view any others though.

Hey Angel..thanks again for offering your assistance to me! smile.gif
I have no clue what the heck I am doing wrong, but I just tried with 10 seperate pics using all the different advice given by all of these wonderful people, including yourself. I know I am a bit green with this, but the directions are fairly self explanatory. That being said, each and every pic garnered the same results...the "paste" symbol in the IMG is faded out. mixedsmiley0302ok.gif
I'm 27 years old! You would think I could figure this out!!!! angry.gif

Angel, ya know what I was thinking? I might try and figure out the whole "banner scenario"...I never really gave it my all..I would love to figure it out! Admittedly, I have an embarassing abundance of Jared pics...hmmm...I wonder... sherlock.gif a bit of investigating seems needed... laugh.gif

I never was good at banner making. Plus I didn't have the patience. Though I have the patience for writing. Guess some people have their strengths and weaknesses. It's funny. My mom and brother are amazing drawers/artist as well as my grandma but me, I can't draw worth crap, only spur of the moments when I draw something really good but I can write stories as they can't. I'm like the odd one out. I am definitely the strange one in the family. lol.

But I started making banners on mybannermaker.com, which only allowed one picture at a time. Then I got photoshop and it took me forever how to work the thing. Again, I was still posting them on mybannermaker.com but I could at least have more then one picture in the banner. I think three months later I gave up on Photoshop and just do the one picture on mybannermaker.com.

Have you written any fan fics on here? I would love to read em if you have! I have all of these thoughts in my head but I can never comprise them into a straight story, so I admire that in you!
I haven't gotten into the whole banner thing, perhaps tomorrow!
The whole photo thing was just a way to reciprocate with Satory, and it would have been nice to share my pics of Jared and the other guys..I do love them, as well...just a bit obsessed with JP...but...if it is meant to work out with the pics, then I guess it will all fall into place!
I tend to be a bit more visual, so I guess this is why it frustrates me!
