Wow! Look where we've come! I just started this whole series as a one-off with "Hell Hath No Fury" and look where it's gone! A whole season! Well, bless my bones!

Well, here it is, the titanic Season Finale, "Thrones From The Wall". Here it goes...

3.16 - "No Rest For the Wicked"
DEAN, in Hell.

DEAN:
Sam!

4.3 - "Foot Against Stone"
MISSOURI tries to divine what brought DEAN back from Hell. NATHANIEL enters.

NATHANIEL: (V.O)
You have a purpose that was not fulfilled before your death...

DEAN: (V.O)
What is that?

3.12 - "Jus in Belo"
LILITH destroys the police station.

NATHANIEL: (V.O)
To defeat Lilith, and stop the apocalypse...

4.1 - "Hell Hath No Fury"
RUBY is convince SAM to use his powers.

RUBY: (CON'T.)
You can't help Dean by doing what you're doing...you can't even avenge him. Sam...(she kneels down in front of him) I can help you...and we can kill Lilith, together...

SAM considers this.

RUBY: (CON'T.)
What do you say?

There is a long pause as SAM considers this. And, finally, he comes to an answer.

SAM:
I will...I'll do it.

4.4 - "Gimme Back My Bullets"
SAM and DEAN talk in the Impala.

SAM: (CON'T.)
What happened down there?

DEAN:
(without hesitation) I don't remember.

SAM:
Come on, really.

4.19 - "Gathering of the Storm"
DEAN, getting tortured by PAZUZU.

DEAN: (V.O)
I don't. Nathaniel wouldn't give me those memories back.

Stock footage of the boys on the road, then...several shots of SAM, using his demon powers...

4.20 - "Am I Evil?"
SAM speaks to RUBY.

SAM:
I'm angry all the time, Ruby...I hate everything...sometimes...and I think...(a beat, he sighs) Sometimes I think I'm evil...

4.19 - "Gathering of the Storm"
PAZUZU tells DEAN "the plan".

PAZUZU:
Well, it all starts with a weapon...Lucifer's greatest weapon...

DEAN:
(a beat) I don't understand.

PAZUZU:
The Anti-Christ, Dean...

Cut to -
Another shot.

PAZUZU:
And then, there's the second step...when four horses ride from the Pit and lay waste to the Earth...

Cut to -
Another shot.

PAZUZU:
But then, there was the final step...the one trendsetter...

DEAN:
Oh, do tell...

PAZUZU:
Heaven bleeds...

4.20 - "Am I Evil?"
SAM facing down LILITH.

Cut to -
SAM, jumping down to the cave floor.

Cut to -
RUBY, taking the stairs down at top speed.

Cut to -
SAM, raising his hand to do the exorcism. He focuses.

Cut to -
LILITH, who just smiles.

Cut to -
SAM, who is clearly trying harder. However, something seems to be going wrong.

Suddenly, LILITH steps out of the basin as the glyphs around it and the glyphs on the walls nearby begin to light up.

RUBY:
Sam! Stop!

SAM:
I can't!

He is clearly trying to lower his arm, but he cannot seem to do so. A foul wind kicks up in the place, blowing through the cavern at what could be gale force.

Suddenly, SAM jolts up, screaming. His eyes have turned demon black. He is screaming as though he is in immense pain. We hear his heartbeat going at impossibly sickening speed. He is screaming and yelling as black blood starts to drip, then gushes out of his eyes, which still remain demon black.

Cut to -
RUBY, pinned to a wall as LILITH talks to her.

RUBY:
What are you planning? What are you doing to him?

Cut to -
SAM, who has still been screaming all this time. Blood still rushes from him and lands on the floor, snaking it's way into the basin. The water is now blood red.

Cut to -
LILITH.

LILITH:
I wanted a new baby...I just needed the right stuff from Sam to make it happen...

RUBY:
You're nuts!

LILITH:
Those symbols are Enochian, sweetie...the language of the angels...and guess what? I get to be a mother, and destroy Heaven with its own weapon...

LILITH:
Arise...my child...arise...

The camera pans down to the pool. Something is forming out of the water and blood mixture...something that looks to be a human body.

Cut to -
SAM, who we will refer to as SAMUEL, cocks his head curiously at LILITH.

He reaches forward and grabs LILITH's head. She screams in protest and we see the skin of her host shriveling up, then we see the body fall onto the floor, now a skeleton except for the eyes. The demon white rushes out of them, revealing the true irises, before the eyes literally crumble into dust.

SAMUEL: (coldly, his eyes unchanged)
Thank you, Mother...

4.21 - "Cowboys From Hell"
We see NATHANIEL revive SAM.

Cut to -
Later, at BOBBY's, we see the symbol that DEAN and NATHANIEL are looking at. It resembles a hand with a brilliant flame in its palm. The symbol is painted in blood.

DEAN:
What the hell is that?

NATHANIEL:
The Order of the Blinding Light...

DEAN:
Pretty exclusive guest list, I guess?

NATHANIEL:
They are the six most powerful demons...the original six that Lucifer created when he fell from Heaven...

We get stock footage of AZAZEL, LILITH, and PAZUZU as he says their names.

NATHANIEL: (V.O)
Lilith, Pazuzu, Azazel...they were just three...

BOBBY:
Are you telling me that the three worst demons ever are gonna bring the Devil back?

Cut to -
BOBBY, possessed by CERBERUS.

CERBERUS:
The name's Cerberus, kid. Don't forget it...

Cut to -
ANAMELECH, possessing a doctor.

ANAMELECH:
The name's Anamelech, Samuel.

Cut to -
SUTEKH, entering.

ANAMELECH:
And Sutekh, now we can begin...

Cut to -
SAMUEL, the lovely Anti-Christ, as he snaps ELLEN's neck and throws her into the crevasse.

Cut to -
The other's reactions, then, the cavern shaking.

Cut to -
SAM, who collapses against a wall, panting. RUBY runs over by his side.

SAM:
It's too late... (He looks at RUBY) We're all going to die...

Cut to - EXT. The Cave - Night
We see the cave system from an aerial view as the entire place explodes in a column of red light.

The music stops.

Title Card: "Now"

The camera remains dark and we hear a bunch of voices speaking at once, though not distinctly in the least. Finally, a white light starts at the middle of the screen and spreads out. Indistinct shapes join the voices, and then everything starts to come into focus as we see SAM standing over the camera.

SAM:
Dean.

DEAN:
(OS) Yeah...

Cut to -
DEAN, sitting up in bed. He is dressed in a white patient gown, and shakes his head a few times.

DEAN: (CON'T.)
What happened?

SAM:
Well, it's kind of hard to explain...

DEAN:
Then make it easy...

SAM:
Umm, well...

NATHANIEL: (OS)
You're in Heaven, Dean.

DEAN looks over, the camera panning with him, to show NATHANIEL, standing against a plain, white wall.

NATHANIEL:
You're in Heaven.

Series Title Card.

ooo~ now i am getting to love this every second! hope for an update! i hope that there will be a second seasn of DS! i am bringing you into my prayers for the 2nd season!

ACT ONE
Fade Up - INT. Heaven
DEAN is still sitting in the hospital bed. SAM and NATHANIEL stand nearby.

DEAN:
(a beat) You wanna run that piece of crazy by me again?

NATHANIEL:
This is Heaven, Dean...(a beat, then he admits) A part of it, anyway...

DEAN:
Which part is this, then? The Jesus Christ Memorial Wing, or what?

NATHANIEL:
It depends on how you perceive it.

DEAN:
Okay, can I perceive a way out of here?

SAM:
Dean...

DEAN:
Hell, no! I want to know the reason why we're here.

NATHANIEL:
Because you're dead. So are Ruby, Jo, and Bobby.

DEAN:
(a beat, he looks around) Then where are they?

NATHANIEL:
I don't know.

DEAN:
(his eyes narrow) That's not the answer you want to give me.

SERAPHINA: (OS)
He has no other answer for you.

The camera pans over, revealing that SERAPHINA has entered the room.

Cut to -
DEAN.

DEAN:
Oh, great! Just what we freakin' need...

SERAPHINA:
I, on the other hand, know exactly where your friends are.

DEAN:
Good, tell us and angel wing us that way...

SERAPHINA:
They're in Hell, Dean.

DEAN's features darken. NATHANIEL looks ashamed. SAM is horrified.

SAM:
What?!

SERAPHINA:
The power of the Four Horsemen is not to be taken lightly, Sam. They are a destructive force the likes of which the Earth has known only once in its history...

SAM:
Why did we get here, and they went to Hell?

SERAPHINA:
Because your friends were not protected by the Hand of God...you were...

DEAN:
You guys are a bunch of dicks.

Cut to -
SERAPHINA, suddenly appearing at DEAN's bedside.

SERAPHINA:
Care to repeat that little comment, Winchester?

DEAN:
(getting up in her face) Yeah. You...suck!

SERAPHINA:
(a beat) Your mouth will get you killed one of these days, boy...

DEAN:
Thirty years and still going strong...

SERAPHINA glares at him.

NATHANIEL:
This will get us nowhere. We must focus now on the defense of Heaven...

SAM:
(looks over) What the hell does that mean?

NATHANIEL:
The third sign that precedes the return of Lucifer...

DEAN:
Yeah, yeah. Heaven bleeds, we get it...what the hell does that mean?

NATHANIEL:
(a beat) We don't know.

DEAN:
(a beat, sarcastically) Fan-freaking-tastic!

NATHANIEL:
Angels can do many things, Dean...predicting the future is not one of them...

DEAN:
Okay, then what do we do?

SERAPHINA:
You will be sent back to Earth to prevent the rise of Lucifer...

SAM:
What about the whole defense of Heaven crap?

SERAPHINA:
Do you think that the angels are not capable of defending themselves?

DEAN: (angrily, loudly)
No, actually, we think you guys are pretty good at sitting around with your thumbs up your asses while outside, the freaking world goes to Hell!

He blinks, and SERAPHINA is once again at his bedside.

SERAPHINA:
Watch your tone, Winchester...

She touches her hand to his forehead. There is a flash of white light that blinds out the screen

Cut to - EXT. The Ruins of the Caves - Night
We see DEAN waking up in a pit of broken rocks and debris. This was the caves before the explosion. He coughs, waving away the smoke.

DEAN: (calls out)
Sam! Sam!

SAM: (OS)
I'm here!

DEAN gets up and stumbles over to find SAM, who is digging through the rubble. Eventually, he finds BOBBY, JO, and RUBY. He runs and checks.

SAM:
Dean, they still have pulses! They're alive!

DEAN:
Good, let's get them out of here, then!

SAM grabs RUBY and slings her over his shoulder. DEAN starts to work on getting BOBBY up.

Fade to Black.

A mistake you made - "SAM grabs RUBY and slings him over his shoulder." Don't you mean her, not him over Sam's shoulder? Can't wait for more!

Noted and Edited.

ACT TWO
Fade Up - INT. A Hospital - Night
We see a mad rush of people in white coats and scrubs moving around to various places. Dialogue overlaps to a point where it becomes almost indistinct. The camera pans through the place, eventually finding DEAN, sitting with his head in one of his hands. He is asleep.

SAM: (OS)
Dean...

DEAN:
(waking up) Yeah?

The camera pans back, revealing SAM. Both he and DEAN have been bandaged up a bit, but are unscathed for the most part.

SAM:
Well, they're all stable. Ruby, Bobby, Jo...all of them.

DEAN:
Physically, anyway...

SAM:
What I don't get is why Seraphina lied about them being dead.

NATHANIEL: (OS)
She didn't.

The camera pans over to reveal NATHANIEL, standing on the opposite side of DEAN's chair from SAM.

DEAN:
Nath, what is going on?

NATHANIEL:
All of our intelligence said that the explosion caused by the Four Horsemen killed your friends...there shouldn't have been bodies for you to find...

SAM:
(a beat) So, what does that mean?

NATHANIEL:
Something more powerful than the Horsemen wants your friends alive...

SAM and DEAN consider the gravity of the situation.

DEAN:
What about Heaven, what's going on up there?

NATHANIEL:
The Archangels are arguing about how to proceed. The tension is great...

SAM:
The Archangels?

NATHANIEL:
The Archangels are the highest level of our Order, no authority exists that's higher.

DEAN:
Except God?

NATHANIEL:
Yes.

DEAN:
What about God?

NATHANIEL:
The Archangel Council has been informed...

DEAN:
Screw the Council, where is God?

NATHANIEL tenses up.

SAM:
Nathaniel, where is he?

NATHANIEL:
I don't know. Only certain angels are privileged with being able to see him.

DEAN:
What kind of bullcrap is that?

NATHANIEL:
(with a hushed tone) You're talking about the Alpha and Omega, Dean Winchester. I highly suggest that you show some respect...

There is a pause.

DEAN:
Okay, yeah...sure...

NATHANIEL:
Good. I do have a piece of information for you, if you will take it...

DEAN:
Does it involve killing off Lucifer?

NATHANIEL:
Yes.

DEAN:
Spill it.

NATHANIEL:
Cerberus and Sutekh had already been sent out by the Anti-Christ before the Horsemen were released...

DEAN:
Yeah?

NATHANIEL:
They are heading for an abandoned military base in the mountains of Georgia.

DEAN:
Then what the hell are we doing here?

He gets up.

SAM:
You sure that you're okay to walk?

DEAN:
Yeah, I'm good. Let's go.

He heads for the door. SAM looks back to NATHANIEL. The angel shrugs and SAM follows.

Fade to Black.

ACT THREE
Fade Up - EXT. A Rural Road - Day
We see a road sign that reads "Atlanta 25". We pan back from that to see the Impala flying by at top speed.

Music: "Ghost Rider" - REM

Cut to - INT. The Impala - Day
The music is still playing. We see SAM riding shotgun while DEAN drives.

SAM:
You okay?

DEAN:
Yeah, why wouldn't I be?

SAM:
Well, you...I don't know, dude, you're just acting weird...

DEAN:
How am I acting weird?

SAM:
Well, I mean...you left everyone behind in Vegas...all of a sudden, for no reason...

DEAN:
I want to get this done, Sam.

SAM:
Who are you and what have you done with Dean?

DEAN:
(sighs) Sam, look, we can end this, right now...if we can, we can go back to Vegas and be freakin' showgirls for all I care. But we can stop this now, and just go back to the way things were...

SAM looks over at him as we get a close-up of DEAN's face. He stares ahead, determined to stop this before it's too late.

Cut to - EXT. The Abandoned Military Base - Day
We see the Impala parked outside a run-down military base. DEAN and SAM are at the open trunk. DEAN pulls out a a shotgun and hands it to SAM. Then, he takes out the Colt and stuffs it into his pocket.

Cut to - INT. The Military Base - Day
The boys enter the base, all of which is enclosed. They shine their flashlights around.

Cut to -
SAM, who looks around and eventually turns to his left and find RUBY, standing there. He jumps in surprise.

RUBY:
Wow, you're jumpy!

Cut to -
DEAN, who looks over pointing his sawed-off.

DEAN:
What the hell are you doing here?

BOBBY: (OS)
I think a better question is "what the hell are we doing here?"

The camera pans over to show that BOBBY and JO are also nearby.

DEAN:
How did you guys get here?

RUBY:
I healed us and teleported us here. (When DEAN gives her a look) Yes, I kick ass, I know.

SAM:
This is our fight guys...

BOBBY:
You're right, boy, this is our fight. We ain't gonna leave you and Dean to get killed...if we go out, we're going out together...

SAMUEL: (OS)
How sentimental...

The camera pans over to show SAMUEL, flanked on either side by CERBERUS and SUTEKH, both showing their eyes.

Close Up -
JO, glaring at SAMUEL.

JO:
(to SAMUEL) I'm going to kill you...

SAMUEL:
(laughs) You will have ample opportunity to try, Joanna Beth. In fact, I look forward to it... (He waves his hand, throwing everyone by SAM and DEAN to the walls, DEAN pulls out the Colt and aims) Uh-uh, Dean...remember what happened last time you tried to plug me with that?

DEAN:
Let them go, you son of a bitch.

SAMUEL:
In due time, dear brother...in due time...

DEAN:
You're not my brother.

SAMUEL:
(with a sideways glance at SAM) Am I?

Cut to -
SAM, who glares at him.

Cut to -
SAMUEL.

SAMUEL:
(to CERBERUS and SUTEKH) Get everything in place...the time will be soon...

CERBERUS: (in unison with SUTEKH)
Yes, master.

SUTEKH: (in unison with CERBERUS)
Yes, master.

DEAN:
You're not going to bring Lucifer back out of Hell...

SAMUEL:
(laughs) Are you going to stop me, Dean?

RUBY: (OS)
No.

The camera pans over, revealing that RUBY has broken free of the telekinesis and his behind the Anti-Christ. She decks SAMUEL a hard one across the jaw.

RUBY:
I am.

Cut to - EXT. The Military Base - Day
NATHANIEL has arrived and heads toward the base.

SERAPHINA: (OS)
Nathaniel, what are you doing?

NATHANIEL turns, the camera panning with him, to see SERAPHINA has arrived.

NATHANIEL:
Sam and Dean need my help. They can't stop the Anti-Christ on their own...

SERAPHINA:
They have to, Nathaniel. It is their destiny.

NATHANIEL:
But the Council said.

SERAPHINA:
The Council...(she chuckles) Their authority means nothing anymore...

NATHANIEL:
(a beat, his face drops into horror) What do you mean?

SERAPHINA:
Heaven is in an uproar, Nathaniel. War has begun and now it will not stop...a Civil War without end, just as you and your rebels wanted...

NATHANIEL:
We never wanted this!

SERAPHINA:
But it is what you receive. But I offer you a choice...join me, and we can find Michael, and we can end this war now.

NATHANIEL:
(wide-eyed) You know where Michael is?

SERAPHINA:
Yes. We can seek him. Imagine it, if we can take Michael's power, we can end this...take control...

NATHANIEL:
Seraphina, what you're proposing...it's madness...

SERAPHINA:
(a beat, then calmly) Is that a no?

NATHANIEL:
You want to kill an archangel and take his power? Of course it's a no!

SERAPHINA:
(her eyes filled with promise and wonder) Nathaniel, we can have things back to the way they were. Father will love us again...we can take Michael's power and kill Lucifer...and...

NATHANIEL:
We can't go back to the way things were. (When she looks at him) Humans aren't tools...they are the children of our Father...

SERAPHINA:
(angrily) We are the children of God! They are here to use to win this war! They will never know and appreciate His love! Never!

NATHANIEL:
Don't you know who you sound like?

SERAPHINA:
(a beat) Are you going to join me or not?

NATHANIEL:
No...I will not slay Lucifer just to succeed him.

SERAPHINA:
(pulls away part of her coat to reveal a sword in a sheath, which she draws) Then, I will destroy you...

The sword bursts into flame.

NATHANIEL:
(in awe) Michael's sword...

SERAPHINA rushes at him. This could be the end...

Fade to Black.

awesome! i love you! can't wait for next chapter!

ACT FOUR
Fade Up - INT. The Military Base - Day
RUBY is kicking the everliving crap out of SAMUEL. Eventually, he starts blocking.

SAMUEL: (blocking)
I must say, I must've done something to piss you off!

RUBY: (attacking)
Nothing personal...I just want your head on a plate...

SAMUEL: (blocking)
Is it because of what Lilith did to your sweet little Jonah?

Cut to -
SAM, DEAN, JO, and BOBBY watching as the fight continues.

Cut to - EXT. The Military Base - Day
NATHANIEL sidesteps SERAPHINA as she attacks with the sword. As she rams it into the ground, it creates a shockwave that topples him over.

NATHANIEL:
Stop this, Seraphina!

SERAPHINA:
I can't, Nathaniel! (She raises the sword above her head for the killing blow) This is fate...every day, every breath we took was toward this end...(she swings) Look inside and tell me I'm wrong...

The camera pans back, just a little to show MICHAEL (special guest star Christopher Lambert), right behind her.

MICHAEL:
You're wrong...

SERAPHINA turns just in time to have MICHAEL place a hand to her forehead. She screams are her body begins to combust until she is nothing but ash. MICHAEL's sword falls to the ground with a loud clatter. Despite having fallen in dirt, though, it looks pristine.

Cut to -
NATHANIEL, standing up.

NATHANIEL:
Michael...

Cut to -
MICHAEL. He looks at NATHANIEL with a sorrowful expression.

Cut to -
NATHANIEL. Suddenly, we hear a flutter of wings and the camera pans around to show that MICHAEL is gone.

Cut to -
The sword. NATHANIEL kneels down and, carefully, picks it up.

Cut to -
A shot behind NATHANIEL as he looks into the sky. A thunderstorm that seems to have been brewing for eternity finally breaks.

Close Up -
NATHANIEL's face. From his expression, we can tell that this is not good.

Cut to - INT. The Base - Day
RUBY and SAMUEL are still fighting. RUBY clearly has the advantage.

Cut to -
SUTEKH and CERBERUS, who stand nearby, looking nervously to the fight.

CERBERUS:
Master, let us help you

SAMUEL: (blocking)
No! You must continue the ritual.

Cut to -
BOBBY and JO, who are trying to break free of the demon telekinesis.

Cut to -
SAM and DEAN who hear SAMUEL speak and move into position to stop the two demons.

Cut to -
The fight. RUBY and SAMUEL continue to hit and block one another, now the fight appears more even.

SAMUEL:
You can't win, Ruby...even if you do kill me, which you won't, Lucifer will still rise and lay waste to all of creation...

RUBY:
I am going to kill you, you son of a bitch!

SAMUEL:
(laughs) You can't kill what you can't see, can you?

Close Up -
RUBY. The camera then pans back, showing that SAMUEL has vanished.

RUBY:
What the-?

Suddenly, she reels forward as though hit by something or someone.

SAMUEL's VOICE:
C'mon, Ruby! You surely can defeat me!

He bursts out laughing as RUBY tries to rise and, apparently, gets a kick to the face.

Cut to -
SAM and DEAN, facing down SUTEKH and CERBERUS.

CERBERUS:
Get ready, boys! It's the end for you!

DEAN fires the Colt twice, hitting both demons. Their bodies spark as they fall and die.

SAM:
That was too easy...

DEAN:
Yeah, it was...

Cut to -
The fight again. RUBY is getting sorely beaten.

SAMUEL's voice:
Only now, at the end...do you understand...

RUBY gets another kick to the face, SAMUEL reappears, looking over her fallen body.

SAMUEL:
There is no hope for you! Only death! (RUBY raises her dagger) What's this?

RUBY, with strength we've never seen in her before, leaps up and rams SAMUEL through the gut with the knife. He looks shocked for a moment, even gagging for effect, then laughs. The camera pans back a little, revealing that through illusion trickery, RUBY has stabbed herself in the gut.

Cut to -
SAM, who sees.

SAM:
No!

RUBY gagges, staggering back as SAMUEL laughs. He reaches forward and grabs her by the throat.

SAMUEL:
Idiot girl...

RUBY:
(gagging) Go to hell...

SAMUEL:
See you there, you little bitch!

He throws RUBY an astonishing distance across the room, eventually she lands and SAM comes to her side.

SAM: (panicking)
Ruby? Ruby?

RUBY:
(slurred speech) Sam, I'm sorry...

SAM: (panicking)
Ruby, stay with me!

Cut to -
SAMUEL, who looks over with a laugh.

SAMUEL:
She breaks so easily...like an egg...

Cut to -
SAM, is still holding her.

Cut to -
SAMUEL, grinning broadly.

SAMUEL:
And now, the board is set...(the force of the storm outside tears the roof off, rain falls freely into the room) And his rise is nigh!

Cut to -
BOBBY and JO, who are released off of the wall and run over to...

DEAN, standing near SAM, who is still holding the dying RUBY.

Fade to Black.

poor sam, losing ruby! i love it! can't wait for next part!

ACT FIVE
Fade Up - INT. The Base - Day
SAM is still holding the fallen body of RUBY. She is dying.

Cut to -
SAMUEL, who gets back up on the platform that he once stood on.

SAMUEL:
Here we are at last! My Father will rise...the Earth will burn...and all will perish in the brightest fire!

DEAN:
I don't get it! Your demon buddies are dead! It's over!

SAMUEL:
(laughs) They were supposed to die, you fool! Why do you think Lucifer gathered the first six demons he created into his elite? They were dedicated to him...willing to die for the cause...

DEAN:
So everything...but, there were only two...

SAMUEL:
By the end, yes...but you killed Azazel, and then your precious angels killed Pazuzu...then I killed Lilith...

DEAN:
Then I killed Anumelech and...them...

SAMUEL:
That's six...I had keep at least one of them alive for the end...didn't matter when they died, as long as they did...

DEAN:
Dear, God...

SAMUEL:
God ain't got nothing to do with this, Dean...

Suddenly, as the rain continues to fall, we hear a great tremor from beneath them.

SAMUEL: (CON'T.)
He arises!

A lightning bolt hits the ground in the center of the room and the concrete seems to melt away into a violent maelstrom as the bodies of CERBERUS' and SUTEKH's hosts are sucked in. The hole grows, forcing DEAN to pull SAM and RUBY back, with BOBBY and JO moving with them, as it becomes large enough to fit a 747 through. Now, near the entire room is occupied by the hole.

Cut to -
RUBY, dying in SAM's arms.

RUBY:
Sam? Did I do good?

SAM:
You did great, Ruby...stay with me, okay? We'll get out of here and get you patched up, you'll be fine...

RUBY:
Not this time, Sammy...

SAM:
No, c'mon, Ruby, please...

The rain falls as RUBY breathes her last.

RUBY:
Get out there...you guys can beat 'em...

SAM:
Ruby, just rest, okay? We'll get you back and everything will be okay. Please? C'mon...

RUBY:
Go get 'em, champ...

With her last effort, she leans up and kisses him on the lips. Then, she lies back in his arms and is suddenly still.

SAM:
Ruby? Ruby? No!

Cut to -
NATHANIEL, entering. He holds MICHAEL's sword aloft.

NATHANIEL:
We have to leave, now...

Cut to -
DEAN, who looks to him, then nods quickly.

DEAN:
Let's go.

Cut to -
SAMUEL.

SAMUEL:
'Woe to you of Earth and sea...for the Devil sends the Beast with wrath, because he knows the time is short...'

Music: "The Number of the Beast" - Iron Maiden

As the intro of the song finishes, on cue with Bruce Dickinson's iconic scream (start it at 1:21 on the YouTube video to get the idea), a massive column of light bursts from the maelstrom and shoots up into the sky.

Close Up -
SAMUEL, watching the column

SAMUEL:
'And the Beast will walk among the children of the Lord God...and their blood will run beneath his feet...'

Cut to -
SAM (still holding RUBY's body), DEAN, JO, BOBBY, and NATHANIEL as they head for the door and the room gets brighter and brighter as the column expands and...

Fade to White.

We see the Executive Producer credits as we hear SAMUEL laughing his head off.

End.

Well, that's the end of Diversus Semita, Season 1! No word on when Season 2 will start, but it will be a few months at best. Thanks to everyone who's read and has kept along with the story.
