During Season 3 right before his time was up, why not hide Dean in there until they could of figured out a way to save him? Unless the Panic Room was installed during the time between Season 3 and 4 but if it wasn't, why not put him in there? I would assume it would work against hellhounds even though their were no goofer dust to protect him. What do you think?

Even supposing that panic room could protect Dean, I don't think he would accepted to stay there doing nothing. If he had to die, better to do fighting
