Welcome to the Doctor Who Wolf Game. Please remember, Standard Rules apply, but with specific role modifications as listed below!

Pro-town roles

Win Conditions: Pros win once all Antis have been eliminated from play.

The Doctor - Needs to find and convert Jack Harkness. Should the Doctor attempt to convert the Master, both roles will be out of the game. Should the Doctor attempt to convert the Cyberman or the Dalek, he will not be successful. The Doctor will have 3 attempts to find Jack by PMing me during night phases. Once all 3 attempts have been used, he will become a regular townie that cannot be converted by the Cyberman nor killed by the Dalek. The Doctor cannot convert the same night Martha checks an alignment.

Martha Jones - can determine the alignment (not specific role) of any players in the game once per night phase. Should she check an alignment, the Doctor will be unable to convert.

TARDIS - can protect any pro 3 times throughout the game. The TARDIS cannot protect itself and can be eliminated from play should the Dalek try to exterminate it. Should the TARDIS be found by the Master, the TARDIS will become a Paradox Machine and be forced to use any remaining protections in favor of the antis. The Cyberman will have no effect on the TARDIS.

Anti-town roles

Win Conditions: The Antis win once all Pro Roles have been found/killed OR there are an equal number of antis and pros in the game.

Dalek - can call in a kill during a night phase. Cannot kill if a conversion is called in instead. Should the Dalek be eliminated, the ability to kill will be passed randomly to any remaining anti player. Should the Dalek attempt to kill the Doctor, the Dalek will be eliminated from play.

Cyberman - can “upgrade” humans, thereby converting townies to antis. If the Cyberman decides to convert, the Dalek will not be able to kill. Should the Cyberman attempt to convert the Doctor, the Cyberman will be unsuccessful.

The Master - The master has 3 attempts to kill The Doctor and only the Doctor. Once all 3 attempts have been utilized, the Master is converted to a regular anti. Should the Master attempt to kill Jack, Jack will be forced to help the Master find and kill the Doctor for the remainder of the game.

Note: The Master AND Dalek CAN call in a kill on the same night. However, the Master will only be able to kill the Doctor and will only effect that role.

Independent Roles:

Win Conditions: A co-win is possible should the independent role manage to remain independent throughout the entire game.

Captain Jack Harkness - an immortal that cannot be killed by the Dalek OR converted by the Cyberman. Should Jack be found by the Master, he will be forced to help kill the Doctor. Should Jack be found by the Doctor, he will be forced to help kill the Master. Once converted, this character will remain aligned with said party until the end of the game.

Jack may only call in a kill once he has been aligned with either party, but only wants to kill the Doctor or the Master (depending on his alignment). Jack will have only 3 attempts to kill his opponent and CAN call in a kill in conjunction with the Master should he become anti. Jack's role will effect all players (not just the Doctor and the Master... so choose wisely!)

Should Jack complete his task or run out of kills, he will become a regular anti or townie depending on his conversion alignment for the remainder of the game.

Please Remember:
To encourage activity, I have decided to employ the "curse of the timelords" in which any one that has not voted during a day phase may randomly be up for elimination... because that is the curse of the timelords!

Please remember to bold each vote. Should you have specific questions for me, please write it in orange so i can spot it quickly or feel free to PM me. I'll get back to you as soon as I can either way. I'll be sure to answer you in yellow if I reply in the game.

Always BOLD your vote and make it obvious who you are voting for. Please don't use nicknames unless it is clear who you intend to vote for.

Here are you players:
-TheMissingWinchester
-Aislinn
-Yoda
-Raven524
-Angel325girl innocent lynched day 1
-B(ad) Wolf
-karsisxiii innocent lynched day 2

It was a piercing noise that cut through the air as an old blue box started to shimmer in and out of focus in the back alley. There was a pause before the door opened and a slim man poked his head out, glancing up and down the littered area.

Satisfied that he had not been seen, the Doctor emerged from his TARDIS with a grin on his face. His jammed his hands into his pockets and began to stroll out into the rush of people.

...little did he know that this would be no ordinary visit to Earth...

Day Phase begins now and will end on Wednesday @ 10:30PM EST.

Good luck, companions!

Me too! But if we don't vote, then I guess there is a random kill from the non-voters if I understand correctly--so I guess we'll have to come up with someone. sad.gif

But I'm gonna wait until a few more people get on first. smile.gif

maybe that rule can help us pros? If an anti doesn't vote, then they run the risk of being eliminated anyway... so the antis have to vote too. We'll just have to watch voting patterns, and hope they give us something to go on?

I think it will also help if it encourages people to come in and discuss things. People who just come on to vote will be just as suspicious as those who don't vote.

I do have a question though Do we have any plain pro or anti's in this game and if so, how many of each?

I see 7 power roles so I assume the rest are some make up of pro/anti.

There are 7 power roles in this game. All remaining players are regular pros... unless they're found by the Cyberman during night phases. wink.gif

wohoo! A new game. A friend of mine played this game with a group of us. It was played using bits of paper and involved closing your eyes, then waking up if you were sherrif, doctor, antis. One person over looked the whole thing to say who was dead. It was actually quite good.
Anyway, my random vote would be to the people who don't come on. For this game to work you need active players. I know people don't come on for valid reasons but I always feel it's more fair to those who are on. Especially for the first vote when you have nothing to go on.

Actually I agree Sarahuk, if you can't be on often enough to play, then you aren't helping the pro's win. That's why I usually wait for the first vote to see who doesn't come on.

If everyone come on, then I just draw a name from a cup (I know low tech, but hey it works wink.gif )

Sarahuk that's where this idea grew out of; I think that's right. Wasn't it like some experiment performed by some college student overseas (like Europe)? At least that's what I thought I read. I didn't think I'd like this as much as I do, but it really is addicting. I'd love to try to play live as well, that would be really fun.

I also agree about those who aren't on and who don't actively play. It's hard though, as I wouldn't want to discourage someone from signing up, but.... shrug.gif

We have until Wednesday for everyone to come on. For me I have to agree that the way I'll probably end up choosing this round is by voting for someone who hasn't been on, or if we all have been on then by listing the names and having my hubby randomly pick.
