We must continue to be aware against any type of Internet regulation, especially ones that put money in congress pockets.

Best way to send a message is to vote out everyone in congress and start over fresh...

Oh yeah if you have a netflix account cancel today!

You gotta love the government--if you can't get it by being open about it, you hide it in another bill and hope people don't figure it out until it's too late.

Which is why I've always been a proponent that just like local communities post new major laws and hold meetings open to the public before they take action should apply to state and federal laws as well. It seems someone promised 'transparency' in government--guess his definition is different than mine shrug.gif

Between the President bypassing congress when he doesn't get his way and Harry Reid running his own agenda, is it a wonder that those who understand this don't want them messing with the internet??

Thanks for the update April--maybe the next action should go to the source--the industry that is pushing this law, the motion picture industry and the recording artist industry. I wonder what would happen if the evil internet no longer allowed the sale or viewing of their products? I wonder what would happen if they had to go back to waiting for people to go to the store to by a DVD or CD? Maybe if their freedom to use the internet for profit was curtailed--they'd understand why 'government' is not the answer and get back to working with the private sector for a solution that benefits all.

At a minimum, the best way to stop this madness is in the voting box...before you vote, ask the candidate where he/she stands on the issue and make it known that the wrong answer means one less vote.

Thanks for the update April...just another thing to keep our eyes on.
