I am the game mod and will post important information in blue text, so that it is easy to pick out. Players, please do not use blue text in this thread (if you have blue text in your signature, that's fine).

You may contact me via PM at any point in the game and I will respond as soon as possible. If you post something in the thread directly meant for me, please post it in orange text, so that it, too, is easy to pick out.

Roles (all were assigned randomly)

The Humans

There are 9 humans, 4 of which are power roles, they win after they have eliminated all the vampires.

Buffy: She’s allowed one kill at night. She only has three stakes so she must choose carefully. If she’s not comfortable making a kill she can opt out. If she chooses not to kill she still needs to PM the game mod letting them know.

Angel: He’s the protector. He protects one person per night and the protection carries into the next day phase. He can only protect a person once during the game.

Giles: He tracks one person per night and sees who they visit. However, he won’t be able to tell which side they are on.

Willow: Through the use of magic she has the ability to scry out whether a person is human or vampire but won’t be able to tell which role they are. Once she has determined that a person is human she can choose to PM them. No other human can PM unless contacted by Willow first and then they can only PM Willow. She can act as a liaison for the humans; but, humans beware, for an added twist Drusilla can PM you and pretend to be Willow. It’s up to you to decide how much info you choose to give out, if any. (Didn’t think I’d make it that easy on you did you?)

The Vampire’s

There are four. They win after they have eliminated all the humans. Unlike the humans they will start out the game knowing who each other are and are able to PM each other during the day and night phase.

The Master: He sends the Anointed One out to kill at night. He gives his order during the day phase, thru PM . Since he doesn’t do anything at night if tracked he appears human to Giles. But will come up anti, if checked by Willow.

Spike: Like Buffy he is allowed one kill at night. Unlike Buffy he only has two kills so he has to choose wisely. If he’s not comfortable with a kill he can opt out. If he chooses not to kill he still has to PM the game mod letting them know.

Drusilla: She can follow one person per night and can find out if they visited anyone but not their role. This helps her narrow down who the possible power roles are. She can also PM humans and pretend to be Willow, however she needs to be careful as this could lead to her being found out.

The Anointed One: Carries out the night kill as requested by The Master.

Day Phase One ends Monday, May 16th, at 9:00pm EST. At least 7 people need to place a vote. If at least 7 votes are not placed the kill will be done randomly. In the event of a tie, the kill will be done randomly, between the players who are tied.


Buffy had thought that she had rid Sunnydale of The Master and The Anointed One, as well as Spike and Drusilla; however, something has brought them back and they are bent on getting revenge. Buffy joined by Angel, Giles, Willow and a small group of humans, who know the truth about what’s out there, fight to once again destroy the evil that has returned to Sunnydale. Will their valiant efforts be enough or will the vampires get their revenge and kill Buffy , along with all who help her?

Well first day phase votes are always kind of random, but you seem awfully defensive.

^^ Lots of people post things like this on the first day. :shrug I don't usually thing much of it.

I think admitting you're a human on your first post isn't the smartest thing to do. In a previous game, someone did that too saying they were a townie when they were actually anti. Admitting it too quickly is always suspicious because no one has suspected you yet. But by admitting that, you could have pointed it out to Willow who could check to see if you're human or not and pm you if you are. You could also have put a target on your back by the antis unless that's what you wanted to happen.

yay. a new game. I'm on my phone right now so if I double post or anything that's why. Stupid phone. I need to get one thats better for internet. lol. Also the end of the weeks I might not be on much. I hear ya Yoda about the lottery. lol.

Man, it was ONE vote and it was the first vote in the game, meaning it has got to be random. Yet, you're making a big thing of it, so I think I'll keep my vote.

On another note, Stokes, that smiley looks rather evil, what do you have to say about that?

I'm facing my computer rubbing my hands together in anticipation for the fun of gutting some vamps. Unfortunately, the only smiley on this site that rubs its hands together is the evil one.

Speaking of the Lottery, it seems like we are back where we always are on the first day, random voting <_<

I don't know about TMW, she (sorry if you're a he) has been defensive before when voted for in previous games so I'm not sure that is enough of a reason to vote for her. As to saying she's human, well I don't know if that's really an indicator either.

But rather than a random vote, I guess we will need to try to get someone and hope not to hit a power role :unsure:

Right now I really don't know who to vote for and to be honest will probably just draw a name like I've done in the past. But we have time, so I think I'll wait.

I'd like to hear from the few players that haven't posted yet. Even if the first day vote is random, it's good to at least hear from everyone.

What I hate about the first day is I never know what to post.

Personally, I tend to find TMW hard to read in pretty much every game, so nothing she's said or done has made me think she's pro or anti yet.

I should mention that I'll be away from home for 10 days starting Monday... It shouldn't really drastically affect my ability to post, although I might not be quite as highly active. As it happens, I'm off to the Land of the Free for an awesome nearly 2 weeks. I should have internet access throughout, though, but I predict long spells of inactivity due to exploring and generally having a real life for this short time.

As I previously stated, I don't think there would be any significant decrease in my activity, other than being perhaps a bit distracted and slow to respond.

Entering the room, I must say that I find TMW's super-defensiveness suspicious so early in the game. It's not enough for me to vote for her just yet, but it's something I'll be keeping an eye on.

I'm back. I didn't go to the movies as planned so now I have tonight, Tomorrow and Monday to make a decision. I forget who all are playing so I have to see who hasn't posted yet. lol.

Finally getting to watch the Smallville finale.

Yeah, I am, most of the time, but when someone only post once in like two or three days you kind of forget they're even in the game and some of these players didn't play in the last game like Sammy and L.Black and I think Missing.

I know. It's not the blonde highlights it''s just me. At least that's what my mom would say. I would say that too, in fact I do say that when my friend has a "duh" moment and she goes "It's my blonde hair I swear!" and i go "I don't think it's the blonde hair." then she gives me an evil glare. It's comical though.

That was the only part of the finale I didn't like. She should've survived the series, in my opinion.
