i think its Eve [from adam and eve crap..] i mean, she was the first woman on earth and she started this huge family tree [lol] and god abondend her from Heaven so when she died.. maybe she went to Purgatorium.....

the mother of all monsters, that's why she's on purgatory, cuz all monsters have no soul so they go there.

I think they saying in away that Eve is from Adam and Eve.... Or they just maybe saying she is the first so they used the name Eve...

Monsters do have a soul, just that they go to Purgatory.

Well I seem to remember that the name 'Eve' means literally means something like 'source of life' or maybe it was 'beginning of life'.

That would fit as she is the source of life for her children. Although it would be an interesting twist to have Eve, the mother of monsters be the original Eve who maybe ended up in purgatory along with Adam most likely as they committed the original sin in most Christian mythologies.

But then again, they could be just using the name to throw us off. :sherlock

so anyone thinking Eve wants to try and bring back Adam so that's why she's assembling her monsters? They seem to have the villains every season as male, female, male, female and then male. First yellow eyes, then Lilith, followed by Lucifer, now Eve, maybe Adam will be the next villain? *shrugs* that would just mean two more seasons of Supernatural. lol.

Show is just messing with familiar names (Eve and purgatory) from the Judeo Christian traditions like they've done all along to create entirely new universes. ie, Eve (not a literal historical figure by the way) is the mother of humans not monsters. Purgatory is a place of purification/preparation and has nothing to do with monsters. And monsters having souls??? Totally new concept.

But anyway - show can do what they want because of creative license so I won't be surprised if they do make her "that" Eve.

I kind of agree that it really isn't the traditional 'Eve' most of us think of. As I said, I think they are just using the name because it conjures up the idea of being the source of creation rather than actually being the mother of the human race SicFi.

We know they take things and twist them. :lol:

I still think they are also loosely basing her off the greek goddess who was the mother of all monsters as well. So quite possibly we have another mixture of myths here to get them what they want. :)

or it could be S&C :lol: :lol:

I guess it's Eve and I hope this storyline will continue in season 7 because it took Sam & Dean a long time to kill YED etc. too.
It would be too easy when they find out all they need to know in just 6 episodes.
If we will get a season 7 Eve can continue to throw monsters at Sam & Dean and cause trouble :hide

I'm pretty sure it will continue into season 7 Samfan3, I don't see how they can tie it up in 6 episodes.

Actually they could drag it out even further if they want...I vote until season 10 ;)

that's what my brother told me when this show first started, with all the monsters, myths and legends out there Sam and Dean can do, it would probably of gone to season ten but then they decided to go the hell route and bring in angels and Lucifer but I'm glad they found a way around that and are dealing with monsters again. :happydance
