Pro-Town: – win once the anti-town side has been eliminated.
5 Citizens

Sookie Stackhouse (The Telepath) - can determine a player’s role rather than a player’s alignment; being a telepath, information Sookie collects is fallible; depending on the number returned by a random number generator, the answer the game mod tells Sookie will either automatically be a member of Eric’s Hired, automatically a member of the Bon Temps Citizens, reversed results, or the true information (think of Sookie as being the same person and yet all four of the different cops in Syriani’s Cops and Robbers game randomly switching between the four roles).

Bill Compton (The Reviver) - can revive one deceased player during each night phase, but must be careful with his selections because any player he revives will be told his identity.

Sam Merlotte (The Guardian) - can protect one player during each night phase and that protection remains intact until the following day phase has ended.

Jason Stackhouse (The Vigilante) - can kill a player he believes to be working with the anti-town players during the night phase; he is limited to one bullet for the entire game.

Tara Thornton (The Tracker) - may see what somebody’s night action was or the target of the night action; will not be told both and must make the choice of what she wants each night.

Sheriff Andy Bellefleur (The Sheriff) - can determine the alignment of one player during each night phase; has two kill votes during the day phase (the second must be sent to the game mod and not posted in the thread, but can be for the same person).

Lafayette Reynolds (The Traitor) - is not technically anti-town (meaning he will appear pro-town to Andy), but is bound to Eric, so wants his side to win when it comes to the V situation; knowing who the anti-town players are (like all anti-town players), he works with their vote during the day cycle to protect them and hamper the town; although he is listed as a pro-town power role, he only wins with an anti-town victory; what also makes him considered a pro-town power role is if he is the first or second anti-town player to die, Tara is granted an extra life in the game.

Jessica Hamby (The Teenage Vampire) - is a standard role with a particular constraint; she must use all of the following words/phrases at least once each day phase: “vampire,” “werewolf,” “shapeshifter,” “Russell,” “Eric,” and “Bill.” If she fails to do so in any day phase, the player automatically dies.

Anti-Town: – wins once the number of pro-town roles equals the original number of anti-town roles (counting Lafayette as anti-town).
1 Hired Gun -- Vote to kill one player each night.

Eric Northman (The Anti-Town Leader) - is a combination of Sookie’s and Andy’s roles; he can both decipher a player’s identity (with fallibility) during the night phase and has two kill votes during the day phase (is to send the second to the game mod, but may be for the same person).

Pam (The Hypnotizer) - is able to target one player at night; if that player is both a power role and not a vampire (namely, not Bill, Eric, herself, Sophie-Anne, or Russell), she can disable their ability or change the target; she will not be informed the player’s actual role, just the target name.

Independent: – win once he has killed Eric and either Sookie or Bill; as such, he has his own version of a nighttime kill.

The Lone Wolf - has two kill votes during the day phase (the second must be sent to the game mod, but may be for the same person); this player is also masquerading as another player in the game (meaning he is an additional title given to any player, anti or pro) and is only out for himself unless the event of him no longer being able to complete his win condition occurs (in which case, he reverts to his role's true alignment).


**Please note that this is not an RPG. You do not have to sound like Sookie if you're her unless you want to give clues about your role. The roles simply represent what you can do in the game but you play as yourself -- not a character. As the game progresses, I will relate what happens in a short narrative at the beginning and end of the day phases.

All roles can PM each other during day phases. Only anti-town players can PM each other during night phases. The Lone Wolf is also allowed to PM me his nightly kill.

All the inhabitants of Bon Temps, Louisiana gathered in the town square to discuss their options as morning dawned. It was either going to be them or some hellish vampires who came out victorious over the small-time war over the narcotic V they were stuck in the middle of, but they were going to do all in their power to prevent those vamps from killing all their friends, neighbors, and loved ones.

Day Phase 1 Begins

Deadline for Day Phase 1: July 21st @ 10 PM EST.

Day Phases also ends when a majority vote has been reached. In order to reach a majority for Day 1, someone will need to receive 9 votes. Voting for "No Kill" is not an option.

Also, like Luke in the last game, I will be permitting the forwarding of PMs because, as he said, it comes down to the same principle: trust.

metallicar is my flatmate, and we share a laptop. Lucky old me has the use of an internet phone, so I normally get on every day, but metallicar doesn't have that option, and has to settle for every other day (we alternate days).

We're both going away tomorrow until wednesday, so there'll probably be a suspicious silence, depending on whether there's a connection where we're going.
