Okay, I haven't written a story in a while, so here's a new story. Hope you guys enjoy and please let me know what you think!
(1996) The sound of boards creeking can be heard through out the warehouse. Gracie clutches her winchester rifle tightly as she follows Bobby through the dark hallway. She jerks back to the sound of bats flying through the metal roof. Turning back Bobby sighs as Gracie lowers the gun. "You shouldn't be so paranoid!" he said. Gracie stares at him then rolls her eyes.
"Yeah, well dad told me to always be ready" She cocks the gun in place and continues down the hall ahead of Bobby.
"You should always be ready it's part of being a hunter" he said. Gracie smiles and she glances back. There's a loud howl ahead. Gracie stops.
"It's here!" she calls racing down the hall.
"Wait!" Bobby shouts racing down the hall behind her.
Gracie races through the doors into a wide room. She jerks back as the door slams shut blocking Bobby from getting to her. She turns back to the sound of a growl. Five men walk from the shadows. Gracie aims the gun at the men. She jerks back as firery red eyes appear from the table close by. She jerks back as the hellhound leaps from the table and on top of her. Bobby bangs on the door as ear peircing screams can be heard from the room. "NO!" he screams as he slams his fist against the door. The screams slowly fade as the building becomes silent.
(2010) Sam stands beside Dean as they watch Bobby sit in his wheelchair beside a gravestone. Bobby slowly lays a rose down on the grave. He slowly turns the wheelchair and heads back over to Dean and Sam. "Let's go" he said.
"Who was she?" Sam asks.
"You ask too many questions," Bobby snaps wheeling his chair to the car. Sam shrugs as they walk behind him.
Sam sits silently on the couch looking through a photo album. He stops at a picture of his dad. He grins seeing a girl standing beside John holding a rifle. "Hey Dean," he calls. Dean walks over and sits down slowly beside Sam. "Have you seen this girl before?" he asks.
"No," Dean says shaking his head.
"I have," Sam said.
"Where?" Dean asks looking at Sam. Sam shakes his head.
"I don't know," he says. "I know I've seen her though." Dean shrugs as he looks over at Bobby who is sitting silently at the table. Dean rises and walks over.
"Who was she?" he asks sitting down slowly.
"She was a hunter, one of the best," Bobby says as Sam walks over and sits down beside Dean. "She was young, she would've been the same age as Sam," Bobby continues. He shakes his head slowly.
"What happened to her?" Sam asks.
"She ran into an ambush, I couldn't get to her, she was slaughtered," Bobby says sadly. Sam and Dean cringe. Bobby slowly wheels his chair away from the table and into the next room.
"We should check out this place, see what happened," Sam says. Dean shakes his head.
"It's going to be dangerous," he says. "I don't know," he says rising.
"Come on Dean, we could find out what happened, that might make Bobby feel better, we have to try Dead," Sam says pleadingly. Dean sighs and nods.
"Alright," he says. "We go tonight," Sam nods as he rises and shuts his lap top.
Rain softly patters against the tin roof of the warehouse. Dean and Sam enter the building and the darkness. Sam jerks to the sound of bats fluttering around the open room. He sighs as he releases his clutch on the gun. They slowly enter the hall. Sam stares ahead at the door ahead. Suddenly a large breeze blows through the hall. Sam stares forward as a girl dressed in a black vest, a brown shirt and brown jacket and jeans race towards him. Her hair covered in blood and gashes on her body. She looks back as she screams. Sam watches her run by them then disappear. Dean walks up to Sam. "You alright?" he asks. Sam stares down the hall.
"Yeah...yeah I'm good," he says continuing down the hall. They pass an empty room slowly. A girl in a white dress stands silently at the door as they pass. She watches silently as they get closer to the room. A loud rushing sound can be heard from the room. Sam quickly darts into the room.
"Sammy!" Dean shouts as the door slams shut behind Sam. Dean races over to the door and slams his fist against it. "Sam!" he shouts pounding against the door.
Sam stares back at the door. He glances back to see a girl standing close by. He aims his gun at her. "Who are you?" he calls. She glances over at the table. Sam hears a loud growl. Sam can see red eyes watching him from the wooden table a foot away. He glances back at the girl. The girl smiles as the hellhound leaps from the table and on top of Sam. Sam screams as the hellhounds claws dig into him. Suddenly everything goes black. He gasps as he opens his eyes.
Dean leans over him. "Sammy!" he calls. Dean listens for breathing. "Sammy!" he screams. Sam glances forward and sees the girl in the black vest and jeans in front of him. He glances back slowly and sees Dean leaning over him. He glances over at Gracie.
"Am I dead?" Sam asks. Gracie looks at him.
"No!" she says. "You're in the inbetween," she says softly. Sam glances forward and sees a large field in front of him. Gracie smiles as she skips forward.
"What is this place?" Sam asks.
"It's what you're missing," Gracie says softly. She holds out her hand. Sam steps through the tall grass. He glances down and sees that he's wearing a white suit. Gracie smiles as he takes her hand. They race through the large field and come to a stop. A large waterfall can be see in the distance.
"This is beautiful," he says. Gracie smiles.
"It is, but..we can't make it there just yet," she says. Sam jerks to the sound of shouting and beeping. He covers his ears.
"Hang on! You got to hang on!" shouts a voice. Sam jerks forward to the sound of Dean.
"It's my brother," he says to Gracie. He turns back and sees that he's in the hospital. Gracie stands beside him as they look into a hospital room. Sam stares at his body hooked up to lifesupport. Gauze bandages are around his arms and chest. His brown hair is covered with white gauze. Dean is sitting beside him with his head hanging down. He glances up slowly and stares at Sam. His face pale white and dark circles around his eyes. "You have to send me back," he says.
"I can't," Gracie says softly. "We're being held on to."
"Held on to?" Sam says. Gracie jerks back with a sob. Sam stares forward as a girl walks down the hall in a white dress with a hellhound at her side She holds up her hand. Gracie falls to the floor with a gasps. Sam chokes as loud ringing can be heard. He glances over as the monitors begin to ring loudly. Dean moves back as tears stream down his face. The doctors rush into the room. Sam falls to his knees as he sobs. He rest his head down on the floor. He jerks up as he can breathe again. He finds himself in a large golden field. Gracie sits beside him.
"They took you to surgery, you had a blood clut," she says. Sam sits back slowly.
"Who was the girl in the white dress?" he asks.
"She's a demon, she'll stop at nothing...her job is torture the human soul," Gracie says.
"How do we stop her?" Sam asks.
"'We can't, it is said that only a human soul can be released with the help of a human," Gracie says. "The only way for us to be free from this demon is...is for a human to set us free?"
"And if they don't?" Sam asks.
"we'll torment for ever," Gracie says softly as tears come to her eyes. Thunder rolls in the distance. Gracie rises slowly. "Oh Sam," she whispers. She glances back at him.
"What?" Sam says softly. Sam glances around and finds them in the warehouse. Sam jerks back as the girl in the white dress can seen in front of him. She smiles as the hellhound comes up beside her. "No!" he shouts as he quickly races down the hall as the hellhound chases him.
Dean enters the hall of the hospital. He walks over to the coke machine and pulls out some change. He groans seeing it's not enough. "Need some change?" a girl asks. Dean glances over at her.
"It's okay, thanks," he says.
"No, I insist," the girl says handing him a dollar. "Why are you here?" she asks.
"My brother was attacked by my pitbull," Dean says. The girl grins.
"Too bad," the girl says. Dean glances over at her. The girl forces a faint smile.
"Why are you here?" Dean asks.
"I work here," the girl says. "I help keep an eye on the patients."
"To make sure they don't go any where?" Dean asks.
"You never know," she says with a smile. Dean watches her continue to walk down the hall. He slides the change into the coke machine. He glances down the hall and sees a figure racing down the hall. He gasps seeing Sam race past him with a horrified look on his face. Dean gasps. He glances back at Sam laying on the hospital bed.
"Looks like you've seen a ghost," Bobby says. Dean glances down at him.
"Yeah, I'm just tired," he says. Bobby looks at Sam.
"How is he?" he ask.
"In a coma, he's critical, the doctor's don't think he'll make it," Dean says. Bobby looks at Dean.
"It was a bad attack, now I'm not one for letting a person suffer," Bobby says.
"I think he's still here, I can feel him, I don't think he's ready to give up, not yet Bobby and neither am I!" Dean snaps walking back into the room. Bobby stares forward. Sam stands beside Bobby watching into the room.
"Boy why did you do this," Bobby whispers. The girl walks up to Bobby.
"Are you his father?" the girl asks.
"Yes ma'am," Bobby says using their usual undercover roles.
"He's in safe hands, don't worry, " the girl says with a smile. Sam stares at her. She glances up at him. She smiles as sharp jagged teeth appear from her mouth.
"No! NO!" Sam screams. Bobby jerks back to the screams. He turns back and sees that the girl is now gone. Dean enters the hall.
"I'll catch up with you later," Bobby says.
"Where are you going?" Dean asks.
"I have some work I need to do," Bobby says. Dean nods as Bobby wheels his chair down the hall quickly and disappears. Dean groans as he leans against the door frame. He stares back at Sam sadly.

Hey thanks guys!! Don't worry I haven't forgotten, my update is coming soon! So keep watching.
K, as promised, here's the new update:
Bobby flips the page of the book he has laying across his kitchen table. He stops seeing the picture of a winged angel with it's wings around a human being. There's a loud rush of wind through the house. Bobby stares forward annoyed. He turns back to see Castiel standing in the corner. "What do you want?" he asks. Castiel glances over at the book.
"The royal guardian," Castiel says walking back and forth slowly. "You know what they truly do?" he asks.
"Enlighten me," Bobby snaps.
"They find a human they are drawn to, take Sam for instances, he stepped right into the same trap Graice did. Now..he's in the between world," Castiel says.
"He's not going to pull through is he?" Bobby asks.
"No," Castiel says. "His guardian knows what she wants, she'll stop at nothing to take him across," he says.
"She?" Bobby says. Castiel walks over and flips open the photo album he points to Gracie. "No! There's no way," Bobby snaps.
"She was left at the door step of her parents, there's no true record of her being born, the murder scene was covered up, her body vanished," Castiel says.
"That's a lie!" Bobby shouts. "I saw her be buried."
"Did you?" Castiel says. "Bobby, she's a royal guardian, their job is to take people across the waters to the gates of Heaven," he says. "They don't let their souls go," he says. "Sam will not wake up." Bobby leans against the desk and places his hands on his face.
"Stop this!" he snaps. He takes his hands away angrily and jerks back. Castiel is now gone. Bobby looks back down at the picture of Gracie. He quickly shuts the book and rolls his chair from the house quickly.
Gracie sits on the shore of the waters staring at the other side. Sam walks over and sits down beside her. "The waterfall is beautiful," Sam says. Gracie smiles.
"It is," she says.
"We're not able to get there are we?" Sam asks. Gracie looks over at Sam and shakes her head.
"No," she says.
"What can I do?" Sam asks. "There has to be something." Gracie looks back at the waterfall.
"We have to kill the demon, break the bound and you'll be set free and you'll be able to cross," Gracie says.
Sam stares forward "What about Dean, Bobby?" he asks looking at her.
"It'll hurt, it'll hurt real bad for a while but they'll move on," Gracie says. "Dean will always try to find some way to raise you but...against God's orders there is nothing he can do," she says. Sam grins.
"Against God's orders?" he asks. "What about you?"
"What about me?" Gracie asks.
"What's holding you back?" Sam asks.
"It's not about me," Gracie says rising. Sam quickly rises.
"Gracie please, what's holding you back?" he asks.
"You are!" Gracie says softly. "You're holding me back."
"Me?" Sam says softly. Gracie nods.
"You see Sam, the demon that has hunted you down and hurt you is a bondsman!" she says. "I made a deal for you, a deal that won't allow the demon to take you, as much as she wants to you're on my land now," Gracie says.
"Who are you?" Sam asks. Gracie smiles.
"There's a war coming, a great war, be glad you won't be part of it," she says. Lightening flashes brightly through the sky. Sam looks up slowly as dark clouds move in.
"What's going on?" Sam asks. Lightening flashes again. Gracie stares forward.
"Look who we have here," she says as Castiel makes his way through the tall grass. "Looking good Cas" Gracie says. Castiel shakes his head slowly.
"Thought we would never meet again," he says. He glances over at Sam. "Hey Sam," he says.
"Castiel?" Sam says. "What are you doing here?"
"Came to make a bargin," Castiel says as he looks at Gracie.
"No!" Gracie says.
"You should listen to my offer first," Castiel says.
"I'm not interested," Gracie says. Sam looks at her then at Castiel.
"You come and help us fight this demon you can have Sam's soul," Castiel says. Gracie stares at Castiel.
"Cas! You're selling me out?" Sam snaps. Gracie turns to Sam and presses her palm against his forehead. Suddenly everything falls dark.
Sam wakes slowly to the sound of beeping machines. He glances down slowly and sees Dean sitting asleep beside the bed. Sam slowly moves his arm. He can feel Dean's hand resting on top of his wrist. Dean wakes slowly to the movement. He glances over at Sam. "Sammy?" Dean says sitting forward. Sam looks around the room silently. "Sammy? Look at me," Dean says. Sam looks at him slowly.
"It's Sam" he whispers. Dean smiles. Sam groans.
"What happened?" he whispers.
"You were ambushed," Dean says. Sam shakes his head slowly.
"I was in this place, this open field," he says.
"You were attacked in a warehouse," Dean says. Sam struggles to sit up. Dean forces him back. "No! You'll tear the stitches, you have to lay still" Dean says.
"Where's Cas? Where's Gracie?" Sam asks.
"Gracie?" Dean asks.
"Yeah, Cas bargained with her." Sam says.
"What kind of bargain?" Dean asks in fear.
"We kill the demon, Gracie will take my soul," Sam says. "Gracie is an angel, she's the gate keeper," he says. "We fight this battle and get rid of this demon she'll take me," he says. Dean stares at Sam in hurt and fear.
"I'm not letting it happen," Dean says rising.
"We don't have an option, we have to find this demon," Sam says.
"I'll find the demon, but I'll kill Gracie before I let her take you," Dean snaps. "And I mean that," he snaps. Sam groans as Dean storms from the room in search of Castiel. Sam sighs as he close his eyes to get some sleep amidst the storm brewing outside.
Okay, end of that chapter!!! Hope everyone enjoys!!!
