I've had an idea for a fanfiction rolling around in my head for months! Even while working on writing my third novel and trying to get the other two published, this idea has been driving me crazy. I haven't written anything down yet since I'm not sure if it's something worth starting or not. So I figured I'd come on here, pitch the main idea, and see if I get any bites for more...
It's about a young woman (I have yet to name her) who was kidnapped and forced to spend her childhood on a religious/satanic cult compound. The things that were done to her, and a countless number of other girls, were beyond horrific. The cult members/leaders are all men and all...demons.
When she is 16 years old, the compound, as well as the demons, is finally liberated and the girl even manages to save many of her fellow prisoners. And the first friendly face she sees when she finally ascends from the pit is Bobby Singer.
The girl makes it her life-long mission to hunt the demons that abused her and so many others and lives her life on the road like all the hunters we know. Except she is different. She flies completely below the radar. She makes no contacts, has no friends or family. No other hunters but Bobby even know that she exists. Unlike Sam and Dean she doesn't take on every monster and demon that comes along. She only looks for those that made her life a living hell. She works alone...
Until, years later, (Here we jump to present time) Bobby calls her to help him, Sam, and Dean on a case.
Despite how this senario might sound, Sam and Dean ARE main characters. But just try and picture the show adding another character. A beloved one that's not in every single episode, but we always know that they're around. Kind of like Castiel.
There's a heck of a lot more to this and from what all I have in my head, I promise it's going to get really deep and quite interesting.
Eventually we find out that this girl has deeper connections with other characters that even she didn't know she had. And she's even going to have a roll in the apocalypse storyline. And it all stems back to her time in the compound and what happened there.
I would LOVE to have some feedback on this, please. Let me know if you think it's something that you might actually read. I haven't been on this site too long, but I love it almost as much as I love Supernatural, itself. It didn't take long before I really felt at home amongst my fellow fans here.
Thanks, friends!
Sounds interesting. I would read it. Let me know when you decide to write, please.
