Someone needed to reach out and bridge the distance. Take one small step toward fixing them. Sam wanted to help, do one thing right that would make Dean feel better instead of worse.

Reason dictated they move past this as quickly as possible and stay focused on the fate of the world. Still, the offer had been extended and for some vague cause he couldn't justify, Dean cracked open the door.

Yes, I think we can all agree, we miss that closeness and hopefully Kripke will find a way to bring them back together.

If the show can't give me those special moments I crave, I just have to write my own stories to fill the gap.
