I don't really like the brushes that came with gimp so I downloaded a lot more. In the interest of saving some room on my hard drive, can I delete some of the original brushes without any ramifications, ie gimp not working?
Yay, a fellow GIMP user! :D
Of course you can! The brushes that come with the original GIMP are files just like the new ones you downloaded. These files can be added and deleted, no problemo. In fact, I've done the same thing, and as of yet I haven't had any problems with my GIMP. So go for it!
P.S. A good way to make sure that no problems occur is to move the files to a different folder, like My Documents, and then starting up GIMP. If the program runs smoothly, you can delete the files. If not, just move the files back. Hope that helps!
Thanks!! BTW, LOVE your sig. It's hilarious! *sings* And do the jitterbug! *snaps fingers*
