ok, I know it was years ago, but I was watching Supernatural from the start the other day, and in the first episode, Pilot, Dean grabs a Metallica cassette, but Highway to Hell by ACDC starts playing. Why is that? It is driving me cazy!
So, if anybody would know, please tell me!
Metallica either refused to allow their music to be used or they wanted too much money. I forget which one. So instead of reshooting the scene, they just changed the music. Don't expect to ever hear Metallica or Led Zeppelin on the show.

I've thought about Zeppelin and I wonder if they will allow for any songs next year. I have a feeling we're going to hear at least one Zep song in the series finale. I would love it.
Led Zeppelin is my all-time favorite band. I'd love to hear them sometime on my all-time favorite show. :D
