Summary- While John is out of town for a few days, Dean forces his younger siblings to attend their school's traditional bonfire. After Dean parked the impala in a spot, both of my brother's got out of the front but I didn't move. I stayed right where I was sitting with my crossed against my chest and my eyes never leaving the back of the passenger seat that was in front of me. I heard my door being opened and than Sam's voice,
gC'mon Alex, we don't have all night.h
gYou guys know, I don't wanna be hereh I pouted.
gWe knowh Dean put in gBut you're here now.h
gDad wouldn't go for thish I said.
gDad's not here now, is he? So you might as well embrace this night offh Dean remarked coolly.
gIf I get drunk, you two will have to suffer the consequences.h
gWhatever, lets go. The ladies are waiting for meh.
I climbed out of the car and I slammed the door shut which made Dean wince.
gHey, watch ith he shot at me when he turned around.
gToo bad, that car of yours is gonna get more that when this night is throughh I growled.
gHey!h
gPaybacks a bitch, isn'th I replied before headed towards the traditional party on the beach.
As I reached the beach, I could hear the blasting music and roaring laughter and shouts of the other teenagers.
gOkay, I'll come get you two when it's time for us to goh Dean said into our ears before he took off.
gIf you want, you can stay with me and my friendsh Sam suggested.
gIt's okay Sam, but I would rather be alone. Besides, it must be a pain to have your little sister around all the time. Thanks anyway though.
gIf you're sure. Just don't do something that I wouldn't do.h
I just smiled at him before left to find his friends.
The beach was full of students from the school, some of them were laughing, dancing to the music, or trying to talk over the music but all of them had one thing in common, they all held beer cans in their hands. By the way some of them were acting, I could tell that they were drunk. I twisted and turned my body in directions and ways like a snake to make my way through the large crowd to the other side where the shore was. There was a huge bonfire in the middle of sand and away from the water, it was as wide as a car and as tall as a full-grown tree. I could feel the heat as I went through the maze of drunk and dancing students but I was stopped by someone when I few meters away out of the crowd.
When I turned around, I found that my arm was grabbed by a dunk senior student. With the hand that held my wrist, he pulled me towards him and kept me pressed against his body with the same arm since his other hand held the familiar beer can. As he leaned towards me, I could smell the awful smell of alcohol on his already nasty smelling breath.
gHey Babeh he slurred in my ear gHow 'bout a dance?h
gI don't think soh I replied before I pushed him way from me but he held firm.
gC'mon, just one dance...an' maybe a kiss too?h he slurred and tried to press me closer to his body but I kept fighting. I could've easily taken him out but he was too drunk, if I did I would've killed him. I fought to get out of this hold but no matter how hard I fought to get loose, he held onto me tighter and I began to protest vocally as well when he leaned down to kiss me but it wasn't until another guys voice interrupted us, the familiar voice that I wished I would hear.
gLet her go.h
gWhat's your problem, man?h the drunk teen slurred gWe were about to kiss.h
gI don't believe she wanted a kiss for you because she was pushing you way.h
When I looked to where the voice was coming from, I found Danny standing a few feet away with a deathly look in his eyes. He stalked over to us and twisted the guys hand that held the can and without any hesitation, he let go of me. Danny kept twisting the guys wrist as he fell on his knees.
gDanny, stop!h I yelled as I placed a hand on his right shoulder and a hand on his left arm, since it was the arm that held the guys wrist gDanny, you're going to hurt him.h
Instantly, he let go of his wrist and they guy fell on his butt. I would've laughed but I was too shaken too. Danny than guided me away from him.
The light from the fire slowly faded as Danny guided me away from it and away from the party to a nice quiet place where the two of could be alone in peace.
gAre you okay, Alex?h
gHuh?h I responded as I turned my attention to look at him. He had his arm wrapped around my waist as he held me close to his side as we walked down the shore.
gI asked if you were okay.h
gOh...uh. Yeah, yeah. I'm fine.h
gYou sure? You're shaking.h
gI guess I'm a little shook up. I mean, that has never happened to me before. I know I could have taken him out but I could've really hurt him if I did, and I didn't know what else to do...h I trailed off, I knew I was babbling.
gIt's okay now Alex, that creep isn't here anymoreh he told me gently as he sat me down on a large rock.
gI know. It's just...h I shivered at the thought of him touching me and kissing me, flashed through my mind.
Danny ran his fingers through my hair in what seemed like comfort but I didn't know who it was for more. Me or him.
gThank youh I said after a minute of silence of us looking at each other.
gYou're welcomeh he replied was a warm smile.
His smile took away the fear I felt from what just happened. I smiled a small one too as I pushed some hair behind my left ear with the same hand before I reached down and took off my shoes and socks.
gC'monh I said as I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the water. I felt like I was a little girl again. The little girl that dragged my brothers back the way we came when I saw a cute puppy in the window of a pet store.
gWhat are you doing?h he laughed as he let me bring over to the edge of the sand.
gI've always wanted to do this, ever since I read about beaches in books.h
gYou've never been to a beach?h
gNot that I can remember.h
I seated myself on the soft sand, just far enough for me to lay down and my feet to be in the water. Danny sat down next to me and he too took off his boots and socks before he placed them next to mine. I looked at our feet, his made mine look so small and fragile but he was the one who needed a pedicure, not me. Neither of us, said a word. The only sound belonged to the nocturnal animals near the beach, the soft crashing of the waves, that reminded me of a folder scraping against another, as it touched our feet and the faded music a few yards away. I laid down on my back, the sand was cold enough for me to feel it through my shirt.
The two of us stayed quiet as we listened to the sounds around us. Night had fallen hours before my brothers and I got here, so the pitch black sky was filled with bright stars and the moon shone like the sun in the night sky and it's light reflected off of the ocean water. I was sure that Danny could hear the thudding of my heart with his vampire hearing.
gYou know, if I could sleep I would just by the sound of your heartbeath Danny breathed as he looked up at the night sky with fascination.
I pushed myself up on my elbows gDanny, how did you know that I was in trouble?h I suddenly asked.
It was almost another minute before he looked away at the sky to turn his head towards me.
gA feeling. It was just a feeling, that's all.h
gWhat kind of feeling?h
gIt was like Spiderman's spider-sense.h
gSpiderman? Danny, I didn't know you knew superheroes.h
gWhat did you think I did for the past century while I had to repeat the twelfth grade over and over again?h he asked as sat up like him.
gI dunno, I never really thought about it. Read? Paint? Drink blood?h
Danny chuckled gThere's lots to do besides that and you'll experience it all after Prom.h
gWhy can't you change me now, I mean Prom is coming up in a few weeks-h

gIt's too early. I want you to experience everything of a human teenager before I take that away. Besides, I want to make sure this it what you want because what I bite you there's no going back.h

Danny's eyebrows curved into one as he got a look of concern on his face gAre you cold?h
gI little bith I admitted.
gAlex, why didn't you tell me you were coldh he scold at me as he took off his black leather jacket and placed on my shoulders before he pulled me against him.
As the seconds, minutes and possibly the hours ticked by, I stayed curled up in Danny's arms with my arms through the sleeves of his leather jacket and were also resting up on his chest. His own arms were wrapped around my waist and his chin rested on the top of my head. I loved the feeling of his body pressed against mine and I didn't care how cold it was. I wanted to stay like this for all eternity. Suddenly, Danny got to his feet.
gDannyh I whined when his body left mine.
gC'monh he chuckled a little bit as he helped me to my feet.
gWhat are you doing?h
He didn't say anything at first but bowed a little bit before he straightened up once more.
I cocked an eyebrow gWhat in the world?h
He held out a hand to me asked me to dance.
I didn't answer at first because I was trying to figure out what caused him to get an idea like that. Than my ears caught it, music and it was coming from the party. But I didn't really like the kind of song it was.
gMe, slow dance? Danny you know that I can't dance.h
gYou can stand on my feet thanh he replied as he kept his hand out.
With a sigh, I placed a hand in his. His fingers curled around my small and delicate hand before he pulled me forward and placed me on his feet. I tried not to put a lot of weight on my feet so it wouldn't hurt him but he told me to just relax so that's what I did.
The two of us swayed to the soft and gentle music as he twirled us around in a small circle in the sand. I hand one hand on his shoulder and my other in one of his while his other rested on my hip. We didn't say anything, just let the music guide our bodies. I wasn't really listening to the music, I was too focused on how our bodies were moving and his eyes. I didn't know that the song ended until Danny stopped moving.
I looked up at him as he leaned down a little bit and told me that he loved me before her pressed our lips together in a passionate kiss. The kiss was soft at first before I opened my lips to allow him to deepen it, which he did without any hesitation. How tongues explored each other mouths before they began to fight for dominance. As our tongues danced around and along each others, Danny's other hand came to rest on the other side of my hip and my own hands came to rest on his jaw line. It was the most amazing kiss I have ever had. I never wanted it to end but he did, when he felt that I was taking in anymore air through my nose.
gAlex, you have to stop doing that.h
gDoing what?h
gStop breathing.h
gI'm sorry but I can't help that I just...stop breathingh I sighed.
gIt's okay. It's just that you scare me when you do that.h
gOh, I don't mean to scare youh I apologized as I wrapped my arms around him.
gIt's alrighth he replied as he killed the top of my head.
Suddenly, the sound of my Sam's voice cut off our special quiet moment.
gOver here!h I called back as I pulled away from my vampire boyfriend gI'd better go.h
gOkay, I'll see you laterh he replied before we shared one more passionate kiss.
gAlex!h Sam called again gC'mon, Dean's waiting by the car. Hey Daniel.h
gHi Sam, did you have a fun time?h my boyfriend answered.
He nodded gYup, we have to go. Dean's mad cause a girl turned him down.h
gHe went after a smart girl, huh?h I voiced.
gYeah, that obvious yeah. See you later Daniel.h
gBye guysh Danny called at us as me and Sam began to walk back to the car.
When Sam thought that we were out of Danny's earshot he said gGlad you came tonight?h
gNight wasn't that badh I shrugged gYou haven't changed your mind about blackmailing me?h
Sam chuckled gNot a chance, little sister.h
gI hate youh I huffed as I crossed my arms against my chest again.
gI know you do. It's your job too hate me.h
As Dean drove us back home, I suddenly realized that I still had Danny's jacket on. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I gave it back to him on Monday, after all he really didn't need it-he was a vampire.
