The Winchester Tale

A/N: Mary and a sister will be in this fic.


Chapter 1

16 Year-Old Colby stormed through the living room slamming doors and grumbling. Her Mom noticed this and stopped her before she went outside.

“Sweetheart what’s wrong?”

“Having over-protective, annoying brothers!”

“Colby they just care about you”

“Mom if Dean doesn’t stop prying I am gonna kill him”

“Sit down honey and tell me what he did.” They sat. “Mom remember the guy Alec that works at the store down the street?” Mary nodded. “Well Dean the Idiot went to my Msn conversation I had with him and said that I was interested in him and liked him a lot”

“Honey what’s wrong with that?”

“Mom I don’t like him that way we are just friends and now I bet he has his hopes up that we will get together!” Colby did like Alec but only as a friend for now. “Stupid brothers!” Colby got up before her mom got another word out and slammed the door shut and went for a walk. Dean came down a short while after and slapped her 28 year old son.

“God woman abuse!”

“Knock it down Dean”

“What I never did a thing”

“Dean stop prying into Colby’s life she will move on when she is ready you know how the break-up between her and Scott affected her she is not ready to move onto another guy.”

“Sorry Mom.”

“I am not the one who you have to apologize to, its your sister, she just walked out and I bet you can find her at the dock.” Dean got up and left to go find his sister. “Dean if you only knew what really happened to her and what happened to Scott.” Mary whispered when he left out the door.


Ok I know its short but I wanted to post this chappie to see what you guys think if you like chapter 2 will be much longer.

Chapter 2

Dean was driving for about 20 minutes when he finally got to the fisherman dock, he got out and seen a form of a girl laying down he knew it was Colby so he went over and sat by her.

“What do you want Dean haven’t you annoyed and hurt me enough today?” Dean flinched at her tone. “I mean after you seen what I went through with Scott you might have known well enough to leave my love life alone!”.

“Colby I’m sorry I didn’t know, I know what you went through with Scott-”

“No Dean you don’t know!” She faced him eyes full of tears and anger. “Only Mom and Dad knew what I went through you weren’t here, you were at a freaking bar and Sam was out with friends, and I was breaking up with the guy I cared about, you know nothing of what happened between us!.” Dean was freaking out he never seen his sister this hurt.

“Tell me what happened Colby so I can understand” She turned to her brother.

“Ok.” She wiped her tears. “That night me and Scott went to a dance with all of our friends, you were at a bar and Sammy was gone out it was only Mom and Dad home. It was our 3 month anniversary so we decided we would go out, when we got there I left my purse outside in the car so I told him to go on ahead.”

Flashback 6 months ago

Colby was getting her purse out of the car and heading back to the dance at the center, when she entered she couldn’t find her boyfriend of 3 months, they both cared deeply for each other. Colby wandered around for a few more minutes, when she went to the table with food what she saw broke her heart, Scott was kissing another girl.

“SCOTT!!” He jumped at the sound of Colby’s voice and watched her stomp over, the girl he was kissing ran off.

“What the hell are you doing?” Her eyes filling with tears.

“Colby”

“No don’t you Colby me you asshole, why the hell are you kissing another girl when I am your girlfriend!” With that she slapped him across the face and busted his lip.

“Colby please listen to me” He called out to her as he followed her outside into the parking lot. “Colby she threw herself at me, she told me she loved me and wanted to be with me!.”

“Really?! You never bothered to tell her you had a girlfriend you just went ahead and cheated on me, Scott I love you or I thought I did.” Scott began to get tears. “I mean from what I saw you didn’t even try to push her off”

“Colby, I love you please, I’m so sorry”

“We sorry doesn’t cut it, you hurt me to much I can’t deal with this, I’m sorry Scott but its over go be with the tramp!” Colby yelled as she began to walk home. “COLBY!” He yelled but all he got was loud sobs from her retreating form.”

End Flashback

Dean’s heart broke as he watched his sister tell the story. “Two days after the police reported him missing no one saw him afterwards, but after a week I got a phone call from his mother saying that they found his body in the backyard of the center, he overdosed on sleeping pills, they found a note saying “Colby I’m sorry but the pain from you leaving was too much to bear”, I didn’t go to his funeral I never said goodbye because I knew it was my fault.” Dean was lost for words he pulled his sister into a huge hug while she cried hard into his shoulder. “Its not your fault, you didn’t know he would do this”

“Dean I should have listened more to him instead I walked away”

“Yeah but Colby” He held her face in his big hands. “You never could have known he would kill himself.” Colby hugged Dean tight as the two stayed there for a little while until the sun went down, Dean comforted his sister until she would feel better. A good 15 minutes later they were walking back to the house Colby on her big brother’s back.

“Mom we’re home”. Dean announced as he opened the door. “You better have supper ready I’m starving.” Dean your always hungry, I never thought I would give birth to a pig.” Mary said as Colby laughed and Dean went up the stairs grumbling. “Colby are you okay sweetie?”

“Yeah Mom I am gonna be okay” Mary hugged and kissed her daughter and they both went to make some supper for the men of the house.

Chapter 3

During that night the Winchester Family decided that they need some family time together so John decided to book a trip to Laguna beach for a weekend since the weather was supposed to be good, so it was now the mourning that they were leaving and Colby was being late.

“Colby get your ass out of the bed!!”. Dean yelled in her ear which made her snap awake and fall out of her bed. “Jerk” Was all she said before her parents made her get ready so after an hour they were loaded in the car and on the way.

“Dean if you don’t stop pushing me I will bite your arm off!!” Colby was playing her DS and Dean was pushing her so she wouldn’t pass the level. “Dean!” He pushed her again and again. “Ok that’s it” Colby grinned evilly, she rolled down the window pushed his head out. “COLBY!” He yelled but just as she let his head in a gull passed along and dropped droppings on his hair. “MY HAIR!!! COLBY!!”

“KIDS!”

“Sorry Dad but he deserved it” Sam was too busy laughing at the grump look on Dean’s face. Mary started to giggle. “Colby when we get to the beach your getting it”. Dean threatened she just shrugged and within another hour of driving they arrived. When they went inside their cabin it blew them away how nice it looked. “Okay kids get settled in your rooms we have a beach waiting for us” John announced to everyone. After they got settled they were all on the beach setting up in their spot , John and Mary wanted a spot alone while the three siblings shared a spot.

“Hey guys I am going for a swim”. Colby said to her brothers and they watched her run and dive into the water.

“Hey boys mind if we sit hear”. Sam and Dean turned around to the voice and smiled at who was also staying there. “Hey Uncle Rick”. Rick Winchester was John’s brother, twin brother, and his wife was Mary’s sister, her name is Alexa. The boys gave their uncle a manly hug. “What are you guys doing here?” Rick asked Dean.

“Dad thought we need some family bonding, how bout you guys?” Rick was about to answer when they all heard screaming and everyone running out of the water, that’s when they heard it. “SHARK!!!” John, Mary and Alexa and Alexa’s daughter Riley. “Where’s Colby?!” Mary shouted.

“She was in the water but I can’t find her.”

“Ok lets split up, we cover more beach since everyone else left the beach” Dean and Sam and Riley ran up to the north of the beach to try and find her. “Colby!!! Answer me?!!” Riley shouted.

“Dean what if. If?”

“No don’t say that she is smart like you she is gonna be ok” Dean assured his cousin. They continued to walk along the beach. Meanwhile with Rick and John, they took the south side while Mary. “John there is no sign of her anywhere, maybe she got out and is back with Mary by now.” John nodded and they headed back,

Dean and his group were walking for another hour at least for another hour. “Dean lets head back and see if they found her.” They were about to head back when they heard a splash and a red pool of blood surfaced in the water. “COLBY!!!” Dean yelled.
