Ok I had an idea for a little fan fic experiment and was wondering if anyone would be interested in getting on board.

I'm calling it the Hunters' Chronicle

The idea is somewhat a cross between fan fiction, original fiction, and roleplaying. I want to get a bunch of writers together for this experiment. I call it an experiment because I'm not sure how it's going to work out.

Each writer is responsible for the stories of a single hunter or hunting team. These could be orignal characters, established hunters from the show, or characters from the show that may have become hunters after their encounter with the brothers.

Each writer submits a story about that their adventure of the week. What case they had difficulties they faced whatever. You can skip weeks (even months) as long as you take that into account in some way in the story (maybe saying things were dead or you've been swamped like they do on the show).

You can write the story in whatever format you want it could be a narrative, journal entry, letter to someone, whatever you can imagine. They can also be any length wanted. It all is up to the writer. In fact the differing formats would add flavor to the experiment.

Each writer can only have one hunter or team that they work on.

No one can choose a character that is already dead according to cannon. If the character is cannon you must stick with cannon about them. This includes if they come back on the show and get killed.

To claim a you must contact me. If it is a cannon hunter you only need to claim them. If they are cannon but were not a hunter you need to explain why & how you think they became a hunter rather then trying to pretend life is normal. If it is a non-cannon character I need a short background so I can make sure it's not too similar to a character architype we already have.

The character can not be Ruby, Evil, an Angel we've seen so far, Sam, Dean, or Bobby. Those are off limits because they are too difficult to write for and not get Kripked. They are just too much a part of the current story line on the show.

This will be done in real time. Meaning that just like the show airs about when the boys go thru what happens as far as dates the stories will be done to match with the current week in real time. So if it's winter it's winter in the story.

Crossover information: The stories can not be crossed over with characters from other shows. This could get very confusing. So all writers need to stick to just the SN universe. You can have a character in a story that is an awful lot like a character from another show if you want as long as it fits with canon. Also writers can and are encouraged to team up from time to time. Have their hunter or hunter team end up on a case with another writers team. This will make them more connected. Also they can team up with characters on the Don't List from time to time as well. I only ask that they contact me with the story concept and dates they want the Don't character for. These dates for the brothers must be during re-run time so it doesn't overlap with the show and create a rift in time and space. And for characters like Bobby or Castiel it can not be when they are going to be on the show. Also I will have to give aproval so that I can cordinate the use of those characters so they don't end up in 2 stories at the same time. Of course if there is a reason or connection with those characters the writers can at any time include a phone call to them. They can also include a phone call to any other characters (fro others writers) if they want at any time. Just connact the other writer to make sure it's ok. Phone calls are cool because they won't cause a major problem since they are short and not going to cause conflict with cannon for anyone.

So that's the basic idea. I am also going to be conntacting a few of my friends and favorite writers personally to see if they are interested. But if anyone else is interested please reply here or PM me. I do want the stories to be posted here in this community so that they are more accessable to everyone. So we won't be making our own forum for this.
