I was just thinking we should have a list of top 100 fanvids of all time (for SPN)... so nomiate your favorites!

I am thinking we should keep nominations open until the end of summer, and when SPN returns* in the fall, we will start voting...

I am thinking, if everyone agrees, to also have categories or whatever like "best originial pairing" or "best SN crossover vid" or something along those lines...let me know what you think...

also, please keep the nominations coming!

I was going to nominate one by GentleSideofFury for the song The Bird and the Worm by the Used, but I went to get the URL and the vid was claimed by evil copyright people! So I mailed and asked if she planned on reposting it anywhere. I'm waiting on a reply.

I am thinking it may be best to put the vids under categories... to either add up to 100, or 100 under each category...

Let me know your thoughts on that, and please, keep the nominations coming! We need a minimum of 100, and with all the videos out there, I think we can do it... :D

Oh man, can't even decide, Jessicarae's been mentioned already, and I agree--her vids are pretty awesome. Another vidder I LOVE is wolfpup2000. Check them out, seriously.

She's obviously a Dean girl, but I think everyone can appreciate them. Her video "Bitch" was featured at the last SN convention, "Never Meant to Fail" breaks my heart, "Secret Agent Man" made me smile, and "A Little Less Conversation" is just freakin' hot.

Anyone of those deserve to be on this list, but "Watch Over You" is the best IMO, very moving and the song fits so well. It focuses on and emphasizes the bond between the brothers and made me tear up.

I also really like Lsketch42's vids. I would nominate "All in a Day's Work" (want to show someone what Supernatural's all about? Show them this--it shows the process of several hunts and an overall gist of what it is that our boys do best ;)) and "My Guardian" (sort of the "Sam" version of wolfpup's "Watch Over You" which is linked above).

1. HUMOR. "Supernatural (In My Pants)" by deirdrecee (Youtube).

Assuming you've seen the SNL original with the song...hands-down the funniest SPN humor vid I've favorited on Youtube. Also very, very well-constructed - best viewed in HQ!

2. SERIOUS. "S2 Theatrical Trailer" by StygianFilms (Youtube).

Great Sammy focus. Love the ominous BUABS cackle at the end. Very intense and dramatic and absolute professional quality. VIEW ALL THREE OF THESE IN HQ WITH STEREO SOUND.

3. SERIOUS. "S1 Theatrical Trailer" by StygianFilms.

Soundtrack from "28 Days Later." My personal favorite of StygianFilms' three trailers. I show this one to friends who want to know what SPN is all about.

4. SERIOUS. "S3 Theatrical Trailer" by StygianFilms.

Intense about Dean's deal. I am in SERIOUS love with 2:10 - 2:25. Epic.
