Title: Limping Sam in everybody loves a clown.

darthnikki - December 28, 2008 04:50 PM (GMT)
I was re-watching this episode the other night and I noticed that after they dump the gorgeous car they borrowed from Bobby, (ahem) as they're walking down the road, Sam's limping. Was he doing it on purpose or had he actually hurt himself? I know its a weird question, but couldn't help but wonder especailly after he did an entire episode with a broken wrist!!!! Gotta admire the guy for that alone. There aren't alot of people who would do that these days.

Also totally different thing here but I love the consistency in supernatural, in an episode where they've been hurt, in the next episode they still have faint bruising, unless its set alot later than the last episode. In eveybody loves a clown they still have bruising from the previous episode. I know its sad but I love that. That they keep it up, and also that their clothes are re-worn over and over, unlike in some shows where they have a different outfit every week!!!

There are many, many reasons why I love this show and if I listed them all I'd be here till next christmas.lol. But the main reason is the two guys. I love um they're both excellant. Great show, great story, great writing, great acting.........okay am going to be quiet now......

I never noticed that before. I think I'm going to force myself to rewatch this episode.

I think it's just Jared's way of walking, have you seen scarecrow when Sam is walking away from Dean and the impala?

Jordann - December 29, 2008 02:06 AM (GMT)
yeah, maybe he has a limp anyway?
or it's his stylish swagger XD
but i've noticed that in a few episodes too.
and i'm a suck for consistency, i can't stand shows that aren't consistent when it comes to the little things.

darthnikki - December 29, 2008 07:21 AM (GMT)
You really think its the way he walks?? How strange!! lol, well whatever rubs your buddha I suppose. I'll have to watch scarecrow now and check out his walk..lol..Sigh, all these reasons to watch supernatural over and over again. Its torture, it really is. I mean I'm in hell, can a girl cope with this much of a heavy burden?? Alas it is a cross I shall have to bear, and all in the name of research!!!!!

Yup. I love the make up continuity in the first eps of S2. The boys never seem to get facial injuries that last for more than a couple of scenes nowadays. ?Budget cuts again perhaps?

I also noticed Sams limp on occason. Think it's just his gait, when he's tired maybe.

Um guys? dont you remember he was in a car wreck, before they got to hospital, think he had hurt his leg or sometiong. I totally agree on that, its o unrealistic when character is hurt and then nect eppie or whatever there perfectly fine  Yet why I lvoe sn, they keep ther war wounds (and looks so adorable in them too! )

Jordann - December 30, 2008 08:04 AM (GMT)
he was in a carwreck?!
dude, when was that?

At the end of Devil's Trap. Crushed by the semi, remember?

justannanow - December 31, 2008 09:28 PM (GMT)
I think it's Jared natural gait. A lot of really tall guys walk a little strangely. I'm guessing because they have really long legs and because they're always trying to match the pace of smaller people.

oh, we're talking about THAT carcrash.
yeah, i try to forget that one.

and my boyfriend walks with a bit of a limp, he's 6"6.
maybe it does have something to do with height?
he could possibly have one leg that's slightly longer than the other.

Yes, I didn't like that. I mean, they looked like very deep cuts on their faces, but that could've been the illusion of the lots and lots of blood but the next episode, I thought they should've at least had a scratch.

Yeah it was at the time he was filming the movie "Flight of the Phoenix". I dont remember how it went, but he talked about it at one of the cons.

As for limping Sam in ELAC, I never noticed that. I'll have to go back and look.

He also talked about it when he was on Ellen. He rolled the car and he said that when he got out he thought he was dead! LOL :rotfl
