Description: Sam's soul is taken captive by a demon
Kara - September 24, 2008 05:02 AM (GMT)
Okay, I had this new idea that was just going through my mind all day so I decided it would be fun to try two stories at the same time. So here goes.
PROLOUGE
Felicia and Billy walk slowly down the road. She holds her sweater close as Billy struggles to keep up with her. "Look, I said I was sorry," he snaps. He grabs her arm. Turning to him Felicia slaps him. Billy turns back to her as he presses his palm against the side of his face.
"You swore to me that you wouldn't try that," she snaps. "How could you?"
"I got carried away," Billy says. Felicia shakes her head slowly. Rain slowly begins to fall around them.
"I'll walk home," she says. Billy watches her storm down the street.
"FINE!" He shouts storming back to the car. He slides into the black mustang and shuts the door. Turning the key the engine makes a loud hiss then goes dead. "Come on!" he snaps turning the key again. The hiss is heard again only this time it's not coming from the engine. Slowly Billy turns to the back seat. He screams in terror as blood is splattered against the windows of the car.
Felicia jerks back to the sounds of screams. She quickly races back to the car and stops. "Billy?" she whispers. The car engine comes to life. "Billy? What are you doing?" she whispers. The tires spin loudly kicking up smoke and debris. She steps back in horror as she sees Billy staring at her from inside the car. Blood is covering the windows and seats in the car around him. "Billy?" Felicia whispers in concern. Suddenly the car speeds forward striking Felicia and throwing her to the ground with a loud thud. The car comes to a stop several feet away. Felicia remains lifeless on the ground as Billy is slumped over in the driver's seat. Slowly a shadow slides from the car and walks over to Felicia. He takes her leg and drags her from the road and into the darkness of the woods.
CHAPTER ONE
Dean sighs loudly as he takes a bite of his bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. "Sammy, this is the best, you have to try it!" Dean says taking another bite. The taste of bacon and eggs tasted even better at midnight on a wednesday night. Sam stares at his older brother as he holds the cup of cold coffee in his hands. Dean stares at him. "What?" he says. The waitress walks over and pours some coffee in his cup. "I just got back from Hell, I deserve some good food!" Dean snaps. The waitress looks at him and smiles.
"What were you in jail for?" she asks.
"Made a deal!" Dean says continuing to stare at Sam.
"Those cops will bust you for that," she says walking away slowly. Dean looks over at her and grins. With a sigh Dean sits back in the chair.
"So what's up?" Dean asks.
"Apparently a guy struck his girlfriend and was killed in the process. They apparently had a fight, so the cops think because she was walking," Sam says staring at the computer screen.
"Where is this place at?" Dean asks.
"A few miles down the road," Sam says shutting the computer. Dean nods and turns to the waitress.
"More coffee please!" he calls to the waitress. He turns back to Sam. "It's going to be a long night!" he says grabbing the rest of his sandwich and rising. Sam slides his computer in his bag and rises. He walks from the resturant as Dean grabs the cups of coffee.
Dean stares ahead silently as he drives the impala down the miles of dark road. He sends a worried glance over to Sam who is sitting silently in the passenger seat staring silently out the window. "What's the matter?" he asks. Sam looks over at him.
"It's nothing," he whispers. Sam turns back to the window as Dean stares back out the windshield. Sam turns back to Dean ready to talk. "When are you going to tell me what happened in Hell?" he snaps. Dean looks at him surprised.
"I don't remember anything," he says. Sam sits back in his seat annoyed. "Why are you so interested?" Dean asks. Dean turns back in time to see a black furred creature in the road. He slams on the brakes. The creatures rises to the size of a human as the the impala skids to a hault several feet away. The creature quickly leaps into the woods. "What was that?" Dean snapped. Sam quickly gets out of the car. Shoving the door open Dean quickly gets out and rushes to the trunk of the car. Sam already has the sawed off shot gun and a silver knife. Quickly Dean slams the trunk lid and follows Sam into the woods.
The woods are quiet. Fog slowly shifts through the ferns on the forest bed. Sam steps through the wet leaves slowly with the gun in hand. He jerks back as the creatures speeds past him. Dean races over. "I think it may be a wendigo!" he whispers. The creature flies past them and into the tree.
"Wendigo with wings?" Sam whispers. The creature shifts through the trees and lands on the wet grass near by. Sam turns back as the creature races for the edge of the forest. He quickly follows.
"Sam wait!" Dean shouts chasing after his brother. Sam quickly gains cover on the creature. He sees the sleak black wings on the monster's back. The creature burst through the trees unto the highway. Sam chases after it. "SAMMY STOP!" Dean shouts. Sam races into the road and jerks back as a speeding car strikes him. Sam is thrown through the air and slammed against the wet pavement. Sam's head hits the ground as his body rolls over unto the gravel on the side of the road. The car continues down the street and disappears. "SAMMY!" Dean shouts racing to the road. He stops seeing Sam's motionless body laying on the side of the road. Sam's arm is twisted in an unatural position. The gun is laying on the other side of the road. "SAMMY!" He shouts racing over and kneeling beside him. His eyes are shut and blood is slowly draining from his mouth, nose and ears. Dean feels his brother's neck for a pulse. "Someone help!" he shouts glancing around. The road is dead silent, no signs of life. He pulls out his cell phone but sees that his phone is dead. He turns back to his brother and watches him in fear and silence as the fog slowly begins to drift from the trees and over the highway. "Sammy!" he shouts as the wind slowly drifts his cry through the darkness of the woods surrounding the stretch of road.

CHAPTER TWO
Dean sits forward slowly in the waiting room. He stares at his blood covered hands. He struggles to hold back in the tears as he slowly wipes the blood off his a towel. He removes the towel slowly the blood is still there. He glances up as Bobby appears at the door. Bobby stares at Dean in shock. His shirt and jacket are covered in blood. "What on earth happened?" Bobby asks. Dean obviously shakened.
"We were hunting this weird bat creature, Sam chased it, he got hit by a car," Dean whispers.
"Dean!" Bobby whispers. "Any news?" Dean shakes his head slowly. Slowly Bobby nods. He walks over to Dean. Dean slowly hands him the colt. Bobby stares at the gun in his hand.
"I should've shot it while I had a chance," Dean whispers. "Just take the gun away," he whispers feeling as though he had failed. Bobby slowly takes the gun and places it in his coat as the doctor appears at the door. Dean looks over slowly feeling his heart stop. "Doctor?" he whispers walking over.
"Right now your brother is in a coma," the doctor. "He took a massive blow to the head. There is a lot of bleeding and a lot of swelling in his brain," he says softly.
"What are his chances?" Bobby asks.
"I don't expect him to live through the night," the doctor says. "I'm sorry." Dean slowly sits down in the chair. He stares at the floor. There was no way to make another deal, he would, but deep down inside he knew Sam wouldn't want that.
After taking several minutes to compose himself he walked the short distances to Sam's room. He stops at the partially opened door and looks in. Sam is laying unconscious on the bed, his brown hair was covered by a white bandage. Machines surround the bed, each beeping loudly. A blue tube runs from the machine and down Sam's throat. Stepping closer Dean can see dark bruises covering the side of Sam's face that had slammed against the pavement. Dean stares at him silently. "Sammy!" he whispers fighting against the tears. He walks over to the bed and stares down at Sam.
The fog slowly settles, clearing itself from the pavement. Slowly Sam stirs as his cheek is rested against the cool damp pavement. Slowly he opens his eyes with a gasp. Sam slowly lifts his head gasping for air. He glances around and finds himself still laying in the road. Forcing himself up he sees that the area is completely deserted. "Dean?" he whispers rising slowly. Glancing around he sees black marks on the road leading towards the hills near by. "DEAN!" he calls glancing around frantically. There's a loud rustle in the trees near by. Sam jerks back as the trees sway in the distances. There's a loud swoosh as a tree closer to him sways violently. Standing motionless Sam suddenly fears where he is and how he got there. "Dean!" he calls glancing around slowly. Wondering where the impala had gone he slowly walks down the road following the black tire marks in the road, indicating a car speeding away in desperation. Sam stops hearing a car speeding through. "Hey!" he calls seeing headlights speeding towards him. The car flies through. Sam dives out of the road as the car speeds on by without stopping. Sam glances over and watches as the car disappears into the night.
Sam slowly picks himself up, wiping the mud and wet leaves from his shirt. He glances back hearing the sound of growling from the darkness. "Who's there?" he calls. He feels his pockets for a knife or a gun. But neither was hidden. Sam slowly steps towards the woods. "Hello?" he calls. "Look, I'm lost! Can you direct me towards town?" he calls. He stops seeing something sitting in the tree. He watches the black wings tuck behind the creatures back as it sits perched on the tree. "Who are you?" Sam calls. Suddenly the wings jerk open, they are several feet wide and about four feet in height. The creature dives down from the tree and lands on the ground in front of Sam. It stalks towards him on all fours, it's claws long and sharp. The claws dig deep in the ground as it runs towards him. Sam turns quickly and races through the woods as the creature leaps back into the trees.
Dean sits watching Sam's body on the hospital bed. Every few seconds the machine would beep loudly indicating his pulse was getting weaker and weaker. Bobby enters the room and walks over to the bed. Dean continues to stare at Sam with his hand around Sam's arm. "Dean, I need your help," Bobby says. Dean continues to stare at Sam silently. "Dean! Please!
"What do you need?" Dean whispers.
"I need you to describe the thing you saw,"Bobby says. Dean looks up at him.
"Sam's height, maybe taller, it had long wings on it's back," Dean begins softly.
"Wings?" Bobby says.
"They were black and slick almost like oil!" Dean says. "He had sharp claws and long fangs and blood shot eyes. We thought it was a wendigo," Dean says softly.
"Wendigo doesn't have wings," Bobby says. He pulls out a picture of a black winged creature. "Is this what you saw?" Bobby asks.
"Yeah that's it!" Dean says. Bobby groans.
"Dean, it isn't a wendigo," he says. Dean stares up at him. "It's a demon, kind of like a hellhound, only worse it finds souls and it takes them to Hell," he says. "But before it takes them it gives them a sample of Hell," Bobby says. "It holds the souls in captivity for a short time, tormenting them till they can't take anymore."
"This thing has my brother?" Dean whispers. Bobby nods.
"Yeah!" he says. Dean looks back at Sam. Sam's pulse drops again with a loud beep on the machine.
Sam races through the trees and stops out of breath. He leans back against the tree listening for any movement. He continues running towards the road. He comes to a stop at the edge of the concrete. A car comes speeding by again. Sam watches it come by, he recognizes the car. It's blue frame, crushed windshield. It's the car that car that had hit him, it's also the same car that passes every few minutes on an endless cycle. Sam glances back at the woods suddenly fearing that he was trapped in a tormenting world with no way out. He hears the loud howl of the creature inside the woods, inviting him back for another game of cat and mouse.
Okay, end of that chapter!! Hope you guys enjoy!!

CHAPTER THREE
Sam sits motionless beside the road. He listens as the creature howls in the distance inviting him in for another round. He wish he knew where he was and why Dean had left him. Sam stares forward as the creature takes a flying leap from the tree into the tall grass in front of him. It speeds wildly through the grass up to Sam. Standing quickly Sam watches the grass become still. He glances around slowly as the tall grass sways slowly in the breeze. Slowly the creature appears behind Sam. It rises slowly to it's full height, which is a few feet above Sam's height. Sam straightens in fear hearing the movement behind him. He slowly turns back and gasps in horror as the creature jumps at him.
Dean's head is rested beside Sam on the bed. He jerks awake with a gasp. Bobby, who is sitting in the corner looks over at him. "How long have I been asleep?" Dean asks.
"A few minutes," Bobby says. "Don't worry, no change." Dean stares over at Sam. Dean turns to Bobby still concerned.
"So this thing has my brother?" Dean asks. Bobby nods slowly. "What can I do to stop it?" Dean asks.
"Dean..." Bobby begins.
"How do I stop it Bobby?" Dean asks again this time with anger.
"I don't know," Bobby says shaking his head slowly. Dean rises slowly and paces beside the bed.
"Bobby, there has to be some way," Dean says. Bobby shakes his head.
"That's just it, there's nothing you can do Dean," he says. "Not without....." he stops himself from going any further. Dean watches him silently.
"Not without making a deal?" he whispers. He looks back at Sam. "I can't," he whispers. "Sam wouldn't want that," Dean says softly. Sam's skin color is deathly white as the machines continue to pump oxygen in his lungs. Dean rises slowly.
"Where are you going?" Bobby asks. Dean grabs his coat.
"Out!" Dean snaps leaving the room in a rush. Bobby watches him then turns back to Sam. He walks over slowly to Sam and gently squeezes his shoulder.
Sam sits back against the tree suddenly feeling calm and comfort wash over him from some unknown source. He feels his pulse go back to a steady pace. He slowly rests his head down on his knees just wanting to go to sleep. The sound of animals in the woods alerts him. Raising his head he sees owls and animals going about their normal business. He hears soft whispering in the trees. The voice is familiar. He rises slowly and gasps. "BOBBY!" He calls. He quickly races through the woods back to the road. "Bobby!! I'm here," he calls. The whispering continues. Sam stops seeing that he was deeper in the woods. The whispering becomes more clear.
"You have to come back," Bobby says softly. "You have to fight it." Sam listens as he looks around slowly.
"Bobby, help me!" he shouts. He slowly falls to his knees. "Please...please" he whispers as he leans forward and presses his face into his hands.
Dean floors the gas as he drives down the road. He stares ahead silently. A mix of emotions comes through his brain as he stares blankly at the road. He should've stopped Sam from running into the road, he should've been able to protect him and now he was going to die. Dean fights back tears as the impala speeds faster down the road. Finally Dean slows and pulls off the road and parks the car. "Sammy....Sammy, I'm so sorry," he whispers. He shuts his eyes as he leans against the steering wheel. Suddenly static comes over the radio. Dean stares at it in fear. He reaches into the back of the car and pulls out the colt. He quickly gets out and shuts the door. The head lights begin to flash. Cocking the gun Dean prepares himself to fire. "COME OUT!" He calls.
Sam slowly lifts his head to the sound of a voice. "SHOW YOUR SELF!" the voice shouts. Sam jerks back and rises slowly. "Come out! Come out where ever you are!" the voice calls. Suddenly Sam recognizes it.
"Dean!" Sam calls. Sam quickly races through the woods.
Dean hears movement in the trees. "Come out!" he shouts. The movement gets closer then stops. "I know you're here, come out." Dean calls aiming the gun into the woods.
Sam quickly races towards the opening of the woods. "Dean!" he calls. Suddenly he is yanked back and dragged across the forest floor. Twigs and limbs cut his arm and face. He comes to a stop as the creature lands on top of him and digs his claws into his chest. Sam screams in agony as he fights against the creature. He kicks it back and rises, nothing was going to stop him from getting to Dean. He quickly races towards the opening.
Dean slowly lowers the gun and walks back to the driver's side. He places the gun in his coat and slides into the driver's seat.
Sam continues to run hard through the woods. He stops hearing the impala engine roar to life. "No! NO DEAN!" he calls continuing through the woods. He can see the opening just ahead and the headlights reflecting on the trees. Racing hard he fights for the opening.
Putting the car in drive Dean pulls away. Suddenly static comes over the radio and the lights begin to flicker violently. Sam races into the road as Dean looks up. Dean gasps and slams on the brakes. The car comes within an inch from hitting Sam. Sam places his palms against the front of the car as he stares at Dean struggling to catch his breath. Dean stares at the bloody sight in front of him, a sight he'd thought he would never see again.
Okay, end of this chapter!!! hope you enjoy!!

CHAPTER FOUR
Dean grips the steering wheel tightly as he stares ahead at Sam standing in front of the car. Sam slowly backs away from the front of the car. Dean shoves the door open and gets out. Sam walks over to him beaten and bloody. "Sammy?" Dean whispers. Sam stares at Dean.
"Why did you leave?" he asks.
Dean stares at him unable to answer the question. "Um...." Sam shakes his head.
"Never mind, we have to get to Bobby's, we have to figure out what this creature is" Sam says. Dean continues to stare at Sam wide eyed and in shock. Sam looks over at him as he walks to the passenger side. "What?" Sam asks. Dean shakes his head slowly. His cell phone begins to ring loudly. Pulling it out Dean presses it against his ear.
"Hello?" he says. Sam watches him. "Bobby, look I can't talk now," Dean says. "What do you mean?" he says as he stops. Sam walks over.
"Let me talk to Bobby," Sam says holding out his hand. Dean shakes his head as he pulls away.
"They can't turn it off!" Dean snaps. Sam holds out his hand.
"Let me talk to him!" Sam snaps.
Bobby paces back and forth slowly as he watches the doctor's monitor Sam's condition. "There is nothing they can do! He's too weak," Bobby says.
"I don't care, they can't turn it off!" Dean snaps over the phone. There's a rustling sound. "Stop!" Dean snaps.
Bobby grins. "Are you with someone?" he asks.
"I gotta go!" Dean says hanging up. Bobby looks down at his phone and grins. He looks back at the window leading to Sam's room. He watches them monitor his pulse and breathing.
Dean turns to Sam, annoyed but relieved. Sam watches him silently "What's going on?" Sam asks softly.
"Sam, something happened," Dean says.
"Yeah! You left, left me without a knife, without gun!" Sam snaps. "I just got jumped by that thing!"
"Sam, I didn't leave you," Dean says softly. Sam grins.
"What are you talking about," he says.
"I brought you to the hospital," Dean whispers. Sam slowly steps back several steps.
"What?" Sam whispers.
"You were hit by a car," Dean whispers.
"But I'm here, you can see me, I don't understand," Sam says shaking his head. "Dean....am I dead?" Sam whispers.
"No, you're not, you're in ICU, you're hurt bad," Dean says. Sam leans against the car slowly.
"So I'm trapped here?" Sam says looking over at Dean. Dean leans against the car beside him.
"No! I'm going to get you home," Dean says. The howl of the creature drifts through the woods as the trees sway slowly. Dean looks over at the trees in fear. "Come on," Dean says pulling Sam up and over to the driver's side. He forces Sam in the car. Sam slides into the passenger side as Dean slides into the driver's seat.
"You won't get far," Sam says. "I'm trapped on this portion of the road," Sam says.
"We'll worry about that when the time comes," Dean says slamming the door and flooring the gas. The tires spin loudly as the car speeds down the road. Sam turns back and watches the woods disappear. Dean watches in the mirror and sighs. "Looks like we're clear," he says. Sam sits back slowly and sighs as he rest his head against the head rest. Suddenly the car stalls and comes to a stop. The engine goes dead. Watching in fear Sam slowly glances back at the road. Pulling the colt from his coat Dean locks it in place and prepares himself. He jerks up at the sound of claws sliding against the metal hood of his car. Sam sinks back in fear as a black shadow comes down over the window. Suddenly the creature's arm slides through the glass not cracking it or leaving any marks. It's claws dig into Sam's chest. "SAMMY!" Dean shouts. Sam chokes loudly as the creature's claws dig deeper.
Bobby watches in the room as the doctor's fight to regain Sam's pulse. "No!" Bobby whispers shaking his head as he sees the doctor's do CPR on Sam.
Dean kicks open the door and quickly gets out. He fires the colt, the shot echoes through the dark woods. The creature quickly throws itself from the car and flies back into the woods. Dean watches it vanish into the night. He quickly returns to the car and gets in. Sam sits back in the seat fighting for air. Blood is draining from the chest wounds. "I can't do this," Sam whispers struggling for air.
"No! You're not leaving!! We're going to get there and you're going to be fine!" Dean snaps. He turns the engine again. It stalls and shuts off. The howl of the creature fills the air. Sam watches the window in fear.
"He's coming back," he whispers. "He wants me to come to him."
"NO!! Sammy fight it!" Dean shouts. Sam takes the door knob. Grabbing his shirt collar Dean forces him to look at him. "You're not doing this! I won't allow it!" he shouts. Sam struggles to stay conscious. "Sammy, please!" Dean begs. "Please!" Dean glances over and sees the creature staring at Sam through the window. Suddenly a loud swoosh can be heard over the car. The creature jerks back frantically. Dean glances up as something lands on top of the car. Sam sinks back slowly in the seat and falls into a deep sleep. His breathing returns to normal. Dean jerks back to the sound of shoes hitting the pavement. Suddenly the car's engine comes alive. Quickly throwing it in drive Dean floors the gas. He glances back in the mirror and sees Castiel standing in the road watching them disappear into the night.

CHAPTER FIVE
The sound of rain pounds loudly against the roof of Bobby's house. Dean throws open the door and leads Sam inside. Shutting the door he leads Sam over to the couch and helps him sit down. His shirt is blood soaked and his hair is wet from the rain. Dean wraps a blanket around Sam's shoulders. Sam holds the blanket close as he looks up at Dean. "You said earlier they couldn't do that, what did you mean?" Sam asks. Dean leans against the table as he looks through several books.
"Don't worry about it," Dean says. Sam rises slowly.
"They were going to turn off the machines, weren't they?" he asked. Dean looks back at Sam.
"We're going to fix this," he says.
"What if you can't?" Sam asks.
"Don't say that," Dean snaps looking back at him. Bobby enters the house and stops.
"I'm surprised you're not at the hospital," he says. Sam watches him silently. He walks over to him slowly and snaps his fingers in front of his face. Bobby continues to watch Dean without flinching. Sam stands motionless as Bobby walks over to Dean and clutches his shirt. "Your brother needs you," Bobby snaps.
"I'm doing what I can Bobby," Dean says. Bobby looks down at the books.
"This isn't helping him," Bobby says. Dean slowly looks over at Sam. Sam stares at him sadly. "Dean are you listening," Bobby snaps. Dean looks back at him.
"I have work to do," Dean whispers staring down at the book. Bobby watches him silently then turns away.
"They don't think Sam will live through another couple of hours. I'm going to stay there, come if you want," Bobby says softly without looking at him. Dean watches him walk away. He turns back to the book. He slowly lifts his eyes from the book and looks over at Sam who is staring at the window silently.
"Hey!" Dean says. Sam looks back at him. "You'll make it!" Sam nods slowly as he looks back at the window.
"He's right you know, there's not much you can do," Sam whispers. Dean stares at him.
"Hey, I don't want to hear that!" he snaps. "I'll make...." he begins then stops as Sam turns to him.
"No!" Sam snaps. "You will not make a deal. I won't let you." Dean returns to the book. He slowly sits down at the table and begins to flip through the pages.
"There has to be something I can do," he says. Sam walks over to the front of the desk and watches Dean.
"What about Castiel?" Sam asks. Dean looks at him.
"What about him?" he asks.
"Maybe he can help," Sam says. Dean shakes his head slowly. "It's worth a try," Sam says.
"Sam..." Dean begins. Sam sinks back slowly.
"What am I suppose to wait for that thing to show up here?" Sam snaps.
"Sammy, that's not what I'm saying, we'll figure this out," Dean says flipping open another book. Sam sits down slowly in the chair beside Dean. Dean stares at the book then sits back slowly. He shoots Sam an annoyed look. Sam slowly rises and walks over to the chair and looks out the window silently. Dean goes back to reading the book. "This may work," Dean says. Sam rises slowly and walks over. "It's dangerous but...it may work," Dean says.
"What does it involve?" Sam asks. Dean looks at him slowly and sighs.
"Bringing the demon here, or at the hospital, which ever you chose," Dean says.
"How am I involved in this?" Sam asks staring at Dean in fear.
"We have to bring the demon to us," Dean says. Sam nods.
"I'm waiting for what you had in mind," Sam says. Dean nods slowly.
"The demon has to completely have your soul to be able to do this," he says. Sam gasps as he sinks back slowly. Dean watches Sam rise and walk into the next room and shut the door. Dean looks back down at the back, knowing that this was the only possible way to save his brother.
Okay, end of that chapter!!!

CHAPTER SIX
Dean shuts the book slowly and rises. He turns back and stops as Castiel remains silent leaning against the wall. His eyes are locked on Dean. Dean walks away. "I did you a service," Castiel says. Dean sets the book down the turns back to him.
"You know you can do me a better service by leaving," he snaps. Castiel grins.
"It's only going to get worse," he says. Dean walks over to him.
"Then tell your God to come down and do something about it," he snaps. "Better yet, tell your God to save my brother!" Dean snaps.
"Do you not know?" Castiel says.
"Know what?" Dean asks.
"Know about your brother?" Castiel says. "He can't be saved Dean." Dean glares at him.
"Don't say that," he snaps. Castiel shakes his head slowly. "You saved him at the car," Dean snaps. Castiel turns away slowly.
"That wasn't in my control," he says.
"What do you mean?" Dean asks.
"I have a honor I must keep," Castiel says.
Dean smiles "You have a deal too huh?" he says. "That's great!" Castiel turns back to him now angry.
"I have someone higher than me," Castiel says.
"You mean God?" Dean asks.
"No," he says. "There is another being more powerful."
"Is he an angel?" Dean asks.
"SHE is a second in command," Castiel corrects him.
"Only angels would have a woman leading their army," Dean says with a soft laugh.
"She is not their leader," Castiel says staring at Dean. Dean grins. Castiel turns back to the window and stares outside. "They are in search of this one leader," he says. "Go!" Castiel says. Dean grins. "She waits!" he says. Dean slowly walks towards the door and steps outside. The breeze slowly combs through the trees. The leaves rustle gently in the night. Stepping down the steps Dean stops seeing movement in the trees. Dean looks back at the house and sees Sam sitting on the couch silently staring at the wall. Dean slowly turns back to the trees near by. He walks slowly towards the woods and stops. A white eagle is perched on a tree limb close by. It's head twist sideways as it watches Dean walk towards the woods. It chirps loudly. Dean looks forward hearing the movement get closer and quicker. Suddenly the wind and sound stop. Dean glances through the trees. "Hello?" he calls. "Show yourself!" he shouts. The sound of shoes coming up behind him causes him to jerk back. Dean gasps seeing a girl about Sam's age standing before him. "You the second in command?" he asks. The girl smiles.
"Last time I checked," she says. Her long brown hair flows past her shoulders. Her black leather coat hangs down to her waist, covering the black and tan tank top beneath it. Her jeans are worn thin. Dean smiles as he stares at her. The girl smiles. "I'm old enough to be your great, great grandmother! So don't even think it," she says. Dean's smile fades.
"So you're an angel?" he asks.
"You ask a lot of questions," she says as she circles him slowly. Dean watches her silently.
"You ordered Castiel to save my brother?" Dean asks. The girl smiles.
"First off, my name is Justice! On Earth, my name is Justine," she says. Dean nods slowly.
"Why did you do it?" Dean asks. Justine smiles as she walks over to Dean.
"I have a proposition," she whispers. Dean grins.
"I'll agree if you save my brother," he says.
"You jump in so quickly, you don't even offer to hear what I have to say?" Justine says. The white eagle chirps loudly. Justine looks over at it and nods. The eagle flies deep into the woods. "The thing that attacked your brother was a slave," she says returning her focus to Dean. "The last thing you want to do is make it angry, it'll invite more in for the attack next time."
"How do I stop it?" Dean asks.
"You know how," Justine says.
"I can't risk it," Dean says. "There's a possibility that it would take him and I couldn't get him back."
"Not if you have faith," Justine whispers. Dean looks over at her.
"What do you want?" he asks. Justine smiles.
"There's a war coming," she says. "I'll save your brother......" she smiles. "If you lead my army." Dean stares at her.
"I'm not a leader," he snaps. Justine turns to him and grins.
"You've been given a job to protect your brother, for all your life you have done that, you have been a leader since you were a child," she says. "Sam looks to you for help, he looks to you for advice, you are a leader." Dean swallows as he stares at her.
"So if I agree with this I get into Heaven?" he says. Justine smiles.
"You have to take that up with the man upstairs, I have no control over your soul," she says. Dean sighs.
"What do I have to do to save my brother?" he asks.
"So you're agreeing to this?" Justine asks. Dean thinks for a minute then nods.
"Yes!" he says. Justine smiles.
"Let the demon take him," she says. Dean grins.
"What!?!" he snaps. Justine smiles as she returns to the woods. "You lied to me!" Dean shouts. The wind blows gently in the night. Slowly Dean lowers his head as he makes his way back to the house.
Dean enters the house slowly. Sam waits at the steps leading upstairs. "So we going to go ahead with our original plans?" he asks. Dean looks at him and nods.
"Yeah." he says entering the kitchen. Sam groans and sits back against the steps. Fear overwhelms him as he sits alone in agony, thinking of what was going to happen to his soul.
Okay, that's the end of this chapter!! Hope you guys enjoy.

CHAPTER SEVEN
Dean sits down at the table and pulls out the colt. Sam looks on silently as his brother loads the gun. "You really think that will work?" he whispers. Dean looks up at him silently.
"Sam, don't worry everything will work out," He said. Sam watches him silently.
"I'm sure it will," Sam snaps. Dean watches him silently. "You made a deal didn't you?" Sam asks. Dean slowly lowers the gun. Shaking his head Sam fights back tears. "When are you going to learn?" he asks.
"Sam...." Dean begins. Sam holds up his hand.
"Let me know when you're ready," he says entering the room. Dean sinks back slowly.
Sam enters the room and shuts the door. A loud chirp can be heard outside. He walks over to the window and sees the white eagle perched on the tree limb. A smile comes across his face as he opens the window. He climbs from the window and quickly races into the woods.
The surrounding area is dark and covered in fog. Slowly the fog slides across his feet. Sam looks around slowly. "Where are you?" he calls. A slight breeze slowly combs through the trees. Sam smiles as he feels the breeze slides across his face. A white horse stands behind him. Justine is sitting in the saddle on it's back. Sam straightens and turns back slowly. Justine stares at him. "You shouldn't be out here," Justine says sliding down off the saddle to the ground. Sam smiles. Justine smiles back as she races over to him. Sam pulls her into a tight hug. She pulls away from Sam and looks at him. "You look good," she whispers.
"You do too," Sam says. "Does Dean know?"
"No!" Justine whispers. "He doesn't." She takes Sam's hand and presses it against her cheek. "There's no warmth," she whispers. "You must get back." Sam slowly pulls his hand away. "You're riding the fence," she says softly circling him. "You must break away," she whispers sliding her hand across the back of shoulders. "Promise me!" she says softly stopping in front of him. Sam nods.
"I don't know what she'll say," he says.
"Tell her to come to me if she has a problem," Justine snaps. Sam looks over slowly as Justine walks over to the white horse and pulls her self into the saddle. "There's a war coming, choose your side," she snaps gathering the reins and charging through the woods. There's a bright flash of white light as she disappears.
Dean turns back as a white flash appears outside the window. He lowers the gun and rises. He enters the room and stops seeing Sam asleep on the bed. He sighs and steps out of the room. Shutting the door he turns back and gasps seeing Justine standing at the wall. "You shouldn't sneak up on people, especially when they have a gun," Dean says holding up the colt.
"I'm not afraid of that," Justine says.
"Answer me this, why shouldn't I shoot you right here, right now?" Dean snaps aiming the gun at her.
"Because I have a way to save your brother," Justine says.
"Yeah letting the demon have him, that's a good way of saving him," Dean snaps walking over to the table. Justine walks over to the window and watches outside.
"He doesn't have much time Dean," Justine whispers. "It must be done tonight!"
"I'm not going to let that thing take my brother," Dean says. Justine walks over to him.
"Have faith dean!" she whispers. Dean watches her walk to the corner and disappear. Dean slowly lowers the gun and glances back at the shut door to the bed room. He walks over to the door and opens it. Sam is now sitting on the bed staring at the window.
"We should get to it," Dean says. Sam slowly turns his head and nods.
He slowly rises and grabs his coat. Dean watches him walk from the room in front of him. Dean follows him into the living room. Sliding his coat on Sam lets out a soft sigh as he zips it up.
"You shouldn't have made a deal Dean," Sam whispers. He makes his way to the door. Dean slides the colt into his jacket and follows him. Stopping at the door Dean takes a long breath as he slides another gun into his belt. He nods slowly and walks outside shutting the door behind him.

CHAPTER EIGHT
The impala pulls to a stop at the edge of the woods. Dean slowly slides from the drivers seat. Sam stares outside from inside the car. He's afraid to move. Dean leans back into the car "You coming?" he asks. Sam nods slowly and gets out of the car. Walking to the trunk Dean opens the lid and slowly pulls out several guns. He slides them into his coat. Sam walks over to him.
"What if this doesn't work?" he asks.
"It will," Dean says placing another in his coat just in case. Sam sighs and nods, he trusted his brother. "Let's go!" Dean says slamming the lid and walking towards the woods. Dean stops hearing a swoosh from behind him. He turns back slowly but doesn't see anyone around. Shaking his head he continues behind Sam. The moon slowly slides behind the black clouds in the night sky. The woods become dark and still. Sam watches around him.
"You think this will work?" he asks. Dean kneels down and prepares the weapons. He looks at him and nods.
"I'll be close by, but I have to stay hidden," he says. Sam nods slowly.
"I'm not scared Dean," he says. Dean nods as he picks up his bag and throws it over his shoulder. He walks into the darkness and disappears. Sam glances around slowly as fog begins to settle through out the woods. Sam turns slowly watching every direction.
Dean kneels down behind the tree with his attention focused on his brother. "Hello Dean," Castiel says. Dean jerks back and rises.
"What do you want?" Dean snaps. He continues to stare at Sam.
"You made a deal," Castiel says.
"Not a deal, it was an agreement, you guys don't make deals remember," Dean says staring ahead. Castiel nods.
"Your brother is in trouble Dean," he says. "He's going down that path and he will fall." Dean looks back at him. He slowly rises.
"You told me I had to stop him, that's what I'm doing," he snaps. Castiel shakes his head.
"Apparently not well enough," he says. Dean glances back at his brother then turns back to Castiel. Castiel is gone. Dean shakes his head as he turns back to his brother. Suddenly the sound of shrieking crows can be heard coming through the woods. Dean lifts the gun and gets ready to fire. The wind begins to blow violently. Dean watches frantically as shadows begin to creep across the ground through the woods. Sam watches as the shadows surround him.
"No!" he shouts as he burst the shadows and races further into the woods.
"SAMMY!" Dean shouts quickly following him. The shadows quickly follow Sam deeper into the darkness. Dean struggles to keep up with him.
The shadows remain on Sam's heels as he runs. He glances back as the shadows catch up to him. Turning back he is sent flying to the ground as the demon appears in front of him. Dean races quickly towards him.
"SAMMY!!" He screams as the demon raises a blade. Sam stares up at it in horror. Suddenly the shadows turn into human form and surround him. Sam slowly slides back as the demons begin to close in. Suddenly a loud shriek fills the woods. The demons jerk back as Dean comes to a stop. The demons look around frantically. Suddenly the wind begins to blow violently. Suddenly an arrow is shot from the tree and hits the demon in the chest. Sam jerks as Justine lands on the ground. She races over to Sam and stands in front of him. She pulls out several swords from her coat. She holds them out as fires engulfs the blades.
"You want him? Come on and take him!" she shouts as flames shoot off the blades. Dean watches the demons step towards her. The wind begins to blow harder as she begins to whisper in a different language. The ground begins to rumble loudly. Sam slowly slides back as the fog begins to move in quickly. Dean stands motionless as Justine stands in front of the demons. She raises the sword up as five horse and riders charges through the woods Dean dives behind a tree as the riders race past him. He watches in horror as the horse and riders charge at the demons with swords. One of the men leap from the horse and land on the demon. The demon is thrown to the ground. The man forces a sword blade through the demons chest. The demons are quickly taken down in a fierce battle. Justine forces her now fireless sword back into her coat. She walks over to Sam who is slowly rising to his feet. She presss her palms against his face. Sam gasps as he falls to his knees. Dean watches in horror as Sam's soul disappears. The demons slowly vanish into the fog. The men and horses remain standing behind Justine. Dean races over to her and stops.
"I don't lie!" Justine snaps. Dean looks at the men on the horses staring at him.
"Where's my brother?" Dean asks.
"Go to the hospital!" Justine says walking over to the man on the horse. She swings unto the horse behind the man. He slowly turns the horse and charges back into the woods. Dean is left standing alone and in shock from the recent raid. He quickly races back through the woods to the impala.
Racing into the hospital he stops as Sam's room and gasps. The bed is empty, and the machines are turned off. "No," he whispers. He glances over and sees Bobby walking down the hall. "Bobby!" he calls racing over to him. "Where's Sam?"
"He's gone," Bobby whispers.
"What?" Dean whispers.
"He's gone to his own room," Bobby says. Dean feels a smile come across his face. He hugs Bobby tightly. Bobby grins as he slowly hugs Dean. Dean breaks away and smiles as he quickly hurries down the hall.
Sam sits silently in the hospital bed staring out the window. Dean throws open the door. "Sammy," he whispers. Sam looks back at him.
"Hey!" he says softly. Dean smiles as he walks over and hugs him. Sam hugs him tightly as he sighs. He forces Sam to look at him.
"I'm glad to see you awake." he says.
"What happened?" Sam asks.
"I'll explain it later," Dean says squeezing his shoulder. "You should get some sleep, I'm going to get something to eat, you want something?"
"A bagel," Sam says. Dean nods and slowly walks from the room.
Dean sits silently at the table, combing through the eggs with a fork. A swift breeze blows across the table knocking his napkin and plastic fork and spoon on the floor. Dean reaches down and picks them up. He sits back up and sees Justine standing at the table. "Hello Dean," she says. Dean looks at her.
"Hello Justine," he says.
"Can I sit?" she asks. Dean nods. Justine slowly pulls the chair out and sits down at the table. "You actually eat that stuff?" she asks staring at the plate of eggs and sausage. Dean shrugs. "Sorry, I prefer doughnuts with lots of icing!" she says. Dean smiles.
"Thank you," he says. Justine smiles.
"You're welcome," she says.
"Why did you do it?" Dean asks.
"You had faith," Justine says. Dean nods slowly. "You knew that help was there," Justine says. "And I have to obey what I promised," she says. "Now you must do me a favor," she says. Dean looks at her.
"And I thought I would get away with doing nothing in return," he says. Justine smiles.
"There's a demon that must be dealt with," Justine says.
"You're a mighty angel...oh and nice horses by the way!" Dean says. Justine grins.
"I can buy you a my little pony if it'll cheer you up?" Justine says
"I think Sam will like that," Dean says. Justine smiles and nods. "What about this demon?" he asks.
"Sam's not completely free," Justine says. Dean grins. "There's a demon that he's been associating with," Justine says. "She goes by Ruby." Dean sinks back slowly.
"Ruby's dead," Dean snaps.
"No!" Justine says. Dean leans forward. "Sam's been with her, when you sleep he goes, she's helped him destroy several of my men," Justine says. Dean grins.
"Why are you so intent on bringing her down?" Dean asks.
"She's my sister!" Justine says. Dean gasps and sinks back in his chair. "I risk being destroyed if I get involved in her slaying, she has Sam under her control, he'll kill me," Justine says. Dean looks down at his plate. "You must do this for me, Sam must be freed from her grasp." she says. Dean looks up. Justine is now gone. Dean slowly rises and looks around the crowded lunch room at a lost to what to do.

really good story, and interesting little twist.....so sammy hasn't been exorcising demons but angels, hmmmm!!!
the only suggestion i can give you is to remember the position of your characters, sometimes you have them standing and than a couple of sentences later they are standing-up. but it was really good!!!
can't wait to see how you remedy this little situation lol!!!

CHAPTER NINE
Dean enters the hospital room. Sam sits against the pillow looking through his father's journal. He glances over at Dean. "Hey," he says softly. Dean smiles.
"They're releasing you," Dean says. Sam nods slowly. "What's the matter?" Dean asks seeing his brother's worried look.
"I had this strange dream," Sam says looking at Dean.
"And what happened in this dream?" Dean asks.
"I don't know, I can't quite remember it," Sam says. Dean nods slowly.
"Well I signed the forms and everything so we're ready when you are," he says. Sam nods slowly as he looks back at the window.
Bobby pulls up to his house and stops. The front door is wide open. Pulling the gun from the glove compartment he opens the door and gets out. He races over to the front porch and hides against the outside wall. He slowly glances in as he prepares himself to fire. Entering the house he aims the gun ahead of him. Suddenly the door slams shut. He jerks back. He sighs seeing nothing there. Justine appears behind him. "Hey handsome," she says. Bobby turns back slowly and stops.
"Anastasia?" he whispers. Justine pulls out the license from the jeans pocket.
"Sorry, it's Anabelle this time," she says. Bobby lowers the gun. Justine smiles. "I promised I would come back." she says. Bobby smiles. "I got them," Justine says pulling out a necklace from her shirt. "Just as you promised," she says. Bobby walks over to her. The necklace has two long rows of diamonds full of a clear crystal liquid in each of the small diamonds. "My wings are even more beautiful," she says. Bobby hugs her tightly.
Dean and Sam sit outside the house in the impala. Sam watches Bobby hug Justine tightly. "Ew!" Sam says shaking his head.
"Hey, even Bobby has to get some sometime," Dean says. "Lucky man!" Sam looks at his brother. "What!?" Dean says. Sam rolls his eyes and gets out.
Sam and Dean enter the house. Justine is standing at the table looking over some maps. Dean smiles as he enters the kitchen. "So Bobby you going to introduce us?" he calls. Justine turns back. Dean stops. "Oh! Hey!" Dean says. Justine smiles.
"Hey Dean, hey Sam," she says. Sam nods slowly. Dean smiles.
"Hey!" he says. Justine turns back to the table and looks down at the map. "So, how do you know each other?" Dean asks as Bobby enters the room. Justine looks at Bobby.
"We go back," she says.
"How far back?" Dean asks with a smile. Justine and Bobby glare at him.
"Four years ago," Justine snaps. Dean's smile quickly fades. "Bobby was doing a hunt, looking for a demon, I was on a mission," Justine says. "I was on a mission to get my wings," she says. "Bobby offered to let me to take this mission so I could get them. I inhabited a body, a girl named Anastasia, she was fourteen years old," she says.
"Picking them kind of young aren't you?" Dean asks.
"I found the demon and I went in for the attack, I got in a fight with her, I fell into the river, the girl I inhabited couldn't swim. She drowned. Bobby pulled me out but the girl didn't make it. She died two days later," Justine says. Sam glares at her.
"So you going to kill this one too?" he asks.
"I won't make that mistake again!" Justine snaps. Sam stares at her. "I have my wings, I earned them and I won't take any prisoners, she's going down this time," Justine says.
"Who?" Sam asks.
"My sister," Justine says. Sam glances over at Dean and then back at Justine.
"Your sister is a demon?" Sam asks. Justine nods.
"Sugar and spice," she says. Dean smiles.
"So where do we find this demon?" Sam asks. Justine smiles.
"That's easy," she says. "Where ever you are," she says leaning against the table.
"Are you talking about Ruby?" Sam asks. Justine stares at him.
"Don't fight me Sam, you won't win," she snaps.
"I won't let you," Sam snaps. Justine rises.
"It's not your choice," she snaps angrily at him.
"We're helping people!" he shouts. Justine gets in his face.
"By going against GOD!?" she shouts back. Sam stares at her in anger. "Sam, she's my sister, she turned her back, I can't.....I won't let her get away with it," Justine snaps.
"Just wait," Sam snaps grabbing his coat and storming outside. Justine groans and leans back against the table.
"This won't be easy," Justine says turning back to the map. "We'll follow him tonight, he'll go and warn her and if that happens, I have to make adjustments."
"Adjustments?" Bobby asks. Justine looks at him.
"Don't worry about it, I have it under control," She says. She stares back down at the map. Sadness and heartbreak come across her face as she stares at the map. Slowly she turns away and walks outside. Dean slowly follows her.
Stepping outside Dean sees her sitting on the bed of a an old wrecked truck. He walks over to her. "You okay?" he asks. Justine nods slowly. Dean sits beside her.
"If he warns her, there's no stopping her," Justine whispers.
"Maybe you can compromise," Dean says. Justine looks at him.
"Have you ever compromised with a demon?" she asks. Dean looks at her.
"Uh...yeah!" he says.
"It's not easy Dean, angels and demon don't mix," Justine says.
"You're afraid of her," Dean says. "Let me guess you're the youngest?"
"Yeah," Justine whispers. "She's very strong, she'll kill me. But I can't stop it, I can't stop the feeling."
"What feeling?" Dean asks. Justine looks at him slowly.
"I want Sam's soul," she says. Dean sinks back slowly. "It's the only way Dean. It's the only way to save him from her," Justine says softly turning away from him. "I must have it." Dean slowly rises from the truck bed.
"Sorry, can't help you," he snaps walking away. Justine sighs as she sits back forward and looks down at the ground.
That night Sam enters an old torn down church. Ruby is standing at the altar staring at it. She turns back and sighs seeing Sam walking down the aisle. "I'm so glad you're here," she says walking towards him.
"We have to talk," Sam says.
"What about?" Ruby asks.
"Your sister," Sam says. Ruby grins.
"My sister?" she asks. "Are you talking about Justine?"
"Yes!" Sam says.
"She's gone," Ruby says.
"No," Sam says. Ruby sinks back.
"She's here, she wants to get rid of you," Sam says. Suddenly the doors slam shut as Ruby stares at him angrily. Sam glances back at the doors then back at Ruby.
"Sam this is not your fight," Ruby says.
"What are you going to do?" Sam asks.
"It's not what I'm going to do, it's what you're going to do," Ruby says. "Bring her here," she says.
"I can't do that," Sam says.
"I'm not asking Sam, I'm telling you," Ruby says. Sam nods slowly suddenly under her spell. He slowly turns back to the door and walks outside. Ruby smiles as she turns back to the altar waiting for the battle she had spent her years preparing for for.

CHAPTER TEN
Justine sits at the bar slowly rolling an empty glass back and forth. Dean sets a beer in front of her. She glances over at him. "Oh yeah, I forgot," he says taking the beer back. She glances back forward silently. "I'm sorry about earlier," he says.
"No, you're right, I shouldn't be that determine to have something I can not have," she says. Dean sits down slowly on the stool beside her.
"Sam's not the same anymore," Dean says looking at her. Justine listens silently. "Since he found out about the demon blood and everything, there's nothing I can do," he says. Justine turns to him slowly. She slowly slides from the seat as Dean looks at her.
"You know it's been a long time," she says. Dean grins.
"Bobby's gorgous yes! But, it's been a very long time," Justine says. Dean cringes.
"How old are you really?" Dean asks.
"Over a thousand years old," Justine says with a smile.
"So it's safe to say Bobby's too young for you," Dean says with a half smile. "Why pick the younger people to inhabit?" he asks.
"Why not?" Justine asks leaning close to Dean. Dean stares at her as she comes close to him. Dean closes his eyes and leans in. Slowly he pulls back.
"Awkward moment!" he whispers. "I just can't get this picture of you and Bobby out of my head, it's ruining it for me." Justine smiles and pulls back. She walks slowly towards the back room. Glancing back over her shoulder she smiles as she lets the sleeve slide down off her shoulder. Dean takes a sip of his beer. "Awkward moment over," he says quickly rising. Justine laughs as they enter the room and shut the door.
She turns to Dean and pulls his coat off and throws it on the table. Dean pulls off her button up shirt and forces her unto the bed. Justine smiles as she pulls Dean close and kisses him. He pulls back and pulls off his belt and lays back across her. Justine wraps her arm around his neck as she kisses him. They slowly roll over into the covers.
As the night continues Justine lays under the covers beside Dean. Her arm is around his waist. He glances over at her and sees the necklace around her neck. "What's that?" he asks. Justine slowly takes the necklace and looks down at it. She holds up the gold and diamond necklace.
"It's my wings," she whispers softly.
"I thought they were on your back?" Dean says.
"They are, this shows the honor. It's like your Bible. It gives you the knowledge, it gives you strength, without it you don't have anything," Justine says.
"The liquid in the diamonds?" Dean asks.
"My imortality," Justine says.
"If this necklace is taken away, or destroyed?" Dean asks.
"I do not exist, I die," Justine says. "My wings will be destroyed." She sits up slowly. She runs her hand down his chest.
"Can I see your true form?" Dean asks. Justine stares at him.
"No," she rises and grabs her shirt and jeans. Dean sits up quickly and grabs his jeans and shirt. She turns to him. "Do not mention of this to Castiel or Uriel! They'll be furious and you don't want to be in the middle of that," she says rushing from the room. Dean quickly follows as he puts on his shirt.
They rush from the room and stop seeing Castiel. Dean slowly finishes putting his shirt on. Justine stares at Castiel. Castiel stares at Dean. "Castiel," Justine begins. Castiel holds up his hand to silence her.
"You sinned," he whispered. "YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS!" he shouts. Dean feels the building rumble. He stares at Castiel as Castiel circles Justine. "I should take your wings and burn them," Castiel snaps. Justine stares at him as tears come to her eyes.
"You wouldn't," she whispers. Castiel forces her against the wall. He grasps the necklace "No please!" she cries.
"Take heed to my warning," he snaps storming away from her. He turns back to Dean as he stops at the door. Justine watches Castiel storm from the building. She glances over at Dean. Shaking her head she storms outside.
She quickly races through the woods towards the empty church. She races up the steps and throws open the doors and races down the aisle. She comes to the altar and falls to her knees. "Please forgive me!" she whispers. She holds the necklace tightly in her hand. "Please father! Please!" she whispers. Slowly the candles in the front of the church begin to light one by one. Ruby enters the church slowly. Justine rises slowly and turns back. "Hello Ruby," she whispers. Ruby smiles.
"Hello Justine," she says. Ruby walks towards her. "Tisk..tisk...tisk! No angel of God would ever sin," she whispers circling her. "But I must say I don't blame you, Dean is hard to resist. But I have a feeling that's not all that you want," Ruby says. Justine turns to her slowly.
"You're right," she says. Ruby smiles.
"You want me gone," she says.
"I will do what I have to do," Justine says. "I want Sam's soul."
Ruby smiles "And why would I give it to you?" she asks.
"Because I have something you want," Justine says. She slowly takes her necklace off. "Wings make the demons powerful," she says.
Ruby laughs "You trade your imortality for a soul?" she asks. "You trade your wings?"
"That's right," Justine says.
The impala pulls up out front as Sam races over to the car. Dean quickly gets out. "She's inside," Sam calls finally thinking clearly. Dean pulls out his gun and quickly races with Sam up the steps to the doors. Justine turns back to the door and holds up her hand. The doors slam shut and lock. Locking both Dean and Sam outside. Ruby laughs softly as she slides the necklace around her neck.
"Deal!" she says. Justine glances back at her and smiles.
"Very well," she says. The shadows of the wings appears on the ceiling.
"They feel great," Ruby says pleased. "Now, it's time that you go home," she says holding up her hand. Justine is thrown back against the altar. Justine gasps as the cross pierces her side. She clutches her side tightly as she lifts herself from the cross. The side of the cross is pulled from her flesh. Ruby watches her fall to the floor on her hands and knees. Ruby smiles as she holds her hands to her side. The large wings appear on her back. Justine stares at her in fear. "That is the greatest mistake, you'll ever make," she says pulling a knife from her coat and holding it up. Dean kicks open the doors.
"NO!" he shouts as Ruby brings the knife down making a killing blow.

CHAPTER ELEVEN
Ruby brings the knife down. Her arm is pulled back before the blade pierces Justine's chest. Sam yanks Ruby away from her. He holds up his hand as he sends Ruby flying to the wall. Ruby hits the wall with a loud thud. Dean races over to Justine and pulls her into his grasps. Justine stares at him, her eyes full of tears as she gasps. Dean looks down at the blood draining heavily from her side. "The girl..." she whispers taking a breath in. "she's dying!" Dean quickly pulls her into his arms. He looks over and sees Sam holding Ruby against the wall.
"Go!" he calls. Dean quickly races outside with Justine. Sam turns to Ruby. "I'm sorry," he whispers.
"Don't do this," Ruby begs as she stares at him with fear and pain in her eyes. He looks down and sees the necklace. He yanks it from her neck. Ruby stares at him. "I warned you," Ruby whispers. She shoves Sam back to the ground. Sam looks over and sees the necklace slide under the seat. He quickly races over and grabs it. He jerks back as Ruby races towards him and stops in her tracks. Sam holds the necklace up as he stares at her. "You wouldn't dare!" she shouts. Sam places the necklace around his neck. Ruby gasps as Sam rises.
Justine gasps as she stares at the sky. Dean watches her in fear. "Sam!" Justine whispers. Dean looks back at the church. Suddenly smoke begins to come through the windows and boards. "He must not put on that necklace!! The wings can't touch a human soul!! They're too strong!" Justine whispers. "They'll burn through the flesh!"
"Sammy!" Dean shouts racing back to the church.
Sam drops to the floor as he screams in agony. Ruby screams as she sees the wings pierce Sam's skin. The shadows appear on the walls behind him. Ruby stares in horror as Sam slowly rises. "Get away from me," she whispers. Dean throws open the doors and stops as Sam stares ahead at Ruby.
"Sammy?" he whispers.
"There is a war coming! You can't stop it!" Ruby screams as Sam holds up his hand. "They'll come for you and they'll destroy you!" Ruby screams. Sam shuts his eyes and holds up his hand. Dean jerks back as black shadows fly past him. Ruby jerks back to the sound of hissing. "No!" she whispers shaking her head as the shadows speed towards her. Sam opens his eyes slowly. "No, don't do this Sam!" Ruby screams. Dean aims the colt at Ruby. Suddenly a blinding light fills the church. Sam is thrown to the ground as Dean is thrown the door. Ruby screams as the black shadows surround her. Staring ahead Sam gasps in horror as the shape in the bright light steps towards Ruby. The figure points to the door. Ruby screams as she's dragged through the church and outside. Dean lifts his head slowly as Ruby is dragged into the woods. He glances back as the flames devour the church.
"Sammy" Dean shouts. Flames surround the entrance. Stepping up to the flames Dean stares in. Sam is laying unconscious on the floor in the middle of the flames. A woman is leaning over him holding her head in her lap. Slowly she glances up at Dean. Her piercing blue eyes stare at him. Dean can see the white glow around her. Her golden blonde hangs past her thin shoulders. Slowly she rises, her white gown hangs to the floor. Slowly she places the necklace back around her neck. Dean smiles as the woman slowly backs into the flames and disappears. Slowly the flames go out. Racing over to Sam, Dean kneels beside him. "Sammy?" Dean calls. Sam wakes with a gasp. He sits up slowly. "You okay?" Dean asks. Sam glances around slowly then over at Dean.
"Yeah," he whispers. Dean slowly squeezes his shoulder as he sighs. Sam glances back at the church around them. The floor is black and the seats are a charred grey.
"Come on," Dean whispers helping him rise. They slowly make their way down the aisle which is still smoking.
Dean sits in the waiting room at the hospital for word on the girl. He glances over as Sam enters the room with a bandage on his arm and a band aid on his neck. "Anything?" Sam asks.
"She's stable, they think she'll be okay," Dean says. Sam sighs and nods.
"Justine?" he asks.
"She's gone," Dean says. Sam nods slowly. "Ruby?" Dean asks rising slowly.
"She's gone too," Sam says. Dean watches Sam look away slowly.
"It's not worth getting upset over, she's not worth it," he says. Sam looks at him slowly. Dean pats his shoulder as he walks past him and from the room.
Pam sits in bed, it's been a while since her eyes had been burnt by Castiel, but the pain was still unbearable. White gauze still covers her badly burnt eyes. A gentle breeze slowly flows through the room. Pam slowly turns her head to the sound of movement. A figure steps towards the bed and stops. "It's you," Pam whispers.
"Hello Pam," says a female voice. Pam slowly holds out her hand as a slight breeze falls into the palm.
