Caught in the Riddle Part 1
pinkphoenix - September 9, 2008 06:14 PM (GMT)
Irismay42- this is a brilliant start to the episode!! I can't wait until tomorrow! :D
cooldudet - September 9, 2008 07:23 PM (GMT)
Responding to the suddenly serious tone in Dean’s voice, Sam discarded the computer, rising to his feet and taking a step toward his brother.
I can see that.
OMG I love this
very interesting
I am hooked
love it
irismay42 - September 9, 2008 10:03 PM (GMT)
Glad you guys are enjoying it so far! I hear Kripke's doing Teen!chesters in season 4, so maybe he's realised more people like the Wee than you'd think!! ;)
phantom_causes - September 9, 2008 11:51 PM (GMT)
Awesome episode so far, I love how you describe the boys when they were young so perfectly.
Serenity&Chaos - September 10, 2008 12:44 AM (GMT)
Oh how much I love wee!chesters! :D
Oceane - September 10, 2008 02:31 AM (GMT)
Yay!For Wee!Chesters :D
I love the connection between the past and the present, captivating.
Irismay, you got me hooked from the start, can't wait for more.
Kyle - September 10, 2008 04:40 AM (GMT)
Come with you? I don't think so dude.
bjxmas - September 10, 2008 06:05 AM (GMT)
I can't believe I almost forgot about this story starting. But it's not on the home page at Supernaturalville.net , shouldn't it be?
I totally love the Wee!chesters and I really love cutting back and forth between the years. And even tho John is in a coma, we at least have him in the flashbacks.
I totally picture the kids from the show in all the flashbacks. Dean is so cute, worrying and hating that John is flirting and all the brotherly teasing. I love seeing how he was back then, worrying over John and Sam and it was really telling how he hated that everyone kept mentioning how hard raising kids on his own was for John. Like Dean wasn't a major force there, doing his job, taking care of his family.
I love having Bobby in this too. And Sam was so protective of Dean as they entered the hospital, knowing how much John means to him. Sam did his usual, telling Dean that he'd be fine, whether he believes it himself or not, feeling the need to comfort Dean.
Yep, I'm lovin' it!
irismay42 - September 10, 2008 08:02 AM (GMT)
I kinda liked writing that part where Sam was being the protective one in the present BJ, so I'm glad you noticed! I figure no matter how hard Dean tries to think of Sam as still a kid, looking after each other is very much a two way street for them now!
I'm really glad you guys are enjoying this - there's more Wee! in this one than the last VS Wee!chester I wrote so I was kinda worried about that!
Hope you enjoy the rest!

irismay42 - September 10, 2008 11:12 AM (GMT)

Sam hadn’t cried, not once, so Dean sure as hell wasn’t going to.
wow cause Dean has to be strong for Sam :(
“Wait, what?” It was Sam’s turn to sound completely freaked, eyes so big they looked like they might pop right out of his head as it swiveled in Dean’s direction. “They can’t – I don’t want to – Dean, don’t let them –” He stopped suddenly, voice choked off in something approaching a sob, and for the first time since they’d arrived home from school that afternoon, Sam looked like he might actually cry.
that freaking put tears in my eyes
Dean fought the urge to slap her hand away from his brother, but Sammy had got that whole puppy dog thing going on and he didn’t want to distract the woman from its mysterious power.
lol
“Besides,” the woman continued, her smile slowly becoming something else entirely that Dean couldn’t quite identify. “I have a feeling one or two of the other children won’t be here much longer anyway…”whoa huh
whoa whoa what the hell has iron teeth :o
sorry bout the long review
but
omg
Serenity&Chaos - September 10, 2008 07:13 PM (GMT)
Oh good god. Iron teeth?!
Is it weird that throughout this whole part that I just wanna save Sam and Dean from those people from CPS? I can just picture how Sam won't leave Dean's side through the whole thing and I was almost freaking when it looked like they were gonna be separated.

Dude. I was right there with him. Oh man, I almost cried myself.
And Dean. Oh, being the protective big brother and terrified. God bless that boy. :D
irismay42 - September 10, 2008 07:31 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I'm kinda worried that I'm hero worshipping a 12 year old boy here...!!
Glad the cliffie got you guys going a little bit! :evil
Tree66 - September 10, 2008 08:11 PM (GMT)
The social workers’ car smelt like ass, Dean decided... :rotfl
Dude- you know how much I LOVEEEEEEE your Wee- and this just proves it when I can read WeeDean in that comment and totally see petulent young Dean - sitting in that car as easily as I can see Adult Dean sitting there and making a similar comment about 'someone else's car' -
I love how it instantly made me think of Dean from Maleus... which I'm sure was your intent... heehee! Little things like that just create a continuity that I love... :hi5
Nicely done- of course! :bow
irismay42 - September 10, 2008 08:44 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I was definitely thinking of Malleus when I wrote that line... The witches connection... Oops. Better not say anything else ! :fire
pinkphoenix - September 10, 2008 09:06 PM (GMT)
bloody brilliant, Irismay42!! like it was mentioned in other reviews- I'm loving the contrast between the past and the present where Sam is in the 'big' brother role
I have a weird feeling about Mrs. Vasilyeva and the whole thing- I know that she's the baddie (never trusted extremely weird surnames as well as the over usage of the title...), but I still think that it's going to get worse before it can get better huh?
the CPS parts were so emotional and I have to say that you got Dean and Sam's fear of them down pat. You had me wish that I could save them from it...
Are the boys going to do some hunting on their own at this tender age? I'm looking forward to it!
last but not least :P please tell me that there is an emotional reunion scene when John wakes up! :D
adder574 - September 10, 2008 09:16 PM (GMT)
Just finished reading part one. We have worried, angsty Dean, Bobby, Sam being protective of Dean, and weechesters. What's not to love. Must go read part 2.
adder574 - September 10, 2008 11:55 PM (GMT)
Part two was awesome Iris. I was worried the boys were going to end up separated. Glad Dean refused to let them.
Can't wait until tomorrow's part.
supernaturalsam - September 10, 2008 11:56 PM (GMT)
Iris writing Wee!Chester...is there really anything else better in the world? :D :cheer
I love this episode so much, Iris! I've been excited for this one ever since I found out you were writing another Wee!Chester! :hi5 :cloud9 :clap :bow
phantom_causes - September 11, 2008 12:37 AM (GMT)
Awesome chapter, that old woman really gives me the creeps, I don't like her one bit. For some odd reason, this episode reminds me quite a bit of the episode "Something Wicked" from the 1st season. ;) The thought of the boys being separated was truly horrific, and I'd definitely be wary about what's going on in that basement.
Oceane - September 11, 2008 01:32 AM (GMT)
What a chilling chapter.
Mrs Vasilyeva creeps me the hell out of me :ph43r:
She must eat kids for breakfast :ph43r:
Can't wait for tomorrow's update.
cindy123 - September 11, 2008 02:52 AM (GMT)
:o Holy crap in a knapsack!!!! What the hell? Okay, so if these kids are disappearing, shouldn't the social workers be suspicious? This is so freakin' creepy. I cringe when I think that Sam could have been left there without Dean. Of course Dean wouldn't let that happen, but it still is very scary to think about! Love this story, can't wait for the next part!!!
Cindy.

irismay42 - September 11, 2008 11:04 AM (GMT)
Glad you guys like this one - I was a bit nervous of writing another Wee!chester fic - I know they're not everyone's cup of tea!
Oceane... Hmm... You don't know how right you might be......... :evil

Yeah Cindy, I suspect they would be - but of course Mrs. Vasilyeva told the CPS dudes her house was full when she obviously had two empty bedrooms... Not that I'm suggesting she would lie to the CPS of course (heh heh heh...)!!
kittsbud - September 11, 2008 04:51 PM (GMT)
pinkphoenix - September 11, 2008 05:30 PM (GMT)
So now Dean is food for Mrs Vasilyeva? uh oh...
I have to admit that I don't see how the boys and John ever got out of this mess!
irismay42 - September 11, 2008 05:54 PM (GMT)
My god you read that fast Pink! I was just skimming for typos (hurrah! only found one tonight!) and I didn't get through it as fast as you did!!!
Fear not, the Winchesters will live to fight another day. Well. Obviously...

They have to get out of the mess.... don't they??? I mean- its in their contract isnt it? Oh wait- if they dont get out of this - does that mean I should still write my next episode????
irismay42 - September 11, 2008 08:47 PM (GMT)
We could write in a whole temporal paradox: Sam and Dean don't survive 1992 so Tree doesn't have to write episode 19... Maybe we could get Doctor Who involved to keep Kitts happy... ;)
cooldudet - September 11, 2008 09:20 PM (GMT)
OMG
OMG OMG OMG
what the heck is she
omg speechless
Serenity&Chaos - September 11, 2008 09:23 PM (GMT)
Good God Irismay!! :o :o You're killing me here! I've never felt so scared for the boys ever! I almost lost it when Sam thought Dean had left him. I just wanted to cuddle the hell out of him.
Part 4! I need part 4!
pinkphoenix - September 11, 2008 09:41 PM (GMT)
Irismay- :D I was waiting for kitts to post it and as soon as she did I just read it in about 20 mins and then went back and reread it :P
Tree- heehee yeah, then it would be a total paradox because how are they then able to be present in 2008?! but I'm loving the mystery and my money is on Sam to do something and hopefully save the day (with Dean by his side of course ;) but it's up to Dean to get out of that cage!)

Yeah, me too, Serenity, although I wouldn't mind cuddling grown up Sam too if he was feeling a bit vulnerable! ;) And grown up Dean in a cage is quite an appealing prospect also...! :fire
Pink, between you and Oceane you guys could have plotted this one!

I can't wait to see how you get the boys out of the mess! you have me biting my nails- I'm loving it! :)
PS- I told you that you didn't have anything to worry about, didn't I?
irismay42 - September 11, 2008 10:44 PM (GMT)
Yeah you did... Phew! Mind you, you guys haven't read the ending yet! Hopefully you'll like it...??
Serenity&Chaos - September 11, 2008 11:34 PM (GMT)
Irismay if you got us his riled up so far, I'm sure that we're gonna love the ending.
And I agree with you on the cuddling with grown up Sam too. ;)
Oceane - September 12, 2008 02:38 AM (GMT)
O*M*G* :o :o :o
The suspense is killing me, are we Friday yet?
