You did it again! And this being a one-shot, you got a lot of emotion into it. I am glad this is an AU, must of been some dream if you could remember it that vividly. *hugs* You did an amazing job here.
I am a sucker for the relationship you write with Sam and Dean. It's amazing how well you have them connect and it is still so believable. Others like the yelling at eachother or getting on one anothers nerves, that's all good and fun but it isn't wnat they are about.
You caught both of them well...I had to grab for the tissues for this part. Broke my heart:
| QUOTE |
“Dean? No, no, no, I stopped it…I saved you…” Sam was saying, panic-shaky hands lifting Dean’s head from the soaking ground. One came to rest on Dean’s chest, peeling back the blood stained layers to check for wounds. Dean could taste copper and salt, felt the dried rivulets of blood along the cracks of his lips split as his mouth worked.
“S-Sam, what are you—?” |
Great work Sojourner! Keep up the wonderful writing. You are so great! *hugs tight*

Alright if that wasn't the most depressing ending, you have shown up the tragity factor in this one-shot. Romeo and Juliet back off the Winchesters are in town. (Mix of coffee and Coke. (As in Cola!)) You put a lot of emotion in this. Thinking of a sequel?
I think that Kripke will do something far worse, with all the facts and shit that have been given, yes, I do believe the hammer will come down hard on the boys. I am dreading it but, damn how can I stop watching now!? I am hooked.
Bravo kiddo. You did a great job, now...where were we on that sequel? *laugh* I am teasing, don't do that, would defeat the term "one-shot".
Bye kiddo

By the way, like the banner! Very emotional and dark, just the way I like it.

Hey guys. Thank you for your reviews!
Laura, I've already been getting PMs where people are thanking me for the rec. So I'm sending them your way. *laugh* It's a great story. Love your solution to the deal above all others.
Kira, you are a sweetheart. Thank you for the support as always. I'm a sucker for the relationship as well. *hands her a tissue*
Mike, you are a sweety too. But at risk of letting that get around...*laugh* I agree. Kripke's will be worse. I'm not looking forward to the end of this season and at the same time I can't wait to see it. I love how you mentioned Romeo and Juliet, because Amanda said something about that, and I hadn't even thought about it that way until she mentioned something. *laugh* People reading this are gonna thing something else...but I see what you guys mean. Arriving one minute too late, realizing one did something that the other could have prevented.
Actually you are not the first one to request this be a multi-chapter fic. We'll see how long this summer is after the real finale of S3. Might need to write to keep sane.
Thanks again guys!

Thank you for not letting that get around, have to keep the villian image. Yes, Kripke's will be much worse, I can already feel that, and I too am dreading the finale. Maybe we will be surprised and find out we were wrong. Wouldn't put anything passed that guy.
For the Romeo and Juliet, it is one of the stories that defines tragity, so when a great piece like this comes out and defines tragity I do always like to point that out cause it was brilliant and let us all grabbing for the tissues.
If you do, do a sequel you better let me in on the progress of it. You have me very curious. I have lots to do so I will make this short.
Job well done. You are the fine definition of a writter kiddo, you never fail to lure the readers in and hook them until they have read your work, it takes a lot of talent to do that, and there is no worry. You have accomplished it!!
Ta ta.

Argh!!! I wrote my review and when I went to post, my connection timed out and I lost it all :bang
Anyway... Great story Sojourner!
I really enjoyed this and it got me hooked from the start. I loved the way the story twisted and turned and felt as wrung out as Dean must have been. You've got a great eye for Dean's character and reactions to the situatin as it developed. I liked the way you tied in the Trickster's "lesson".
I would also like to see how this would develop, no matter which direction Kripke goes (and it's a pretty safe bet that it won't be good for either of the Winchesters)....

Thank you, Alena! The more I've thought about it, the more 'm leaning toward making it a into a multi-chapter story, so we'll see. :)
Oh and Kripke is gonna leave us devastated. I can just feel it. It will be worse waiting for S4 than it was waiting for S2 after that S1 cliffhanger...
:hug Take care, girl.

I'm sorry i forgot to write a review! i finished this story like 10 days ago!!! shame shame! lol
i loved this story! you have awesome dreams! i wish i could have dreams with the boys! lol.
anyways, Dean going to hell was so vivid, and it kinda reminded me of that movie, Constantine. Where Keano Reeves (idk if that's how u spell his name) goes down to hell, and u see like a hell version of LA. that's an awesome movie!
i digress...as usual, you captured Dean and Sam's characters perfectly! they act exactly as they would on the show! i love the end when Sam is craddling Dean! that's just such a great picture!
and Dean talking to Lilith, i have a suspicious feeling Kripke will have Lilith hold Dean's contract in the end. the season finale will be one huge showdown that's for sure!
anyways, as usual, GREAT STORY! i always love them! lol. and i know it might seem like i'm just saying that, cause i say it everytime, but i truly mean it! your stories are the best! no denying that! lol. next time you get a story up, please pm me! I'll definately read and hopefully review quicker next time! lol.

Ah! How did I miss this!
Thank you, Rachel! As always your reviews rock my socks off! And I love your signature/banner!
I think you and I are onto something with the Lilith speculations. I just can't see them throwing in a random demon. But they could. *laugh* We'll have to see.
Hope you're doin' well, hun! Catch you around!

It is very good. Is it the end of the story? I hope not. Please tell me.
