Hello all, my username is Chasidern and I have recently joined the site after my niece, 'mizpah, (she has been a member for over a year now) kept nagging me to stop lurking around the fringes.
A few weeks ago I started playing around with some pictures using the software that came with my old flatbed scanner, and have since become hooked on making walls & banners.
So I have been nagged at again and now I have finally found enough courage to post some of my efforts.

They don't conform to any preset size, it's generally if I feel it looks good then that's the size it stays. I tend to keep them simple; don't like 'busy' pictures, though I admire the skill that has gone into creating them, but like most things in life it comes down to personal choice.

This is my very first ever wallpaper, hope you like it.



My niece wanted to use it as a banner for her last story over in fan fiction, horror/demon, so with an added element and the story title, plus a downsize this was the result.


I have a number of walls & banners made so I will post more when I can, that's if you would like to see them. I don't mind sharing, so feel free to save and use as desktops if you wish, but if posting elsewhere please give credit .

Of course, you know I love this one, not just because it was your first one, or that I got a story banner out of it, but it's just a really great wallpaper. It looked so good up as my desktop.

Okay time for some more goodies.
The other weekend Jules & I were up at Yandina, on the sunshine coast, and came across this side road called Jensen Rd.
So we stopped and took a picture of the sign post. Came home and uploaded it to the computer, I teamed it up with one of the Jensen pictures from the Sydney photo shoot, did a little play on words and this is the end result.



And one of Sam; just kept it simple.




This resulted from a little bit of silliness that popped into my head driving home from grocery shopping the other Friday.
Came home got the shopping put away and went trolling for just the right combination of pictures, but I was on a time limit as this was connected to chapter 7 of That’s What Big Brothers Are For. And Jules always updates her current story every Friday afternoon/ night, so I had to get it finished and posted before she put the next chapter up or it wouldn’t work as I already knew what the remaining chapters were and it would not have fitted anywhere else.
Now Jules is a cliff hanger Queen, she nearly always ends a chapter with one.
I’m not good with words like Jules, and never know what to say in reviews so I left it up to Sam & Dean.
Oh it was a full moon, that’s my excuse.

The review according to the boys. Just in case it isn't showing, it's not on my computer but Julie says it is on hers, but anyway to be on the safe side Sam is saying 'maybe'.

Loved all the new art. You did a beautiful job with the Jensen/Jensen Rd one.

I loved the boys' comments after Jules latest cliffhanger, typical of Dean to try and make the most of the situation. They were really funny. I really liked the Sam one as well...even if it is simple you do wonderful work. Looking forward to seeing more. :D

Well it’s Wednesday arvo and don’t feel like doing the rest of the housework so have been playing with the boys instead. If only!

Okay first things first:

Steffs: Thanks I really don’t know where that funny stuff came from, I’m not usually good with words, but it was begging to be done, and poor Jules, I couldn’t stop laughing when she rang me. :jest I don’t know if I could pull that off again.

Deanwinchesterfan 1985: Glad you liked it. The Jensen Rd was a fluke, we have been up that way quite often and never noticed it before. Must have been a sign.. spooky… Yes Dean rarely misses an opportunity. More on the way.

Ms Winchester: Thank you. It’s a bit scary at what pops into my head at times. But the Jensen Rd was spur of the moment, I had already driven past the road and had to reverse back up to it to for Jules to take the picture.

catchme 21: Yesss.. didn’t know Jules had done that, the little bugger. I do tend to stay with the simple style but I just might get more adventurous as I learn more. And no haven’t had enough creativity, and yes I’ll take requests if you like.

Windyfontaine: Glad you liked the package. The transfer is printing and placing the picture on the t-shirt/ pillowslip. I added a few more words to the towel one, will have to post it up here.

I am definitely making more, have to release my creative urges somewhere, been in a bit of a drought lately and no cakes on the horizon either.

Well its Friday evening here, grocery shopping is put away. Dad has been changed into his jimjams, fed, medicated and now is sitting quietly watching tellie.
Brother has gone round the road to the pub.
Insect repellent on to keep the mossies at bay.
I’ve got a nice chilled glass of ‘Black Russian’, large one, and I am about to go play with a couple of gorgeous hunks after I’ve finished posting.

Thought I would throw some more up today as my computer is going to be out of action for a few days while I do a major spring (late) clean in my work room. Then it will be all nice, fresh and tidy ready for some serious mixing. :stir

hobbleit Thanks Jennifer, I liked the last one too, did a couple of versions with different cakes and that one seemed to suit the colouring, Although that particular cake has always been one of my favourites. The roses are made out of icing sugar and it’s all edible, the bride still has the flowers, been six years now, she keeps them in a glass display box, they are still as good as the day I made them.

Deanwhinchesterfan 1985 Hi Candace, wouldn’t it be nice if we could look at the moon and see Dean, I’d be outside all the time.
Oh and I have finished the pillowslip, I used some different pictures but I think you’ll like it, I’ll drop it up to Julie to send on.
