This thread is where i'll track who's in the running and who's dropped out or knocked out...There will be seperate threads for each challenge and then a new thread for the voting of each round

...General rule like stuff....
If you join, you have to post three avatar in each challenge or you will be disqualified.
You are allowed
two skips. The skips allow you to "skip", or miss out, one challenge. perhaps you're out of town...or you forget that you've got LIMS icons to do...
If you're going to use the skip, then PM me (Saiyuki) ahead of time would be nice ^_^, If you fail to post an entry I will count that as one of your skips...instead of Simply Eliminating you as I would have last year...If you have already used them both and skip another round you will be Eliminated.
as the Rounds wil be groups of three Icon Challenges you can only skip one out of the 3 if you need to...you may not use both your skips within one set of 3 rounds as this is unfair to other contenders..if you skip more than one challenge in a set you will be Elimnated.
Participants will be given
5 images each round. From these five images, participants must make
3 icons (100x100 Avatars).
We ask that Contestants post all three of thier icons at once, so it'll lessen confusion. if you don't have all three at the same time simply edit your post and add them in later on, but before the deadline has passed.
After the week is up, the thread will be closed and voting will begin. Since I'm hoping there will be a lot of participants (and icons), we're going to have to separate the icons by groups. Also, because there will hopfuly be many entries, anyone voting should get
2 votes per group. for the first few sets of rounds at least
Once we are down to just 3 contenders per group this will become onevote per group, then when there is only one group of icons then just one vote total
The icon makers with the least amount of votes will be Eliminated. And then the cycle begins again until we whittle it down to our final few, when we will have to up the challenges and increase the icons made.

...or legible text on them...you may use text brushes, or enlarged fonts for effect if you wish, but nothing that can be read...

---You can only use the images provided to make your icons, but may use textures and images for effect...but not if they'r too visible/detract from the supplied images.
