Title: Episode 3.05
Description: Bedtime Stories.

What did everyone think of this episode? I enjoyed it, I loved Sam's drawing, a work in progress :rotfl
The end was pretty scary when you saw the look on Sam's face after he fired. Then we found out it's not the original colt.

I laughed so hard at his picture. It was so cute. I liked this ep but it wasnt my fave.
It also didnt help that i had dad sitting beside me the whole episode saying "hhmmm, yes, they're really struggling for a story at the moment" especially while granny was chopping up that couple. I had to wait for the ad break to tell him to bugger off.

*giggles*

This wasn't the strongest episode, it kinda felt like filler. But there was some good parts to it like Sams drawing. The look on the guys face when he saw it was great. But seriously what did he expect, his description of a normal guy with dark hair with eyes and teeth wasn't the most descriptive!
I really like Sandy McCoy as the CRD, she had that smartass attitude that all demons seem to have but she put a different spin on it, so it didn't come out as a cliche. I have never seen her before but I liked her, she was really good in this episode. Katie Cassidy could learn a thing or two about subtlety from her!
Dean's_Gal - November 13, 2007 04:41 AM (GMT)
I actually thought it was a pretty strong episode.
I like the tension between Sam and Dean and it all started in the begining with them fighting. At the end when Dean wanted Sam to let go of him, that was pretty sad.
I really liked the whole story of the fairytales and relating them back to original's.
Thankyou to whom ever fixed the title too :cheer

I agree with you, the tension between Sam and Dean was great, it was what made the episode interesting for me. The part where he told Sam to let go of him was really sad, but I doubt Sam is going to do that. Sam's confrontation with the CRD was also pretty interesting, he seems to be killing a lot more often now.
The fairytale thing was an interesting idea, though this episode wasn't as strong as other episodes for me. I still enjoyed it though.

It came back more to season 1 storylines I think... which to me isn't a bad thing at all. But they kept the story line of Dean's deal and Sam's eagerness to get him out of it no matter what, which made it more interesting.
dean_an_sam_rock - November 13, 2007 06:16 AM (GMT)
I found it extremely intriguing actually. For once i didnt know what would happen! (damn spoilers... :P )
but i rather enjoyed it.
And for those who didnt spot it - The crossroads demon, who sam SHOT in the head, is his girlfriend Sandra McCoy :) She's so short!
But again - we were robbed of a promo. i LOVE promos. Damn you TEN!
Banjie - November 13, 2007 07:26 AM (GMT)
Bah ha ha ha ha this sound familiar hubby? "HE SHOT HIS GIRLFRIEND"

I LOVED this episode! It had a real Season 1 feel to it, and I love what's going on with our boys at the moment. The two lines that killed me . . . "He killed my brothers, how would you feel?" Sam: "Couldn't imagine anything worse" and "Is that what you want me to do Dean? Just let you go?" and then Dean walking off . . . :cry :cry I have a feeling this is what's to come and it's breaking my heart. My poor boys!
And I loved Dean's lines. "Dude, could you be anymore gay? Don't answer that." and "I'm off to kill the big bad wolf. Never thought I'd ever say that."
Great stuff from the SN team :cheer I want more like it!

gah i know, 2 weeks in a row now. What happened to the channel Ten promos?
smileandwave - November 14, 2007 10:44 AM (GMT)
Yeah I agree, Channel 10 need to do more advertising; surely it wouldn't kill them to show the promos at the end. Maybe the lack of promo was just because it was the finale for Californication straight after (personally I prefer DD in X-files).
I enjoyed the episode, it's getting interesting with the tension between the brothers, with Sam going behind Dean's back, but I also thought the 'bedtime stories' thing was well done & within SN logic (altho' sometimes slightly over-played??).
The last bit with the demon was really good and unexpected - my (male) SN-watching partner especially enjoyed that! I did think that surely Sam would realise there was a risk he would drop dead if he killed the demon, especially given what she had previously told Dean? (would have made a short season though ;) ).
Looking forward to next week...
digital_bean - November 14, 2007 10:51 AM (GMT)
Apparently they aired a promo really late...like when I was sleeping <_< OH YEAH! That's really gonna get some viewers....or perhaps they think it's too scary to be aired during daytime and primetime
So now he's killed the demon, he's going to have quite a challenge finding that boss of hers. Yeah, the way he killed the demon was pretty unexpected. He seems to be killing a lot more, looks like old Yellow Eyes was on to something...

Oh God I hope not! Poor, sweet little Sammy. I wish he'd stop shooting hot chicks!
digital_bean - November 14, 2007 11:23 AM (GMT)
I think they are going to go down the evil Sam path, it's definitely going to have some shock value to it. This whole killing thing is unnerving but intriguing.
supernatch - November 15, 2007 02:10 AM (GMT)
It does bring something different to the show. I am so excited about this season and can't wait to see where it takes us. It sucks that we'll have to wait longer though, and that this season will be shorter :cry Still not quite getting over the writers strike! I reckon us fans should write the epi's!!!
smileandwave - November 15, 2007 04:14 AM (GMT)
I'm not sure if that's definite yet about a shorter season, only if the strike goes on a long time? Hopefully it will get resolved soon & not cause too many problems.
Dean's_Gal - November 15, 2007 04:38 AM (GMT)
I'm pretty sure if it get's resolved before or just after Christmas they should be good to get 22 eppies.
digital_bean - November 15, 2007 07:14 AM (GMT)
Hope for the best. While I prefer a full season, I'm glad Supernatural is here at all. Anyone keeping track of the strike? From what I've read, several actors have shown their support for the writers and even joined in the picketing, but so far nothing towards a resolution.

Oh I hope I hope...crossing my fingers and toes!
Haven't heard anything recently. Should go check up on it!
dean_an_sam_rock - November 15, 2007 10:36 AM (GMT)
They've released sides for up to ep 11, but i believe up to ep 14 is planned.
if this strike doesnt end, we'll get about 11-12 eps, unfortunately ;)

dean_an_sam_rock - November 18, 2007 01:12 AM (GMT)
Fingers crossed hey!
There's news on the main site that talks are scheduled to happen on the 26th, which is a start!
justannanow - November 18, 2007 03:46 AM (GMT)
There is a campaign going on sending pencils to the networks/studios since the writers strike's slogan is Pencils Down. If you go to this site you can send 12 pencils for $1 US. If Jericho fans can do it, why not supporters of the writers?

Yay! And I just realised, no more Idol to run over time before SPN
smileandwave - November 18, 2007 10:22 AM (GMT)
Yes thank goodness, I couldn't care less who wins Idol & it's the last 'City Homicide' on Ch. 7 which presumably means less competition for SN in the future....
I like your signature thingy on your banner digital_bean!!
Also the pencils thing in support of the writers strike is an interesting idea...

Thanks smileandwave! :D The banner was made by somebody at BrigaDean though, it's like a membership badge.
LOL, don't even get me started on City Homocide. Whenever I bring it up, people at school know it's going to be negative. I really hope those people will come over to SPN and get hooked and never want to leave again....
I'd love to help out with the pencils thing, but I don't have a PayPal account or way of paying... <_<
smileandwave - November 18, 2007 10:45 AM (GMT)
Oh yeah, I wouldn't have a clue about the paypal stuff myself - & banners & avatars are way beyond me! (as you can guess) :D
Have a great night, :wave

You too,
I'm hopeless when it comes to visual artistic stuff...I want to get an avi...but I don't want it to just be a circle or square ...
