Okay, I'll have a go at making a seasonal challenge hehehehe.

Write a short blurb on what you think Dean and Sam do at Christmas!

ok Srry I repled to the one you put on the General borad. ok this is what I think: Dean and Sam are in a roadside motel like you said. Then Dean says Merry Chirstmas to Sam becuase it is midnight on Chirstmas Eve. Sam says it back then Ask if he rembmers any Chirstmas's that they had with thier mom before she died and tells him what he rembmers and then Sam start to cry :( beuase Dean tells him how it was with thier mom. Then they get a text from thier dad that says "Merry Chirstmas Boys" then the brothers are up all talking about whats happen in the last two years cuz they haven't done that yet. then they look out side and its snowing and for that night it was like they were normal.

Ok thats what I think they would do/what would happen this Chirstmas.

Wow, that was soooo cool, I liked it alot. As I was reading it I was thinking how cool it would be if we started a post on Deans thoughts, kinda like a diary except of course we know Dean doesnt have a diary but it would be writen like one. So I was debating weather or not I should create a board like that but I didnt want to create one and nobody would like it. But what I thought would be cool about it is anybody can post a "thought" or and "entry" and it would be starting from the first episode to Asylum, until new episodes start. And to avoid and confusion i thought each thought/entry would start with the episode # and name (ie # 4 phantom traveler- I ate a baked potato) Anyway its a working idea so tell me what you think.

I have no clue yet lol! I might get around to writing a snippet before Christmas, or maybe 'At' Christmas when I'm off work.

Max...I've actually started a story that is kind of like a diary, but certainly nothing like your idea of an entry an episode. (Mine is a totally new plot) I like the idea of different writers having a bash too, kind of like a round robin thing. I say go for it. You could either create your own board, or have a thread/forum here.

HI, I've been loving the fanfic here and wanted to write my own. I started a story, but for the life of me I can't think what to do next. Any ideas? Anyone want to take over? I hope it's okay to put this here-should I add that I challenge someone to finish it? Here is what I have so far:

“Sam, drop!”
Sam heard Dean call out to him and years of training kicked in. He immediately ducked to the ground as the rock salt bullets flew over his head to strike the creature he’d been battling square in the heart.
He felt it thud down next to him and he rolled away and into a standing position.
“Not bad, if I do say so myself.” Dean smirked as he observed the perfect bullet placement.
“Yeah, but where were you five minutes ago when it attacked? I was supposed to read the incantation and you were supposed to have my back.” Sam complained
“Uh, about that. See, this pretty girl needed directions just as I was coming into the park-“
“Never mind.” Sam rolled his eyes at his brother.
They were in Cheesequake State Park (it’s just a park near where I live) after a number of mysterious disappearances of hikers had made headlines. Sam had found the story and read about the fact that after a week each hiker had strangely reappeared with no memory of where they had been or how they had gotten there. So far no one had died, but a couple of hikers were still missing, though it had been 5 days so far and their families were hoping they would return as well. After researching the Park and coming up with nothing, Dean and Sam had decided to try a general exorcism of the area. Sam had hiked along the path that the missing hikers had said they followed and brought out his Dad’s journal. Dean had been parking the car and grabbing supplies from the trunk. Sam had expected his brother to be right behind him, and when he felt a presence assumed it was Dean. When he turned around to look, a large furry arm had swiped at him.
“You okay?” Dean asked, looking him over.
Sam dusted himself down.
“Fine. It didn’t touch me.”
He looked down at the still brown lump.
“You think it’s dead?” he asked Dean.
The lump twitched, and the brothers could hear a low growl.
“I’d say that’s a no.” Dean replied.
They backed away carefully.
“Did you happen to bring regular bullets?” Sam asked his brother.
“If I say no, will you distract it till I get back?”
“No.” Sam replied.
Dean grinned. “Good thing I brought a back-up, then.” He said as he drew a pistol from behind his back, aiming it at the slowly rising creature.
It bared its teeth at them, then suddenly lunged up and disappeared into the trees surrounding them.
Dean had been able to only get off one shot, which missed.
“What was that thing, anyway?” he muttered.
“It looked like a bear, but it didn’t behave like one. Do you think that’s what took our missing hikers?” Sam asked as the brothers tried to follow the not-bear’s path.
“Well, seeing as you were hiking and it tried to grab you, there’s a good chance it is. I don’t understand, though. Unless it somehow knocks the hikers out and they get amnesia and after a week wander back home-“
Dean shook his head. “It isn’t like any animal attack I’ve ever heard of.” A sudden thought brightened his outlook. “You think maybe a spook possessed a bear? Did it act possessed?”
Sam snorted. “No, it acted like it wanted to eat me.”
“Maybe it isn’t our hiker-snatcher, then. Might as well see for sure though.”
The brothers followed a path of broken branches, their senses alert.
After a few minutes Dean wrinkled his nose.
“What’s that smell?” he asked.

That's it. I just sat down and saw the words and typed them and now I have no idea where to go. I don't even know what creature it is they're after. I don't want to copy anything anyone here is doing, so, help?

Cheesequake? :huh: Cool. its very good, Bear kinda narrows what it could be, but not too much. Smell could be just about anything... Blood, corpses, other nasty yet fun stuff, the dismembered hikers' decapitated bodies. Maybe something happens to Sam? Angst is always good. Maybe we could see if a few diff people would try to write different endings for the story, since its the same beginning could be interesting to see how they compare... I wouldn't mind trying it...
Just off the top of my head, that's what I thought of :lol:

Wow, thanks for your replies! Marra88, thanks for the ideas, I'll try to think what I could add. I like your idea about different authors adding their own endings and seeing how the story differs from other thought processes. I just got really stuck. If you'd like to add your own ending please feel free, I want to read it too! I'm in the middle of writing a crossover fic not related to Supernatural and thought if I started something else it would get the creative juices flowing. Have a great day :)

Okay, if anyone wants to add their own ending do feel free, but I was able to write a bit more and I'll post it in the fanfic section as The Bear. Work in progress though :)

Ummm.....
Sam and Dean are in a hotel in Iowa. Dean wakes up on Christmas Eve and takes a shower. He comes out of the shower with a pair of jeans on, and Sam is still sleeping. Dean begins to decorate the room with candy canes and lights, while singing jingle bells. "Jingle bell, jingle bells, jingle all the way, Sam get up and help me! I don't know the rest of the words!" Sam pulls his pillow over his head. Dean sings louder " Oh what fun it is to RIDE!!!" The last word is very high pitched. Sam throws the pillow at Dean and says " Dean, you have the worst singing voice" "I know" Come on Sammy, it's Christmas have a little fun. " Dean I was sleeping" "And now you're not. Here SAm I got you something" "Dean, you didn't have to do that I.." "Shut it College boy, and open it" Sam pulls off the wrapping paper off of a small box. When he removes the lid there is a picture frame, with a picture of Sam and Jessica. Sam looks at it and starts to tear up. "Sam we aren't having a chick moment" "Here Dean I got you something too" SAm hands Dean a box, Dean opens it and finds a book. "What is this, are you trying to turn me into a college boy?" "Open it" Dean opens the front cover and finds family pictures. "Oh, wow." "Thanks Sammy." "Yeah, thanks Dean" "Alright, lets get this started, have some eggnog Sam." "Eggnog?" " Yeah, spiked eggnog"

I'd like to see a fanfic of Sam and Dean on an intense hunt where everything gets out of control and in the end the "creature" or whatever gets killed. The boys semi argue who actually killed it. Dean claims the glory but Sam denies it...."I think you missed....unless I shot myself.." Yikes! (ie...Dean accidentally shot Sammy by mistake....oh, the angst!)

I wonder if anyone could make a fanfic version of Supernatural Origins. I'm not that into comics but I certainly want to know the story. Even though I don't read comics I have looked for it but have been unable to find it anywhere. So I would really appreciate it if someone wrote out the story for me. Thanks.

I was on imdb.com that Jared loves chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream but he's lactose intolerant... when I see Sam eat I never see him eat dairy products or drink any milk... I'd like to see a fanfic when he somehow eats or drinks a dairy product (maybe he lost a bet with Dean or something... if that's the case it might be gross like icecream and musterd) he gets sick... later on he finds out that he is lactose intolerant

I have a fanfic challenge :evil

Who would like to write a story about Sam in the four months after Dean dies where a girl picks him up for a one night stand?

Elements within the story:

Sam needs to be limp, maybe a little drunk, perhaps he's been in a fight, maybe caught being really sad, - whatever, you choose. He's already down and now he's having a really bad night. She's gonna help make it better for a little while.

Oh and it has to be raining. :D

I don't know id\f this is the place to post it but I was wondering if anyone could write a story to either Sam or Dean having the Chicken Pox, mumps, meesles, etc.

how about a story a story in which Sam is colorblind (only sees in black and white) and has dyslexia but Dean doesn't know

ever since Mary Worthington made him bleed from his eyes (twice) he had been colorblind but is able to keep that a secret too but for how long

he also has panic attacks that triggers an asthma attacks but he hasn’t had either one since he was a kid and Dean is glad for that until he had one when Jack Montgomery locked Sam in a closet (he’s also claustrophobic)

even though Sam doesn’t need them any more Dean still keeps his inhalers just in case
