Just a question and i dont want to send anyone into a blind panic here,but, in the advert for the finale on itv2 that kittsbud has posted on the fron page,the announcer says 'stunning series finale' not 'season' 'series'...... they are showing this next season arent they?They surely are gonna bring back their most popular show...right?......

ITV 2 don't really do a lot to promote the show and with these mistakes they keep making on the website..... Maybe they just ain't interested in having SN for another season :angry: .

Don't worry, mags. This is because in The U.K we don't have television 'seasons', that's just an American term, we have television 'series', but they equate to the same thing. (Although I did see that the last Doctor Who episode was referred to as 'Season finale' the other day so the Americanism is beginning to creep in here. ) So 'series finale' here just means the end to S2, not the show as a whole. :)

Oh Phew!Thats ok then..lol..over here they do call it season finale so when i heard series i thought oh no please dont let them start doing what tv3 did to a wonderful show!I guess some emails to thank itv2 and letting them know how much we love the show would do no harm eh?

I think sending emails would be a very good idea. Just to subtley keep the pressure on them to buy S3. :lol:

Personally I would prefer it if sci-fi picked up S3, they DO promote their shows and run pretty much on time and are just a heck of a lot better than ITV2!

Let the email campaign begin (even though they've said they have the season, i still want them to know how in demand the series is!!)

The only problem with Sci-Fi is that it's not available on Freeview - so that would probably halve the audience (at least!)

I cant get Sci Fi either....

So yeah, I don't think it's always a good thing lol!

And also it wouldn't really be fair on the fan's who haven't got the channel.

So the show is gaining fans, great! ITV" does get up my nose as well but I don't want it to go to sci-fi as I'm moving soon and probably won't get that channel. Plus I totally agree with the whole freeview thing.

ITV do suck but it's much better than it being on Sci-Fi cause i wouldn't be able to watch it and I don't think I would be able to cope without it lol

It's okay there's no way it will be shown on Sci-Fi, we already know ITV have bought seasons 3 & 4 so were safe with it on ITV for another 2 seasons! :cheer

I'm so glad that they show it on ITV1 as well as I missed the second series on ITV2 (Don't ask!) and am currently catching up. I bought saeson 2 part one on DVD but I figured I'd better watch it on ITV1 just to add to the viewing figures! Anyone know how the DVD sales are going?

Hi, that's really interesting - so, are you a member of the viewing figures panels?
How do you record your viewing, is it a paper-based thing (like Neilsen in the US, where they post them off every week) or an online questionnaire? I find the signer annoying on ITV1 though, it's worse than the channel logos.

The DVD was "TV show of the week" in Sainsbury when it first came out, but it's cheaper in Tesco at the moment.
