This is a great chapter, not only does Dean have to fight his inner demon but he KNOWS Sam is wary of him too.That just kills him.

Great start to this episode, guys! The Devil totally freaks me out and I'm sure that's what you were going for. The battle with Dean and the demon is getting more intense and I really hope Dean is able to keep it under control, at least for Sam's sake.

Truly awesome start. Love that we're seeing some Dean angst. Always up for that, and it is so rare for him to voice it like that.

When Sam was looking up the Devil, I was half expecting him to say that two FBI agents named Mulder and Scully had investigated a Jersey Devil sighting some years back! That would be a cool crossover, X-Files and Supernatural!

Was an excellent start of the story, cannot wait for the next part. I always love some Dean angst, it is so rare and I really loved all the focus he got and the internal struggle. Great stuff.

great second chapter...evil cliffie though! boy, sam and dean both went down like a sac of potatoes so fast at the end...usually they'r good for a couple of blows before they're down...but it is hard to stay up when you're facing a Louie slugger! again, great job with the chapter...i'm on the edge of my seat until the next one!!! :D

I know what you mean Iris but I'm the same way. Kick the crap out of the adults but don't hurt children or animals. I sure shot that philosophy to hell in this one....

Ooohhhh, nice cliffie. I have a feeling Dean's Demon Powers are the only thing that'll save him coz, dude, taking a blow to the side of the head with a baseball bat and then being kicked across the floor is not something ordinary men generally recover from too well. ;)

Aww, poor Dean. He's really having a tough time keeping that demon under control. I also, wonder what wil happen to Dean once they figure out how to get the demon out of him. Will it be like Meg once he's been exorcised? His body injuried like ten-fold from the beatings he took from before?

Oooh awesome job guys! That confrontation between Sam and Demon/Dean was really intense! It's obvious Dean can't last much longer, I can't wait to see how that all plays out. Also, another great ending....I had my suspicions about the fate of the McGregor baby! Should be interesting to see how the boys handle this one!

I had completely forgotten about the Meg part where after the demon got exozised (is that spelled right) she died because of her injuries. Completely slipped my mind and now I am wondering what this means for Dean. I mean I think he did not get any mortal injuries, but he did get a severe beating and that punch in the head could not have been good. But then again, he has an advantage over Meg, his amulet so maybe that will help him. I cannot wait to see what will happen once he gets rid of the demon and I do hope it will be soon. Sam is surely smarter than making a deal with the demon because if Haris could have gotten his 'child' out of Dean before, he would have done so by now. So I am thinking Haris is just bluffing. I cannot wait to read the next part. Really awesome work.

Oh yeah, forgot to say that the fight scene between Sam and demon Dean was excellent. Just great.

Great work T & T, loved the fight between Sam and sort-of-possessed Dean, and I love the way you keep hinting at the terrible consequences of Dean being injured while he has the demon inside him....everything looks okay now, but what about later? If there is a later! Well done, looking forward to the finale!

Woohoo, the demon's gone :woohoo ! But Sam made a deal :cry !! What did he do? Is he fooling the demon or fooling Dean? It's not possible for Dean to be separated from the talisman!!

Great story, and I believe they did the right thing in leaving the child with the Jersey Devil! The only real love he's ever known!
