God, it just keeps getting better n better!!! Croatoan looks hot!!!

This epi was really great. Really enjoyed watching it. I am a Dean girl, but I really felt for Sam at the end when he asked Dean if he really would go through with the demon deal. That look on his little puppy dog face made my heart melt!

I think Dean needs to wake up a little and see what he still has, and that is an awesome brother. He's angry at his Dad for sacrificing himself to save his son's life, but Dean knows he'd do the same thing if one of his family members needed it.

I really, really hope John isn't in hell. He deserves the Pearly Gates for all the lives he's saved, even if it was ultimately a selfish agenda.

Totally loved the acting by EVERYONE in this epi. Can't wait till next wait, how awesome was that promo!!! :clap

i was a tad confused when they showed the soon preview...thats what they showed the americans before they went on the two week hiatus..at first i thought SN wasnt coming back!

edwina rekons it was a time filler...but then the croatoan preview looked awesome

OK, I know you people liked the promo (loved the soon preview) but does anyone else hate channel 10's promotions for this season? To me they always seem so tacky, misleading and juvenile.

No offense pencil2b - everyone is allowed an opinion!! :P .
I actually like Tens promotion of the show, especially a couple of weeks ago when they used "Straight Lines" from silverchair to promote (I think) No Exit and The Usual Suspects. I think I am also influenced by the fact that I belong to a few American-based boards, and they are always moaning about how the CW (the American network that airs the show) does little or no promotion of the show; and what promotion they do is pretty crap. I know some people who are in the states and have seen Tens website with their promos, including the general station "I believe" promos, and think it is fantastic promotion of the show - certainly compared to what it gets over there. :D

Of course, there is always room for improvement :). As for being misleading - well, I dont think I have come across a show yet that doesnt do that!!

super_aus- I love the "I believe" promo's, I think there awesome and great to just get Supernatural's name out there. :D I just hate the voice overs for Australian promos.

Side note, I think the CW does great promos, I loved their promos for ep 9, 11, and 15.

I thought this ep was ok, i prefered last weeks ep better. But this ep was just explaining stuff and a lot of dean and sam drama which is the way i like it. How good does next weeks ep look?? Soon we will find out what John said to Dean before he died.. can't wait must know... :blink:

on response to the promos. I like them at least they show them a lot people in the Us, were complaining that the show is never advertised. So at least ten advertises supernatural a lot

Coz it would have been too short if TEN cut it out, I liked it

And pencil2b I think ur right, the promos they do are crap, they mislead u and it almost like they dont watch the episode b4 they come up with a script for it.
However like super_aus, they do a good job promoting the show, there are always lots of promos and I LOVE THE I BELIEVE POAW!!!!!!!!!

i'm extremely surprised at tens interest in supernatural

no offense to the show....but i never expected even half the promotion they've been giving it.

i think that their 'i believe' promos are one of the best ideas yet; i love how it involves all overseas dramas, and what they say relates to their show.

very, very effective promotion.

but i've been loving ten's promo for each week! sure, they can be slightly misleading, but think about it: people could get interested, check it out, love it, and stay for the ride!

I agree that Channel 10's promos are always misleading, and the epi never turns out to be what you expect. I found the same thing with Smallville. But once the show starts I instantly forget the promos and settle in for the ride!! :D :car

That is very true - us diehard fans will always watch no matter what the promo is (case in point - I saw this ep months ago, and have a copy I can watch any time - but I still tuned in!!), but its getting the channel surfers sucked in and staying tuned that is the challenge.

This is how I got sucked into it - I had seen the promo for the pilot, and didnt think much of it. I just happened to be watching whatever was on before it premiered (and I cant remember what that show was now - LOL), was too lazy to change the channel and I was mildly interested in the first couple of minutes......watched for the next couple of weeks and was completely hooked (and obsessed :P ) and have been ever since.

Topic - I loved, loooved this episode. Even though we had guessed what Papa Winchester had done for Dean, to have it spelt out by the demon was creepy. And Jensen in that whole scene when the demon was telling him that his misery was the point etc etc - he just rocked. And I laughed very loud when Sam was with Evan and the hellhounds were at the door - and he did this little girly hop into the circle of goofer dust :lol: :lol: . Now, all those Samgirls out there - dont start posting nasty things about me LOL. This season I am as much a fan as Sam as I am of Dean - but that little hop into the circle cracks me up no matter how many times I see it!

haha, I did the same thing. If i recall correctly I think it was maybe Charmed on at 9:30, not sure :unsure:

hey does anyone know what the name of the song is thats playing during the "soon" preview?? because that was a HOT HOT HOT song!!! i want it so bad lol!!

well they may be miss leading, but still they do a good job in hooking me in every week...even if it is taken out of context. I just like seeing the clips of our boys that i've never seen before. (clips of the next ep i mean)
I liked the american ad ..it was cool, twice the footage. was it just me or was their ads longer than ours?

their ad was longer because it was shown when the 2 week hiatus began. it also promotes Croatoan AND Hunted.

after that preview, SN went away for 2 weeks, then after croatoan the hiatus came, and a month later they saw Hunted i believe.

So, it was longer because it probably killed the americans more to wait for them to come! :P lol

They r sooo tight for teasing them like that!

Particularly HOT Dean one I thought!!! :fire :thud :fire The scene when theyr`e in the hallway talking about how Papa might have made a deal with the demon, Dean has this mouth thing going on ................ and it makes me stick to my pants!!!!!! :thud

When he says to demongal "Shut your mouth bitch" ..... GUH!!!!!!!! :thud

The myspace line was freakin HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I also thought it was genuinally scary in parts, I remember the first time I saw it when Evan`s wife face changed I screamed!!!! :lol: :lol:

I loved the flashbacks too, very cleverly done. Totally recommend Robert Johnson`s music, absolutely awesome man.

This is incredible! The whole ep! The music, the acting the dialogue and the storyline

I love the angst but the way the writers mix it with humour is genius! Dean and the humping black dog and the myspace is just LOL!!!!!!

And poor Sam, wanting to be just as wanted as Dean by the FBI!! PMSL!

The fact that this story brings about the horror of what their Dad did for Dean, the guilt he must be feeling just breaks my heart and i love how Sam knows whats going on in his brothers head. More so than in season one he seems able to read him better and i love that Dean opens up to him, even just a little.

The demon woman at the end had great chemistry with Jensen and the look he gives her when he turns round just sets me on fire. But to find out how distraught Dean has become and how he's finding it hard to carry on is just heartbreaking. To see the pain in his eyes. Jensen does an incredible job of showing Dean trying to keep the walls and the swagger on show yet we can tell from his eyes how close to the truth the demon gets. Cuts right to the quick.

And that kiss is just sexy as hell!

Ethan is a great character and i think his story really adds to the emotions.

Scariest ep yet what with the hell hounds. The fact we don't see them puts my imagination in overdrive
And the end convo in the car, seeing how scared and hurt Sam is when Dean doesn't answer kills me. Jared does such a great job with that.

So glad they kept in the 'coming soon' part!! Nazareth rule and that song deserved to be played!! Thankgod we don't have hiatus in this country!! PMSL!!

oh yeah Dean was hell of a hottie!!! :lol: i love him when he was talking with that demongal...:thud right away :lol: oh and at the beginning when he and Sam were at this crossroad and he was telling him about this stuff :lol: so hot...

Liked the demon, she was cool. Poor Dean, he was utterly torn wasn`t he? Was it my imagination or was it cut before the kiss? I`m sure it wasn`t like that (straight to it) when I first saw this and I wouldn`t be surprised if it was cut cos it was very jerky tonight and went off for about 10 seconds on a really crucial part of a convo with her and Dean :rant

Overall an unusal but great episode. Loved the clips at the end for the next couple of eps :D
