I cant honestly say I have a favourite. I love every episode, but for different reasons. For some, its the action/interaction/reaction between dean and Sam, and also John. In others its the way the whole episode appeared. I would happily watch every episode over and over. I suppose I should say the pilot episode, as that caught my attention, very quickly.

Like how is it possible NOT to like any of the episodes??? Favourites are so....not easy to choose. Anytime the guys are in a scene (any scene) TOGETHER- I'm like all ears. Twist my arm - you'd get "HellHouse" because it really oozed with such brotherly complexities. It covered many angles of the boys - but one standout for me was how Dean 's "pranks" were meaner to whatever Sam could come up with. I love them (writers) to keep up the continuity like that. Another thing was Dean never lets up on showing his status as "big brother" . In the end how pyschologically true it was that "little brother Sammy" couldn't even call a truce on the pranks LOL. For Dean it was like "I started it , I'll end it." I tell you Jared and Jensen are getting SCARILY SEXIER :)

Pffff can't choose yet, maybe after I watched SS1 a couple of times.
but I thought that the Season got better the further whe got into it.
especially the last two eps.
and in devils trap, I knew that truck was comming, and it still shocked me.

My fave from season 1 would have to be Bloody Mary, little bit of scare, little nit of angst (sammy angst! woot!) and a little good ole brotherly moments.

i jut watched the first 8 episodes of the first season, i can't wait for the others, but my fave among them is Bloody Mary or the pilot
but i agree with tristanrose - we can't see supernatural without loving EACH ONE of the episodes!

I can't really choose my favorite from season one but, if I have to pick it would be between Faith & Hell House, but I love all of them <3

I think my top 3 favourite episodes would ahve to be:

3. The benders
I thought this episode was new and fresh it took a step back from supernatural ghosts and demons and showed other freaky things that weren't exactly supernatural but supernatural related.

2. The pilot
I loved this episode! This epsiode showed how the show was going to be kind of like a fresh sip of juice you only had a little but you have a idea of how it tastes and that was exactly how this was

1. Provenace
This episode felt like sam had finaly found someone that not only he loved but most viewers loved her too! Not only was she beautiful and knowledable sam like her and that hadn't happened for a long time and I am guessing viewers felt this xcitment in there hearts when they kissed at the end of the episode cause they knew that he had been waiting for a girl like her for a long time!

Those would have to be my favs!

"Hell House" is definatly my favorite episode from Season 1.
I love every minute of it and you summed it up pretty well.

I can't really say...I love them all!! I do love the pilot, as it was the first one ever that I saw...But yeah, love 'em all!! :D I liked being scared, and deff found 'scarecrow' spooky because I'm freaked at scarecrows and clowns!! And after watching Bloody Mary, I didn't want to look into mirrors for too long...

In my time of dying is my fave. very intense which I like

uhm my favorite ones are;
1. The Usual Suspects. - i just like everhing about it.. the storyline, the quotes... everything. :D
2. Salvation/ Devil's Trap - because they are awesome. i love meg in these episodes ahah she was so badass. :P
3. scarecrow. - i liked the plot.

I haven't been through all the episodes yet, but I love Jensen's comedic timing and faces on Phantom Traveler. I could constantly re-watch his phobic scenes. It's really brilliant ticks he plays out in his character. Hilarious no matter the 30,624th time or the first time.

I'm going to have to do a top 5 list, because that's all I can narrow it down to! :lol:

Faith-i thought it was so sweet how sam was taking care of Dean and being really worried about him and scared that he was going to die, it was a change to see sam in the sort of 'protector' role. :rolleyes:

Hell house- i thought this episode was hilarious and it really showed that even though there was loads going on in their life they could still have a laugh together as typical brothers do. :)

I love them all expect for "Home". I didn't like Missouri and the way she abused Dean.

:car I luv ALL THE EPISODES, but my four favs would have to b born under a bad sign and all hell breaks loose in season 2 and in season 1 faith and devil's trap

My favorites from season one:

Well let me just start off by saying I loved them all but if I had to narrow them down this is what they would be:

1. Pilot- It set up the whole adventure and was the basis for the whole show plus it gave you a mix of everything you were going to see throughout the rest of the season (humor, creepiness, brotherly love, etc.)

2. Skin- I don't really know why this is one of my favs but I just love it and I've seen it like a million times, of course i've seen most of the episodes close to that much too. But if I had to come up with a reason it would have to be all about the brothers and that big fight at the end between Sam and fake Dean. This fight showed that Sam could indeed handle himself fairly well and yet we still got to see the older brother save the day. OH and that look that Dean gave the shapeshifter right before he shot him was priceless cuz he let the shifter know that he had seriously messed up. Can I just say that an angry Dean is really sexy!!!

3. The Benders- It was mainly Dean-centric and it helped to show everyone just how much Dean truly cares about his brother plus the dedication he has to protecting him. It gave us insight into why he watches over Sam like a mother hen and basically gave us a big glimpse into the soul and heart of Dean Winchester. Oh and let's not forget that it also let our boys know that not only do you have to watch out for monsters but for people too.

I guess I will stop there because if I continue then there is a good chance that I will end up putting the reason why I like every episode so yeah. Let's just leave it at this I have many many favorite episodes and here is the reason that these 3 are on that list!!!!

Wow, I just can't say all of them? Hmmm, I guess in season 1, I'm gonna have to pick Asylum and Devil's Trap. For season 2, BUABS, WIAWSNB, and both parts of the season finale. But I won't turn down an opportunity to watch any episode.

My favorite season 1 episode has to be... Hell House because is so funny when dean puts the spoon in sams mouth, and the pilot because it kicks the show off with a good start.

Route 666! I'm a car nut so, this was an easy choice

I'd say, that they all are good, but... I loved the episode What is, and what should never be. It's my favourite, because it was both funny and sad. But first season's best is Pilot, absolutely!

My favourite episode from series 1 was definitely skin as I loved seeing Dean be evil!

Also loved Dead in the Water, Dean's compassion to the little boy certainly tugged at the heart strings.

Home and Asylum also feature in my favourites of the series.
