Well, here it is Dani fans. The Devil's Game has officially begun.

Thanks honey!

Ok, so most of you know the drill. I'll try to update every weekend. I'm working on another fanfiction, but that shouldn't interfere with me updating this one because I'm updating them on different nights. Usually, Dani gets updated Friday nights. Writer's block is my sworn enemy and I get it, like, every 3rd or 4th chapter.

To understand what's going on in this fanfiction, you need to have read the first six...yes six...fanfictions. This is the seventh in a line of eight fanfictions.

Elemental Death

Showtime

In My Time of Dying

Blood Ritual

Enter Sandman

Changes

Of Wolf and Man

However, if you're new to TDC(The Dani Chronicles) you can PM me and I can give you a play-by-play of what's happened so far.

So, I really hope you enjoy this fanfiction. It is a Charmed/Supernatural crossover, so it should be pretty good.

Hope you like!

~Jessie~

The Devil’s Game

Setting: January 2012

Chapter One

Previously in The Dani Chronicles…

“You can’t save me.” Dani told him.

“No? I can try, can’t I?” Dean asked buying time.

“I don’t think you can.” She said.

“Why not?” He hit the brick wall of a building.
Crap. He thought.

“You won’t be alive.” Dani opened her hand and a silver long-bladed knife appeared. She shoved it at Dean and before he could move away he found himself in pain. He yelled out as pain took over his body. He had never felt pain like this. He slowly got weak as the pain increased. The lightning flashed overhead and a clap of thunder met their ears.

Rain suddenly began to pour as Kali came to. She looked up at Dean and Dani and saw the knife in Dean’s abdomen.

“NO!” She screamed. “DEAN!” She stood up quickly and as she ran toward him,
Dani pulled the knife out and Dean fell to his knees, then to his stomach. Kali ran
up to Dani and kicked her in the side, causing her to fall. She smirked and disappeared. As Kali whipped around to face Dean, her wet hair stuck to her cheeks. She pushed it aside and ran to Dean.

She kneeled down in the dirt and turned Dean over on his back. The stab wound was large and bleeding freely, though the rain was washing it away, causing blood rivers in the mud. She took off her jacket to stop the bleeding. It was only thing she could think of. She was panicking and shaking with fear.

“D-Dean. Y-you gotta stay-stay with me.” She said, tears falling from her eyes.

“K-K-Kali.” Dean stuttered. He was shaking already from the loss of blood. “T-t-tell S-S-Sam-Sammy-.”

“I’m not telling him anything you can’t tell him yourself.” Kali sobbed. Dean smiled slightly before his eyes slowly closed and his head fell to one side. “Oh no. Dean! Wake up!” Kali gently slapped Dean’s cheeks as tears fell down her face faster. “Dean! Wake up, dammit! Oh my god.” She rose her head up to the sky. “Help!” She yelled into the rain soaked night. “Someone please help us!” She screamed. Tears streamed down her face as she yelled.

But no one came.

Now...

Kali splashed cold water on her face and breathed deeply, willing herself not to start crying again. She looked into the mirror and the girl staring back had red eyes and cheeks from crying for so long. She also had wet hair and damp clothes from the raging storm outside.

Please, God, let Dean be alright. She said to herself. She chocked back tears.

She didn’t know how long she and Dean had been out in the rain before someone came to their aide. But it must have been a while because when help finally came, the sun was slightly visible through the dark clouds. The garbage man had found them and called 911. Fifteen minutes had found Dean on a stretcher and Kali holding his hand in an ambulance rushing them to Burbank Memorial. The doctors took Dean away and that was the last time Kali saw him. Three hours ago.

Meanwhile, she used the hospital phone to call Sam and Laurie. She knew Sam’s phone was still sitting on the dining table in Dean’s kitchen, so she called Laurie’s cell only to get the voicemail every time. She had called more times than she could count and left four crying messages telling them to call her so she could tell them what happened. She hadn’t moved from the phone in case they called back. They hadn’t.

She checked the clock and picked up the phone once again. But this time she called Sam’s cell in case he had gotten it back somehow. She dialed his number and wiped tears away as the phone rang.

“Hello?” Sam’s voice came.

“S-Sam?” Kali said.

“Kali? Are you ok?”

“How did you g-get your phone b-back?”

“I went back for it. Kali, what’s wrong?” Sam asked.

“D-Dean -.”

“Dean? What’s wrong?” Kali began to sob again. “Calm down, Kali. What
happened?”

“D-Dani followed us after you left. She c-corned us in an alleyway and -.” She
took a deep breath, but didn’t continue.

“And what?”

“She stabbed him, Sam.”

“Wh-what?”

“She tried to kill him.”

“Is he ok?”

“I-I don’t know. They haven’t told me anything. He wasn’t awake when they took him.”

“Where are you?”

“Burbank Memorial.”

“Ah, our favorite hospital. Alright. Um, we’re in a hotel about fifty miles outside of town. We’ll be there as soon as we can.”

“Not all of you. You’re too easy a target if you’re all in town together.”

“Why did you make us leave?”

“I’ll tell you when you get here.” Kali said.

“Fine. I’ll be there as soon as I can.”

Kali hung up the phone and waited for Sam. It wasn’t until almost an hour later he came running through the double doors. Kali stood up when she saw him.

“Sam!” She yelled across the waiting room. Sam looked over at her and they met in the middle in a hug.

“Have you heard anything?” Sam asked, pulling away.

Kali shook her head.

Sam took a deep breath.

“Are you ok?”

“I’m fine. Scared.”

“Yeah.” Sam said softly. He took her in a hug again and guided her over to the
chairs. They sat in silence for about half an hour.

“Kali?” Sam said.

“Hmm?” Kali replied. She was trying to sleep a little because crying had made
her exhausted.

“Thanks. For being there.” Sam said.

Kali opened her eyes and faced him.

“If he dies, I’ll never forgive myself.”

“It’s not your fault.”

“Haven’t you noticed that everything evil Dani has done is my fault? I
turned her. I set her on the way to being evil and by the time I turned, it was too
late to turn her back. Everything she has done, and everything she has yet to do,
is my fault.”

“No, It’s not.”

“Whatever.” Kali said. She closed her eyes and leaned against the wall again.

“You can think whatever you want, but it’s not your fault.”

Kali was about to argue with him when the electric double doors leading to the rest
of the hospital opened. Dean’s doctor walked out and Sam and Kali jumped to
their feet.

“Dr. Moore!” Kali called after him. The dark haired doctor turned around and
walked back to Kali and Sam. He was a man in his late twenties. He had brown
hair visible under his cap and light green eyes. He stood at about six feet, three
inches.

“How’s Dean?” Sam asked.

Dr. Moore pointed to Sam and looked at Kali.

“Brother?” He asked. Kali nodded and Dr. Moore faced Sam. “I’m not gonna sugarcoat this for you. Dean’s in a coma.”

Sam suddenly went weak at the knees but he did his best to keep straight. Kali’s eyes filled with tears.

“He’s in critical condition. We’ve managed to stop the bleeding but the knife went through his liver slightly. It’s amazing he’s as alive as he is. We’re doing everything we can, but if he doesn’t respond to it, he may not wake up.”

Tears fell down Kali’s cheeks as Sam attempted to stay strong.

“C-can we see him?” Sam asked.

Dr. Moore hesitated for a moment and finally nodded.

“Sure. What the hell?” He turned on heel and walked through the double doors,
Sam and Kali hot on his trail. He led them down the pasty white hallway and about
three hundred yards down, he turned right. This led them through two gray doors
that opened into a V shaped hallway. The doctor took the left corridor and led them to the fifth door. He opened the door and let Sam and Kali walk in.

Dean was lying on the bed attached with tubes and wire. Slow beeping from the heart monitor filled the room as Dr. Moore shut the door. Sam sat on the bed next to his brother’s legs.

Gazing at Dean’s lifeless face made Sam feel useless. He had never seen Dean like this. It scared the hell out of him because he didn’t know what to do. Did he sit there or did he try and find a way to save him like Dean had for him? He didn’t know which would make him a worse brother: dying for Dean, or letting Dean die because Sam couldn’t make the deal his brother had. It was a year ago all over again, but this time it was switched.

Sam heard Kali sob behind him. Sam bowed his head and blinked away tears.

“D-Dean? Can you hear me?” Sam asked his brother.

“Can people in a coma hear?” Kali asked.

“I don’t know.” Sam said quietly.

“How are we gonna get Dani back?”

“We need to find those sisters. Maybe they can heal-heal Dean.” Sam
said. “Hey, what about little Dean?”

“No. They have to stay hidden.”

“Why?” Sam asked. “What’s after them?”

Suddenly the beeping from the heart rate monitor increased and other beeping
noises went off. Sam jumped off the bed.

“Kali, get the doctor.” Sam said. Kali stood there in fear. Sam turned around to face her. “Kali!” Kali jumped and ran to the door. She opened it and ran out into the hallway.

“Help! We need help!” She yelled. Half dozen doctors came running, including
Dr. Moore. One doctor was carting a deliberator. Kali stayed in the hallway, out of the way. But she couldn’t say the same for Sam.

“Sir, you’ll have to leave.” A female voice came through the door.

“No. He’s my brother.” Sam replied.

“I’m sorry. You have to leave.”

“I’m not leaving him!” Sam yelled.

“Get him the hell out of here.” Two doctors took hold of Sam and pushed him
from the room. He struggled, of course, but try as he might, the doctors still
pushed him out and shut the door behind him.

Having nothing to do but wait, Sam and Kali walked down the hall to some chairs and sat down. Sam sat for about a two seconds before standing up and pacing.
Kali sat hunched over with her head in her hands, crying again. Neither knew what to do, so they sat there.

It seemed like a lifetime had passed when the doctor walked out ten minutes later. Sam looked up and saw him walking down the hall and tapped Kali to get her attention. She looked up and saw Dr. Moore coming and stood up.

Dr. Moore walked up to them with a look of remorse on his face.

“Well?” Sam asked.

“I’m so sorry. We lost him.”

I'm glad you all liked the first chapter. Here is number two. I had the chapter in my head for a long time, and I couldn't wait to write it. I also have the third chapter in my head, so expect it soon too.

This is a little bit of a tear jerker, I think...so beware.

Enjoy!

Chapter Two

Sam’s eyes immediately filled with tears and his legs became jello. He collapsed to the floor as tears fell from his eyes. It hadn’t been this bad before. He was pissed before he was sad. He didn’t think he had ever cried this much in his entire life, but he couldn’t stop no matter how hard he tried.

Kali rubbed his back with one hand while the other covered her face.

“Would you like a private-?” Dr. Moore began.

“No.” Sam said quickly. “I want to see my brother.”

“Sam -.” Kali began.

“I want to see my brother!” Sam yelled. Kali and the doctor jumped at his sudden outburst and Dr. Moore agreed. Sam stood up and walked down the hall. Kali followed him until they reached the door. She stood outside and watched through the window as Sam sat on the bed.

He watched his brother’s lifeless form in silence. The room was eerily quiet without all the beeping and other noises. He wiped away his tears, knowing that if
Dean were watching him cry he would haunt Sam forever. He sniffed and breathed in deeply.

“I’ll get her, Dean, I promise. If I have to kill her, I will. She won’t get away with this.” He said quietly. “Why didn’t you hold on? Why did you leave us? Leave me?” Tears appeared in Sam’s eyes again, but he blinked them away. “How could you leave me alone, Dean?” I’m an only child now. He thought. A tear fell down his cheek. “If I couldn’t handle it before, how could you think I could now?” A knock on the window brought Sam back and he looked back. Dr. Moore stood at the window. He slowly opened the door and poked his head in.

“Sam, the coroners are here to take him to the morgue.” He said.

“O-ok.” Sam said. He stood up as the two gentlemen entered the room. Sam leaned down to Dean’s ear before they moved him. “I love you, Dean.” He whispered in Dean’s ear.

Kali entered the room as the coroners exited. She walked up the Sam and hugged him tightly. Sam wrapped his arms around her and hugged her back as more tears fell from both their eyes.

“I’m so sorry, Sam.” Kali said.

“Don’t be. You didn’t do anything wrong.” Sam said. “But, Dani did. And I’ll kill
her for it.” He let go of Kali and walked toward the door in a sudden rage.

“Sam!” Kali yelled. She disappeared and quickly reappeared in front of Sam with
her hands out. “Stop. Don’t do this.”

“She killed Dean!” Sam yelled.

“I know! I know she did. But you can’t go after her when you’re mad because
she will use it against you. Let’s go back to the hotel and tell Laurie, then we’ll
figure out what to do. Ok?”

Sam listened to her and tired to keep the tears of rage inside. But once she was
done, they took full control and fell from his eyes.

“Sam.” Kali said quietly. She gave him a hug again.

The ride back to the hotel was quiet. Kali drove because Sam was too upset.
When Kali pulled into the parking lot of the hotel, Sam got out before Kali had even put the car in park.

“Sam!” Kali called after him. She put the car in park and took the keys from the ignition.

Laurie was sitting on the couch with a sleeping four year old in her arms. She was watching the news when Sam burst through the door.

“Sam?” She asked quietly. She pushed Dean gently off her and onto the pillow. He got comfortable in his sleep in a ball next to her. Sam didn’t say anything as he walked through the room into the bedroom.
Kali caught the door just before it closed and walked into the room.

“Sam!” She yelled.

“Shh!” Laurie said. Kali looked at her and she pointed to Dean on the couch and Melissa in the playpen. She too was asleep. Laurie stood up as Kali tossed the keys on the table.

“Tell Sam it’ll be ok. I’m going to have a talk with my sister.” Kali said opening the door.

“Kali, wait.” Laurie said. Kali faced her. “What happened? How’s Dean?”

Kali licked her lips and looked Laurie in the eye.

“She killed him.” She said and then she walked through the door and closed it, not
allowed Laurie to respond.

Laurie fell back onto the couch in shock and stared to cry.

Kali appeared just outside the morgue at the hospital wearing a lab coat. She opened the door and walked in.

“Who the hell are you?” The coroner asked.

“Dr. Reading sent me.” Kali said.

“Dr. Reading assigned me personally for this shift.” The man said stepping away
from his desk.

“Well, apparently there was a change of plans.” Kali said matter-of-factly. The
coroner looked at her with surprise and left.

After the door closed, Kali waved her hand at the door and locked it.

Then, she took off her lab coat and walked around the room, looking for Dean’s
body. When she finally found it, she slowly unzipped the bag and pulled it back to
his neck. She choked back tears and she turned around and walked to the middle
of the room.

“Dani! Dani Miller! Get your demonic ass down here right the hell now! Don’t you
make me come down -.”

“There’s no need to yell.” A calm voice said behind her. She whipped around and
saw Dani with her arms crossed leaning against the door. “All you had to do was
call.”

“You son of a bitch, you killed him!” Kali said walked toward Dani.

Dani shrugged it off.

“One down, one to go.” She said.

“Don’t you dare lay a hand on Sam!”

Dani laughed.

“It’s so ironic. Less than a month ago, you didn’t want anything to do with the
Winchesters. Now you’re willing to risk everything for them.”

“I’m more like you than you think, sis.”

“Why is that you called me?” Dani asked.

“I have a proposition for you.”

“A deal? From you? You hate deals.”

Kali nodded.

“Yeah, but this is worth it.”

“Really? Well then, what is it you want?”

Kali walked over to Dean’s body and looked down at it, but didn’t return her gaze
to her twin.

“I want you to bring him back.”

Dani scoffed.

“And what makes you think I can do that?”

Kali turned around quickly and faced Dani.

“Because I know what was in the tonic! I gave it to you! I know what was in it!
And I know that it had the power of resurrection in it! I know you can bring him
back, dammit!” Kali yelled.

“And what do I get if I do it?” Dani asked.

“What He wants.”

Dani was confused.

“Me.” Kali said.

“You? And why would He want you?”

“So, not only has He not figured it out, but neither have you. He’s pissed because He had me, He wanted you, and He lost me trying to get you. All at the same time. He had you get the twins for their power. He figured that a full set of twins and one twin from another set would be a huge amount of power. He was wrong. And you know this. Mum used to talk about it all the time. You can either have the power of one set of twins, or two. There’s no in between. If you bring Dean back, He’ll have his two set of twins. And I’ll help you fulfill your deal to Him.”

“What do you know about the deal I made?”

“I know to save Dean’s life you said you’d change the world and bend it to
demonic rule. And Sam too. And you still haven’t done it yet.”

Dani didn’t have a response to this. She uncrossed her arms and walked over to Dean’s body.

“So,” she turned around, “are you sure you want to do this Kaliseneca?” She said stepping up to Kali.

“Absolutely Daniseco.” Kali said taking two steps to her sister so she was a foot and a half away from her face.

Dani put her index finger and her thumb together and pulled them through the air like she was pulling a zipper. A piece of parchment appeared in the air.

“You’ll have to sign.” Dani said.

“Give me the pen.” Kali replied.

Dani smiled and opened her hand. She held out the knife for Kali.

Kali understood. She took the knife and pricked the end of her finger. She signed the parchment in blood and when she dotted the ‘i’ in ‘Miller’ the parchment disappeared.

Dani walked over to Dean’s body and pulled the bag down past his stomach and put her hands over him. She began to mutter something in Latin and her hands glowed red. After a minute of trying to revive Dean, nothing happened.

“I can’t do it.” Dani said.

“What?” Kali asked, switching her gaze from Dani’s hands to her face.

“I can’t resurrect him.” Dani repeated. Kali used her powers to throw Dani into
the corner.

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN’T RESURRECT HIM!?” Kali screamed.

“I don’t have that power.” Dani said, smirking. “He played you, Kali. And He just
won the game.”

“You son of a bitch!” Kali yelled. She took the knife she pricked her finger with
and charged at Dani.

“Kali, no!” She heard. Two arms wrapped around her body stopping her from
killing Dani. She gasped and dropped the knife, knowing who it was. She turned
her head around as the arms let go of her.

“Dean.” She gasped.

Chapter Three

“Dean.” Kali gasped. Dean stood before her as alive as ever. She couldn’t breathe from the shock. She just stood there looking at him until tears came to her eyes a few seconds later. Dean took her in his arms as she cried.

“It’s ok, Kali. I’m fine.”

Kali pulled away from him and turned around to look at Dani.

“I don’t understand.” Kali said.

Dani stared at Dean, confused.

“Nor do I. How are you alive?!” She yelled at Dean.

“I don’t know. But I am.” Dean said back.

“You’re supposed to be dead. I killed you!”

“Well, obviously something changed.”

“No matter. It’s just a matter of time.” Dani said.

Kali lunged at her again but before she could jump Dean’s arms were around her waist again. They watched Dani disappear. Kali turned around.

“Why did you do that?” She asked.

“She’s not worth it. Not now.”

“She killed you.”

“And He killed me too. I can’t die, I guess.”

Kali nervously rubbed her index finger. Dean saw the motion.

“Are you ok?” He asked taking her wrist to look.

“Fine.” She jerked her hand back. “We need to get to Sam. She may go after
him. Besides, he was so upset when he was in the room with you after you died.”
Kali opened her hands and some of Dean’s clothes appeared. “Here.”

“Thanks.” Dean took them and Kali closed her eyes so he could change. “Ok.”
Dean said when she could open them.

“Let’s go to your brother.” She said.

Dean smiled slightly as he nodded. Kali extended her hand and Dean took it.

Next thing Dean knew, he was standing outside a hotel room.

“Stay here.” Kali said. She took out the key she had taken off the table and opened the door. “Sam!” She yelled as quietly as she could.

The door to the bedroom swung open and Sam ran to her, scooping her in his arms.

“Are you ok?” He asked.

“I’m fine. Nothing bad happened.”

“Did you kill her?”

Kali hesitated.

“No.” She finally said. Sam pulled away and put her at arms length.

“What? She killed Dean! Why didn’t you kill her?!”

“I didn’t have a reason to!”

“Didn’t have a reason?! What do you mean, you didn’t have a -.” Sam stopped as
Kali magically opened the door.

“Sammy.” Dean’s voice came through the door. Sam slowly moved his head to the left toward the door. Dean stood in the doorway as alive as he was when Sam left him the day before. Sam’s arms dropped from Kali’s shoulders and the room closed in on him.

“Dean.” He managed to mutter. Tears formed in his eyes all over again but he quickly blinked them away. He walked across the room as Dean walked in the hotel. The brothers met in the middle of the room in a huge hug.

Kali’s eyes filled with tears as she watched the brothers.

“Sammy, what’s -?” Laurie asked walking out of the room. She stopped next to
Kali when she saw Dean. “Oh my god.”

Dean patted Sam on the shoulder.

“Alright, dude. Chick flick moment.” He pulled away from his brother.

“I don’t get it. How did you -?” Sam asked.

“Don’t worry about it.” Dean said, looking at Kali. She smiled at him. Sam
looked over at Kali too.

“Kali.” He whispered. He walked back to Kali and hugged her tightly. “Thank
you. Thank you so much.” He whispered in her ear.

“You’re welcome.” She whispered back.

After a bit of discussion, the Winchesters went to sleep. Kali, on the other hand,
walked out of the hotel room and sat down on the lawn, watching the stars and the
distant lightning from a thunderstorm.

“Hey.” A voice came some bit later.

Kali turned around and saw Dean walking toward her.

“Hey. Why aren’t you sleeping?” She asked.

“Please. I’ve been dead for a while. Not tired.” He said sitting down next to
her. “Why aren’t you sleeping?” He asked.

“Not tired.” She said.

“No, no, no, no, no. See, I already used that excuse. What’s the real reason?”

Kali knew she wasn’t getting out of this. She nervously rubbed her finger again. This time, Dean was too quick for her and he grabbed her hand and forced her to open it to let him look.

The cut was still on the end of her finger. Kali had cut it deeper than she had intended to, so it wasn’t bleeding anymore, but it wasn’t healed.

“Jesus, Kali. What do you do?” He asked.

Kali pulled her hand away.

“Nothing.”

“Liar.” Dean accused. “Does that have to do with why I’m sitting here when I
should be dead on a stretcher at the Burbank Memorial morgue?”

Kali licked her lips, ignoring the question.

“Kali, I deserve to know if that’s it.”

“Yes.” She said quietly and quickly.

Dean closed his eyes in frustration.

“What did you do?” He asked.

“What I did was bring you back.” Kali said.

“What did you have to do for Dani?”

Kali sighed.

“I made a deal, Dean.” She said after hesitating.

“A deal? What the hell is with this family and deals?”

“I made a deal that if she brought you back then He could have me to make Dani’s
and Sam’s deal go into action.”

“Dani’s and Sam’s deal? Changing the world, you mean?”

“Yeah.”

“You gave yourself? To make the world evil?”

“Yes. I knew that He had the twins for their power. I also knew that He was
pissed off that He had half a set of twins, lost that half trying to get the other half.
So, either way He’s only got a set and a half of twins.”

“So, you gave yourself? Why?”

“Because I couldn’t let you die! I couldn’t see Sam as heartbroken as he was. I had to find a way to get you back, so I did.”

“Do you know what happened to me what I made the deal with the devil?”

“I didn’t make it with the devil. I made it with Dani.”

“Who links directly back to the devil.”

“She won’t hurt me once the deal is made. And neither will Him.”

“You know they won’t let you go once they have you right?”

“Yeah, I know.” Kali said quietly.

“So, you’re gonna leave us defenseless against the demons? That’s great, Kali.” Dean said. He stood up and started to walk away.

“Dean!” Kali yelled after him. “Just remember, my deal is why you are here.”

“But we’ll lose you and Dani in the process!” Dean yelled back.

A tear rolled down Kali’s cheek. For the third time in a thirty-six hour period she felt useless. Not needed. She had tried to do something good and only got yelled at. It was like nothing she did mattered to anyone. Unless it was bad. Then it impacted everyone. She felt like if she left or died right then, no one would care or notice.

She buried her face in her hands and cried.

This part may seem a little insensitive due to the death of Lauren(the_zepellin_rox) but it's not to be like that...just a heads up.

Alright...here is the chapter you all have been waiting for! The introduction of Charmed. I don't go into much detail with the sisters but...well, you'll see.

As always, I hope you like the chapter. I like how it turned out. I think this is the first chapter in a long time I've grasped the brother concept...and that's what I was going for and I think I succeeded.

Reviews greatly appreciated...so now, if you don't mind, I'm going to bed...and I could totally finish that sentence with a quote from Harry Potter...but I'm not going to :D

ENJOY!

Chapter Four

The next morning Kali woke up and sat up on the couch she was sleeping on. She looked onto the floor and saw Dean curled up in a thin blanket with his head on a pillow from the couch. She smiled slightly and threw off her own blanket, stood up with the blanket in hand, and covered Dean with it. Then, she walked over to the box of muffins that had appeared on the table over night and took the second one out of the opened box. She walked out onto the balcony to find Sam, fully dressed, leaning on the banister, picking as his poppy seed muffin.

“Morning.” She said quietly.

Sam looked over his shoulder.

"Hey. Sleep well?”

“Alright. You?”

“I had a hard time at first, but I got to sleep eventually.”

“Who’s taking care of the dogs if you guys are here?”

“I called a friend. They’re taking care of them.” Sam returned to his muffin and
put a small piece in his mouth and chewed it. Kali sat in a chair and took a chunk off the top and nibbled on it. Sam turned around and put his back against the banner. “I can’t thank you enough, Kali.”

Kali looked up.

“For what?” She asked.

“For what? Bringing my brother back. You have no idea how much that means to me.”

A smiled graced Kali’s lips.

“You’re welcome.”

“How did you do it?”

Kali looked from Sam down to her muffin.

“Kali. Please.” Sam begged.

“I made a deal with Dani that I would help her fulfill yours and her deal.”

“You what?”

“Sam, I don’t need this again. Alright? Dean already wants to kill me for it.”

“I don’t want to kill you.” Dean’s voice came from the door. Kali looked up at him as he walked through the door and closed it.

“It didn’t seem like it last night.”

“Kali, you have to understand. This family, our family, is my life. I may have known you for less than a month, but I still worry.”

“It’s one of his more pain in the ass characteristics.” Sam joked.

Dean looked at him and rose his eyebrows.

“And who has saved your ass more times than he can count?”

Sam smiled as his brother rolled his eyes and returned his gaze to Kali.

“He’s right. I’m a control freak. And I worry, probably more than I should. But
ever since our dad put Sammy in my arms to save him, I’ve been responsible for him. And it’s the same with Dani. She thinks she has to save everyone too. It’s the bad thing about our marriage. We try to protect each other and end up getting hurt.”

“And it’s the same thing with you, Kali.” Sam said.

“You and Dani sure are twins. Not just in looks, but in personality too.”

“Is that such a bad thing?” She asked.

“No, of course not. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to save those you love.
But when you put yourself in harms way, then there’s a problem.” Dean said.

“You do it. Both of you. Dani does it.”

“And look where that got her.” Sam said.

“I won’t stop looking out for you. The knowledge you have about demons only
skims the top of a very wide and very deep ocean. And when we get Dani back,
and we will, we’ll both be protecting you.”

“Kali -.” Dean began.

“No. End of discussion.”

Dean licked his lips and turned away to lean on the banister, but Sam remained looking at Kali as she took another bite out of her muffin.

“Kali, what is it that you never got to tell me? About why we had to leave.” Sam asked.

The question sparked Dean’s interest, though he knew the answer. He looked over at Kali, who looked back. Sam caught the motion and looked back and forth between them.

“What do you two know that I don’t?”

Dean stood up and walked over to the table Kali was sitting by and leaned on it, crossing his arms.

“Uh, Sammy -.”

“Don’t dance around it, Dean. What’s goin’ on?”

Dean looked down at Kali, who looked up at him.

“For Christ’s sake will one of you tell me what the hell is going on?!”

“He’s after Dean and Melissa.” Dean finally said.

Sam stared at his brother in disbelief. When he saw no joke in Dean’s eyes, Sam gaze fell on Kali. When he didn’t see joking in her face, he began to shake his head.

“No. No, no, no, no.” Sam said.

“Sammy, I’m sorry.” Dean said.

“How long have you known?” Sam asked Kali.

“I figured it out after he took the twins.”

“And you never said anything?!”

“I didn’t really have a chance to, Sam! Whenever I tried to tell you something
happened!”

“This can’t be happening. Why would He take them? What purpose do they have?”

“I’m sorry, Sam.” Kali said.

“For what?” He replied.

“Um, He-He wants to k-kill them.” She said.

“W-why?”

“They have no purpose to Him and because they have the genes for your powers, He sees them as a threat.” Dean explained.

“And anyone He sees as a threat He wants gone. Even children.”

“We can’t let Him get them.”

“I know. So, what we need to do is leave them and Laurie here while we go to
San Francisco. We’ll put a protection charm around the motel so no demon can get through it and they’ll be safe. We have to get Dani back. If we get Dani and the twins back, He doesn’t have a way to get them.”

“When do we leave for San Francisco?”

“ASAP.” Dean said.

Explaining to Laurie why they had to leave wasn’t as easy as it was telling Sam.
Tears and yelling were involved telling Laurie. Sam had to literally take her head
in his hands to tell her that nothing was going to happen because they were going
to fix it. After a long hug, she calmed down. She had never wanted to be a part of this life. But she loved Sam and if the life went along with Sam, she would too.
On the surface she was ok with it, but on the inside she was screaming for it all the to stop. All the hunting and danger. She wanted it all to stop. Of course, she would never tell Sam that, so she kept it inside.

By ten o’clock the charm had been set around the motel room courtesy of Kali.
Sam and Laurie were telling each other goodbye while Kali and Dean told the children goodbye.

“Uncie Dean, why do you have to go?” Dean asked his uncle.

“Because we have to get Aunt Dani back. Do you miss Aunt Dani?”

“Yeah.”

“We do too. So, we’re gonna go find her. We’ll be back, as soon as we can and when we do come back, you can hang on her all you want.”

“Yay!” Dean said. He squealed as Dean tickled him. Kali smiled with the bouncing baby girl in her arms. Dean put his nephew on the hood of the Impala and took Melissa off Kali’s hands to say goodbye to her. Kali sat with Dean and played with his small red toy car he had.

When Sam was finished saying goodbye to Laurie, he and Dean and Kali switched. Sam said goodbye to the kids and Kali and Dean said goodbye to Laurie.

“We’ll take care of them. I promise.” Dean whispered in her ear as he hugged her goodbye.

“I know you will.” She said pulling away. “Go get Dani.”

Dean smiled and waited for Kali to hug Laurie.

“The charm will keep demons and evil away. But here,” she held out three small
charms, “these will help too. There’s one for each of you.”

“Thanks Kali.” Laurie said.

Kali nodded and hugged her again.

Sam had Melissa in his arms waiting to give her to Laurie. Dean ran up his uncle
for another hug.

“Bye, bye Uncie Dean.” He said. He kissed Dean on the cheek then stretched out
for Kali to take him. “Bye, bye Aunt Kali.” He kissed her also before wiggling out
of her grasp and running up to Laurie.

“Alright, you two ready?” Dean asked Sam and Kali, fishing for his keys in his
jacket.

“I’ll call you when we get there.” Sam said to Laurie, opening the back door for
Kali.

“Alright.”

“If anything happens -.”

“I’ll call you.” She said. Sam ran to her and kissed her once more before getting
into the car himself.

Dean started the engine and waved to Laurie before putting the car in drive and
pulled out of the parking lot.

Once in impala was on the I-5 north to San Francisco, it was smooth sailing for
three hundred miles.

“So, what is the address for these sisters again?” Dean asked so Sam could put it into the GPS on his cell phone.

Kali opened her book to check the address.

“1329 Prescott Street. It’s a big reddish-pink house, you can’t miss it.” Kali said
closing the book in her lap.

After another four hours of driving, they pulled onto Prescott Street. The house, as Kali predicted, wasn’t hard to miss. The large manor was indeed reddish-pink with a small front porch. It sat on top of a slight hill that had grass on it. The pathway to the door had a large set of stairs that led the way up the hill and another set leading to the porch with a straightaway in between. The driveway was on the left side of the house and had a Jeep Cherokee out front along with a green Volkswagen Beetle sitting in the street.

A woman with dark hair and light skin emerged from the beetle and jogged up the steps to the front door.

“Is that one of them?” Dean asked, leaning over slightly toward Sam to see better.

Sam looked at him.

“Dude. Personal space.” Dean looked back at him and sat up straight.

Kali chuckled.

“Yeah, that’s Paige. She’s the youngest and she’s half witch, half whitelighter.
Um, the Cherokee over there, that belongs to Piper.”

“The oldest?” Sam fact checked.

“Yeah. Piper’s the oldest and Phoebe is in the middle.”

“I don’t see a third car. Where’s Phoebe?” Dean asked.

“Work, probably. Remember those ‘Ask Phoebe’ ads we saw coming into to
town?” Kali asked.

“Yeah. Is that her?” Sam said.

“Yeah. She’s the advice columnist for The Bay Mirror, the local paper.”

“Alright. So, we’ve got our background history for the day. What are we gonna
do? Just knock on the door and say ‘hey there, we know you’re witches?’”

“Actually, yeah.” Kali said getting out of the car.

“Wha -?” Dean started getting out too, following Sam. “What the hell, Kali?”

“What the hell else do you propose we do?” She asked, stopping in the middle of
the road. When she didn’t get an answer she proceeded to the sidewalk and the stairs leading to the house. Sam followed immediately and Dean reluctantly followed his brother a five seconds after.

Kali rang the doorbell and heard scattering noises inside.

“One second!” A voice came through the door. A few seconds later, the large wooden door opened and the woman they saw running up the stairs appeared in the doorway. Dean was just reaching the porch when she opened the door.

“Yes?” She asked.

“Are you Paige Matthews?” Kali asked.

“Yeah, I am.”

“We need your help.”

“Who are you?” Paige asked.

“That doesn’t matter right now. We’re not here to expose you, but we know you
and your sisters are witches and we need your help. Magical help.”

Alright, this chapter is bascially review but it has the sisters and Leo in it.

No real action in this one...next one however, there will be some. So, I'm excited to write action, so check back this weekend sometime for another update.

Chapter Five

Piper walked into the living room carrying a silver tray with coffee on it. She set it down on the table before flipping her brown hair over her shoulder and sitting on the armrest of the chair that Paige was sitting in.

“So, who are you, again?” Paige asked. Her dark straight brown was so dark it was almost black. She had it half up in ponytail tied with a pink hair tie that matched her shirt.

"Names Winchester.” Dean said. “Like Kali said, we’re not here to expose you guys as witches, we-.”

“How did you know we were witches?” Piper asked.

“Let’s just say, we have our own version of the Book of Shadows.” Kali said.

“And we were in it?”

“In our version, yes.”

“Our? Who are you?” Paige asked.

Kali, Dean, and Sam exchanged glances. They knew telling the sisters Kali and Dani were demons wouldn’t be easy. However, they also knew that they were they’re only hope of getting Dani back.

“Demons.” Kali finally said. She swallowed hard. “I’m a demon. And Dani is a demon.”

Paige and Piper exchanged glances but before they could reply, the door opened and Phoebe’s voice floated through the house.

“Hello! I’m home!” She yelled, thinking everyone was upstairs. She stopped in the doorway to the living room, gaze shifting between her sisters and the strangers on the couch. “Did I miss anything?”

“Yeah, ya did.” Piper said smiling sarcastically. “We need to talk.” She said to
Paige. She stood up and grabbed Phoebe’s arm to drag her into the kitchen. Paige followed.

“Great.” Dean said. “Just great.”

“I had to tell them. I-I-.”

“We know.” Sam said.

Piper only let go of her grasp on Phoebe when they were in the kitchen.

“Ow, Piper! What’s goin’ on?”

“I’ll tell you what’s going on. Those people out there on the couch, they know we’re witches.”

“What?”

“Don’t worry, they’re not going to expose us.” Paige said.

“So they say.” Piper said.

“Wait, what do they want?” Phoebe asked.

“Our help saving the girl’s sister. The two of them are demons gone good and the
one’s sister was turned evil. They want her back and they can’t do it alone.”

“So, they’re like innocents?”

“Not really. All of them have powers.”

“Piper, powers or not, they need our help. Look at how many times one of us
have been turned evil.”

“But we always solved the problem ourselves.”

“She’s right.” Paige said. “Phoebe, we don’t even know them. They could be
lying for all we know.”

“But what if they’re not?”

“No. I don’t like it.” Piper said.

“Me neither. I’d be more comfortable if we have Leo ask the Elders about them.”

Piper pointed at her.

“That is a good idea. Leo.”

Blue and whites lights swirled around next to Piper and Leo appeared.

“Yeah?”

“What do you know about the Winchesters?” Piper asked her husband.

“Um, not much. I know that the boys’ mother was killed by a demon and the
father learned everything he could about the supernatural and he taught the boys
how to hunt creatures down and kill them.”

“So they are good?” Phoebe asked.

“As good as you three, just on a different level. You both kill supernatural beings,
it’s just they hunt for the bad guys and the bad guys come to you.”

Phoebe looked at her sisters with raised eyebrows.

“Why do you ask?” Leo asked.

“They’re sitting in the living room.” Paige said.

“What?”

“Yeah.”

“Why?”

“They need our help getting back-.”

“Dani?” Leo guessed.

“Yeah. How did you know?”

“Pretty powerful demon. Six years ago, she was feared among all demons. Then
she turned good, when trying to kill the Winchesters. Then He killed her, and two
years ago, she came back and after some minor bumps in the road, here we are.”

“Whose ‘He’?” Paige asked.

“You know Him. Just by a different name.”

“The Source.” Piper said.

Leo nodded.

“So, are they help worthy?” Phoebe asked.

“Yes. The Winchesters are good people. They deserve as much help as they can
get if it lets them continue what they’re doing.”

Phoebe smiled at her sisters in triumph and followed them back into the living room.

The three women and Leo walked back into the room and sat on various chairs around the room.

“Dean. Sam, Kali, this is Leo. My husband and our -.” Piper said.

“Whitelighter.” Kali finished.

“How much of us are in that book of yours?” Paige asked.

“I already knew that. Demons know a lot about their enemies.”

“Why don’t we know anything about you guys?”

Leo piped up.

“Well, no offense guys, but Dean and Sam aren’t exactly magical. So, you wouldn’t know anything about them. The sisters however, are in the Book of Shadows.”

“We are?” Kali asked.

“Mmhmm. Kaliseneca and Daniseco Miller. Twin demons who, if apart, are
extremely powerful, but put together, unstoppable.”

“Ok, so about Dani -.” Piper said.

“Look,” Dean said, “I know you don’t trust us, and you have no reason to, but Dani
is my wife, and I-we want her back.”

“Please.” Kali said. “Please help us get her back.”

“You have no idea of the things she is capable of doing. She is the strongest
demon that they have on their side and that can be disastrous to the world.” Sam
said.

“Especially because she’s out to change it.” Dean said.

“You didn’t have to explain. We’re gonna help you.”

“You will?” Kali and Dean asked.

“Yes, we will.”

“Thank you.”

“Don’t mention it. She’s family.” Phoebe said.

“Alright, so tell us everything. We can’t help unless we know the story from the
beginning.” Leo said.

“Well, first, let it be known that Dani was sent to kill Sam and I, but instead of
killing us, we turned her good and He’s been pissed about it ever since.” Dean
said.

“Um, well, a few weeks ago He, the devil, our boss, told me that He wanted Dani
back on the demon’s side. He gave me a tonic, that if given to her three times a
day in equal amounts at the same time of day, she would turn evil. Well, while I
was trying to turn her evil, she and these guys turned me good and I didn’t finish
the last few doses. That’s when some demon’s kidnapped her and gave her the rest themselves. They branded her left hand with the All Seeing Eye so He could control her. Well, she turned evil. And the first evil thing she did was -.”

“Kill me.” Dean said.

“But we got him back because of a deal she made.” Sam pointed to Kali.

“What was the deal?” Piper asked.

“If she brought Dean back, I would help fulfill the deal she made to save him in
December.” Kali said. “But she wasn’t the one who brought Dean back recently. It didn’t work, but he’s here anyway.”

Sam looked at Kali.

“You never told me that.” He said.

“What was the deal Dani made?” Paige asked.

“The deal made me and Dani promise to bend the world to demonic rule. She
couldn’t do it alone, and I couldn’t do it alone. But put us together, and it was
possible.” Sam said.

“But now, she’s so powerful, she doesn’t need Sam. All she needs is me.” Kali said.

“Why?” Phoebe asked.

Leo piped in again.

“Magical twins are very powerful. That’s the reason Kali and Dani are so powerful together. They’re twins.”

“And mine and Dani’s one year old babies are twins. Dani kidnapped them and I can only imagine what He’s doing to them to brainwash them of all the good that’s
in them.”

“Why did they take your twins? Leo, shush.” Piper said, pointed at him to quiet him so Kali could answer the question.

“The more sets of twins you have, the more power you have.” Kali said.

“And the more power you have, the easier it is to take over the world.” Phoebe said.

“Yeah.” Kali said.

“Well, it sounds like we’re screwed if you ask me.”

“No, we’re not. Look, you have the human that demons fear, the sister of the
demon that demons fear, and the power of three. The five of us are pretty strong. I don’t know if it’s enough to being her back or not, but it’s worth a try.”

“I’ll go check with the Elders and see if they know a way to get her back.” Leo said standing up off the armrest he was sitting on.

“Alright.” Piper said. Leo kissed her and orbed away in blue and white lights. She stood up and wiped her hands on her jeans. “So, dinner anyone?”

jensensgirl89 - February 25, 2007 08:22 AM (GMT)
Ok, I couldn't wait to write this chapter and the next one, so here is this one. I leave it with a bad cliffy...so, don't kill me too bad.

I have late days at school tuesday and wednesday this week. So, check back then for another update.

Chapter Six

Dani walked through the rock corridors towards His chamber, demons pressing their backs against the wall to clear her way. Whatever He had to tell her must have been important because He sent for her immediately.

She rounded the corner that led to His lair and brushed passed the guards and walked into the room. She walked up the ring of fire and kneeled in front of Him.

“Rise.” He said. Dani did so. “Are you aware of what your family has done?”

“I have an idea.” She replied.

“They’ve joined forces with the Charmed Ones to get you back.”

“Yeah, I had a feeling they would go to the sisters sooner or later. What do you
want me to do about it?”

He smiled and she understood. She left the room with a menacing look in her eyes. She disappeared walking down the corridor and appeared in her living room a second later. As she did so, she thought back to her vision.

“Five months, huh? Well, let’s see if we can’t cut that short.” She said to herself as she sat on her bed and attempted to tap into Kali’s mind.

It’s your fault, Kali. You know it’s your fault. It’s your fault I’m like this. That the twins are being changed. That Dean and Melissa are danger. You will be alone soon. Kali sat upright from a deep sleep on the couch in the hotel room she, Sam, and Dean were staying in. She wiped sweat off her face as she breathed deeply.

When she and Dani were growing up, they developed an iron door in their heads. It prevented one sister from reaching the thoughts of the other. She knew the voice now was Dani, but she couldn’t put up the iron door to keep Dani out.

“You ok?” Dean’s voice came. Kali looked up and saw him leaning on the wall.

“Yeah. I’m fine.” She lied, her voice a bit groggy.

“Are you sure?” Dean asked walking over and sitting on the edge of the couch.

“Yeah.”

“You know, Dani’s a crappy liar. You’re worse.” Dean said. Kali smiled and
looked away from him. “What’s wrong?”

“Dani tried to get to me again. In my head.”

“What did she say?”

“What she always says. She says it’s my fault that she’s evil. That the kids are all
in danger. She told me I was gonna be alone. She’s right.”

“Kali.” Dean said sternly.

“Well, she is. If I hadn’t given her the tonic she’d be fine. We’d be at home drinking coffee and reading the paper.”

“True. But, it’s not your fault.”

“Dean -.”

“And if I hear you say that one more time, I’ll kill you.” Dean said sarcastically.
He gave her a quick hug and stood up. “And who says we can’t drink coffee and read the paper here?”

“Because Piper just called your cell and said they’re working on a spell.” Sam said, walking into the room holding out Dean’s phone.

“Oh.” Dean said.

“So, what you girls got cookin’ up here?” Dean asked, walking into the Halliwell kitchen.

“A potion.” Paige said, tossing a sprig of thyme into the pot on the stove.

Sam sniffed the air and grimaced.

“What’s in that?” He asked, joining his brother at the island.

Paige looked at him but didn’t answer the question.

“Ok, I don’t wanna know, do I?”

“No, you don’t.”

Piper walked into the room just after Kali entered and mockingly smelled the
potion and smiled.

“Breakfast anyone?” She asked.

“Not funny.” Dean said.

“Oh c’mon Dean. It’s not that bad.”

“Maybe for you. You’ve been around it a while.”

“You can’t tell me you have never made a potion.”

“Not one that smelled like that.”

“Ok, ok, you two.” Paige said. “Piper, did you get the mandrake root.”

“Yeah. Here.” Piper handed Paige a small brown paper bag. Paige took out the white vegetable and cut off a small piece and put the rest back in the bag. “Sam, put this in the fridge please?” She asked.

“Sure.” Sam took the bag and put it in the door of the refrigerator as Paige cut the small piece into even smaller pieces and sprinkled it in the pot.

“Alright, all we need is a piece of her.” Paige said.

“Excuse me?” Kali asked turning her attention from the herbs in the cabinets to
Paige.

“We need a piece of her skin to put in the potion.” Paige repeated.

“And how are we supposed to get that?” Sam asked.

Paige picked up the knife on the cutting board and twisted it back and forth in her
fingers.

“One of us will have to be bait to get her here.” Kali said.

“What about a summoning spell, Piper?” Paige asked.

“That would work. But I have a feeling bait will get her well enough if she’s really
as powerful as you say she is.” Piper said.

“Who’s gonna be bait?” Sam asked.

“Well, He hasn’t called for you, yet.” Dean said to Kali. “So there’s no need to use
you. She doesn’t need you yet. So, we’ll use me.”

“Why you?” Kali asked.

“She wants Sam and me dead. She’s already killed me and was pissed when I
came back.”

“Alright. Dean it is.” Piper said. “Do you think we need to call Phoebe?”

“No, we’ll be alright.” Kali said.

“Who’s gonna get the skin?” Sam asked.

“I will.” Kali said quickly, picking up the knife.

“Ok, then.”

Suddenly a fireball came sailing through the kitchen door. Dean ducked and
pulled Sam down just in time for the fireball to hit the cabinet and not his head.

“She’s early!” Dean yelled.

Dani walked through the door and threw another ball this time at Piper. Piper put up her hands in reflex and froze the ball in mid air. Paige grasped her sister’s arm and orbed from the room. The fireball unfroze and hit the wall. Kali ran to Sam and Dean and Dean put his hand on Sam’s shoulder and Kali put her hand on
Sam’s other shoulder and disappeared.

Both groups appeared in the living room.

“Kali, go to the stairs and we’ll distract her.” Piper said.

Kali nodded and disappeared, a second later appearing on the landing of the stairs.

Dani appeared in front of Piper, Dean, Paige, and Sam. Dani focused on Dean and tossed him through the air with her mind.

This is your fault Kali.

She looked at Sam as a knife appeared in her hand. She made a move on him but Dean kicked it out of her hand before she could hurt Sam. Dani did a roundabout kick and hit Dean in the side. Sam hit her in the neck and she fell the ground the pain. Piper rose her arms and froze Dani.

“Kali now!” Piper yelled.

It’s your fault. Don’t put anymore people in danger, Kali. You’ve already put too many in harms way. Do you really want more to die?

Kali stood on the landing, not moving a muscle. She watched Dani on the ground, all sound gone from the room.

“Kali!” Sam yelled. Kali only saw his lips move as Dani tapped into her head again.

Remember what happened to mum and dad? That was your fault too. Don’t let that happen to Piper. She has kids. Do you really want to kill another parent?

Kali dropped the knife and put her hands on her head as tears filled her eyes.

What about Darren and Kevin? That was your fault too. You killed our family, Kali. It’s your fault they’re dead. And it will be your fault that the Halliwells and the Winchesters die because you’re sitting there.

Dani took the knife on the ground and swiftly stabbed Piper with it.

“Piper!” Paige yelled. She caught Piper in her arms as Piper fell to the ground.
Sam and Dean ran to her but Kali stayed on the stairs, crying.

Dani looked at Kali and smirked.

It’s your fault. And you know how to fix it. She disappeared on the spot.

“Leo!” Dean yelled.

Kali watched the scene play out as if it were a silent movie. Leo orbed in and in
slow motion, it seemed to Kali, put his hand over the stab wound. His hands glowed gold and the wound healed up in a few seconds. Piper woke in Paige’s arms and she and Leo hugged her. Dean and Sam stood up and walked through the room and the hallway to the stairs.

“What the hell happened Kali?!” Dean yelled.

“I-I’m sorry.” She sobbed. She was crying so hard, she was shaking.

“What happened?” Sam asked.

“D-Dani got to me. R-really b-bad.”

“What did she say?” Sam asked, sitting next to her on the stairs,

Kali shook her head and began to cry more. Sam put his arm around her and held
her tight.

“Kali -.” Dean said, the sound of anger in his voice.

“Dean.” Sam shook his head.

Dani sighed and walked back to Piper, who was now sitting on the couch.

Just then, the front door opened, and Phoebe walked through the door.

“Hey guys.” She said walking into the living room. She saw Leo, Paige, and Dean around Piper and looked over her shoulder and saw Sam on the stairs with Kali. “Is everything ok?”

“Dani attacked us.” Paige said.

“Oh my god.” Phoebe said. “Is everyone alright?”

“She stabbed Piper, but Leo got her taken care of.” Dean said. “We were trying
to get a piece of her skin for the potion.”

“Are you using the potion we used for Cole?” She asked Paige.

“Yeah.”

“Who’s Cole?” Dean asked.

“He was a demon who tried to kill us. Demonic husband of mine.” Phoebe
said. “So, anyway, did you get it?”

Dean’s eyes drifted over to Kali and Sam.

“No.” He sighed.

“Why? What happened?”

“Kali freaked out.” Piper said.

“Kali, tell me what she said.” Sam said quietly.

“I-I c-can’t.” Kali sobbed.

“Please.”

Kali took a deep breath to gather herself.

“She t-told me that it was my fault. T-that everything was my fault. That our p-
parents were dead and our b-brothers. P-Piper. Everything.”

“Do you believe that?”

“She’s right.” Another wave of tears came. “It is my fault that they’re dead.”

“Alright, calm down, first of all. Can you tell me why it’s your fault? I thought dad
killed your parents?”

“That’s what He told us to hate your family. Dani and I hadn’t been initiated yet,
so we didn’t have our full powers. Your dad rose his gun to kill me and I sent two
fireballs at him, but somehow they went the opposite direction and hit my parents.”

“Kali -.”

“No, Sam. Don’t. I’ve been told for too long that it’s my fault and whether it was
or not, it doesn’t matter. I was stupid, and they’re dead.” She sighed. “I’m
gonna go for a drive.” She stood up and took the keys for the impala off the table.

“Hey!” Dean yelled as Kali ran out the door.

“Kali!” Sam yelled after her. He caught the door before it closed and ran after
her. He got to the car as she closed the door and started up the engine. “Hey,
hey, hey! Where are you going?”

“I have to go do something.”

“What?”

“Let it go Sam.” She put the car in drive and sped down the road.

“Kali!” Sam yelled after the car. He slumped in defeat and walked back up to the
house.

“Is she ok?” Dean asked.

“No, she’s not.”

“Where did she go?” Piper asked.

“She said she had to do something.”

Suddenly Phoebe took a sharp intake of breath and closed her eyes.

“Phoebe?” Dean asked.

“She’s having a vision.” Leo clarified.

A few seconds later, she opened her eyes and gasped.

“O-oh my g-god.” She said.

“What did you see?” Paige asked.

“Kali on bridge.” She looked at Piper. “The bridge that Prue was on when the
darklighter was controlling people.”

“And?” Dean asked.

“She jumped.”
