Title: Thank You Letter to Kripke
Description: any suggestions?

cry_wolf - December 27, 2006 10:55 PM (GMT)
As you guys may know, we are also creating a 'thank you' letter to our man, the Kripkeeper. I was instructed to make a thread for possible suggestions or things you guys would like to add. So if there's anything you'd like to say....here's the place to say it!

purehalo - December 28, 2006 06:03 PM (GMT)
I think a big thank you to him for doing what he's doing, for enjoying it in such an obvious way and for him acknowledging the fans. That's something that many writers and creators seem to skip

So definitely we need to thank him for thanking us!

Tracer and I wrote Kripke a letter after No Exit and did just that. Thanked him and told him we understood what he was doing and appreciated him. Also might've implied he was God....

Anyway, we got a cool email from supernatural productions and the letter went to his PA, so, we haven't heard from Kripke himself yet, but someone does actually read that stuff.

Thats so excellent to know the letters get (almost) to the source.

Yeah we'd have to add in the 'god' status

And the fact this is all we think about 24/7

Plus i'm seeing SN signs everywhere and my house is taken up with the pictures (even the bathroom)

Maybe leave that bit out, don't want to scare him

cry_wolf - December 28, 2006 06:37 PM (GMT)
haha.

I totally agree about the 'god' status :P And it's nice to see you again Pure!! :D

Haha, you so shoulda read what we wrote to Kripke. We blamed him for deprived husbands, dirty dishes, hard drives full of promo pics, dropping GPA's, cable bills, since satellite don't have the CW... we also said people who come on the boards and complain about the show are possessed by demons and he should put exorcism rites in the subliminal messages during those stupid extra commercial breaks...

Oh, and we thanked him for having JOhn Shiban point out that Sacramento was the place we all needed to go to escape the advance of Satan' army out of the hell gate in Lawrence...

Yeah, we got loopy.

Missed ya babe!! Great to be in the same place again!

I think we should also mention how the family elements of the show is something we all can relate to and appreciate

Plus the fact that Kripke keeps the men as men is something that really rings true. They are the first 'brothers' on tv that i think really show the depth of a brothers relationship

jabukarakija - December 30, 2006 08:05 PM (GMT)
We should thank him for the awesome music on every episode!

Thank him for bringing us the best show to ever grace my television screen starring the two hottest guys in existance. Honestly, where would we all be without it?

But also tell him that he's a jerk for leaving Croatoan where he did. Man, I'm still ticked about that! :bang

I still worship him in all his Kripke-ness though. :bow

I'm safe then, :D I'm next door to Sacramento.

Thank you Mr. Kripke for the show that brought a ton of fans together in
one main board here. A lot that I still consider friends now.

LOL And I believe you'll know what I'll say next, so I'll leave it alone.

:hug's

kburch04 - February 4, 2007 06:58 PM (GMT)
Oh what isn't there to thank him for? Lol!!

The guys...the story line...the Impala...the music...its all awesome haha...

And the guys are shown as humans!! They fight, Sam got drunk when he got depressed, no fluffl here haha.

And you should probably let him know that if we don't get at least a good 8 or 9 or 10 or a trillion seasons out of this...there will be a riot on CW like no other.

And I love the whole

But you know, Kripke keeps saying that he needs our help to make sure the show has a a third season. From what I've seen, the CW would be insane to cut out a show with this kind of fan base, and it's only in it's second season. Do you think that's a master plan by Kripke to send us all into psychotic fits? I know I've kidnapped a few people and made them watch it haha...trying to build the fan base up a bit...or do you think the show's really in trouble?

:woohoo Alright, rambling over...I'm off!! :D

midnighter - February 4, 2007 09:33 PM (GMT)
the show can't be in trouble, it just can't be! it is the best show in the history of tv as we know it! lol. you'll have to excuse my random rantings... its just how i am concerning something this awesome haha

I think we should thank him for all the hard work he has put into this show to keep it going and to get it on the air. Thank him for making it the show it is, not a show about a reporter. And thank him for coming up with a show that is new, fresh, and original on TV. If the letter is just to Kripke...don't thank him for the music that is put on the show because he doesn't do that, thank him for making it classic rock music. That's all I had to add to that.

rayuk666 - February 5, 2007 03:23 PM (GMT)
I would like to say thanks to Mr Eric Kripke and all those people who work on the show because it's the best show I've seen on TV... or anywhere and it's funny - but smart funny. So thanks for creating the show.
And thanks for hiring the lads :halo

Right... and I can't think of anything else right now so I'll edit this later I guess.

Thank him for creating a show that for once, everyone in my house will watch...that is me, my sis and my mum.
And for creating a show that keeps you interested week after week, with answer every once and a while...unlike certain other show *coughs, Lost, Prison Break, coughs*

But in all seriousness, Kripke has created an enthralling show, that is different week in, week out, although the central themes and premises are constants. It portrays some realistic and poignant relationships between the shows central characters in Sam and Dean, and again with the minor characters Pappa Winchester, Bobby and Ellen.
Think about all the fans reactions to John dying, Sam dying, Dean nearly dying...clearly these well-constructed characters make us give a damn, even if it is only for one hour, once a week. Even Ash...who had been in a handful of episodes. Such is the impact of well-thought out, cleverly portrayed characters in any show. These memorable characters keep us coming back time and again.
And kudos too, to Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. They make us laugh, cry, shake our heads and cheer...generally within the space of one episode.
It is very easy, I believe, for shows based on this pretext to become gimmicky, aiming for cheap laughs and thrills, and sacrificing any real story line or decent acting. Kripke has avoided this, thus far, and may he continue to do so for season 3 and beyond.

I'd like to thank Mr. Kripke for bringing an original, intelligent, well-written, and very well-acted show to TV. I'm tired of soap operas whether they're set in hospitals or police stations. I'm tired of reality shows. I'm tired of shows that talk down to me. Supernatural is the only show I will watch regularly for those reasons. Thank you!!!

And if anyone else calls SPN a stupid horror show like that a**hole from Reaper, well just tell them to come in here. We'll educate them properly. :evil

Shelly - May 19, 2007 12:30 AM (GMT)
I would like to thank Mr. Kripke for bringing a great and original, horror television show, and for somehow making it seem very realistic. For all those good qualities, they encourage me to watch Supernatural every single week it comes on.

The Supernatural - May 20, 2007 06:35 AM (GMT)
I would just like to say thanks to Mr. Kripke for creating an awesome show and having it air in Australia! You beauty!

We hope you continue doing a good job with it and keep those cameras rolling and those boys in action...Doing what they are suppose to be doing, kicking ass!

P.S- Thanks for keeping the Impala!
