Hi, First ever introduction, a forum classic

Greetings,

I've been reading the comic for quite some time, tough I probably only understand 1/2 of what is being done (who are the lizards? what is otakon, do I even spell otakon correctly??).

I am really fond of european style comics and in a lesser degree comics aka manga.

I hail from the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign, my major is(for the moment, at least) East Asian Language.

To answer the previous poster, Otakon is a large North American convention that occurs in Baltimore, Maryland, every summer. Over a full weekend, and containing Friday, over 23,000 people congregate to celebrate Japanese Animation, shortened to anime by most fans.

(Wasn't that a good PR sentence?)

I'm Chris's fiancee, and the main cause of him not getting the comic up sometimes

We live in Madison, WI, and work at the same job (except Chris is a boss, and I'm not--yet.) I'm going to school for Clinical Laboratory Technology. Should take me another couple years to get my degree, and then a couple more to get my bachelor's. Trantorian there is my brother, which means that now 2 of 3 people who have posted are practically related to Chris. So it goes.

I like watching anime and CSI, reading science fiction, cooking, and throwing ridiculous parties.

Hey hey all. My names GazJD and i'm a self confessed coffee addict. But anyways, i'm an 18 year old Taff who is about to start an electronics enginnering job in september. I've been reading the comic for a good while now and i love it how 9/10 when i get home from work on a saterday (part time job) there is a new comic to cheer me up.
