I thought I would start a couple sports topics with the question of what was your one highlight from the sport.

So here we go with baseball

The failure of the Los Angeles Dodgers to win the National League

Maybe I'm a homer, but seeing Ken Griffey Jr. coming back to play in Seattle was pretty cool.

From baseball the number one play of the year had to be Dwayne Wise's catch to save Mark Buerhle's no hitter.

What a play .... I was trying to come up with a highlight from the Pirates but the best I came up with was the DID NOT lose 100 games this year so at least they stayed in double digit loses this season. Next year, does not look much better. UGH!

Loved that Wise play. Even if the perfect game wasn't involved in the outcome, I'd still say that.

For the Phillies? I loved the casual infield fly catch by Cliff Lee. It was awesome.

so far there have not been too many surprises other than Boston not being closer to the top of their division but there is still a lot of baseball to be played.

Toronto is playing in front of poor crowds this year. There really is no reason because they do have a fairly good club although this could be the fallout from the Roy Halladay trade.
