I checked Obama / Biden. I'm a staunch (or will be staunch) Democrat and believe in the platforms. I believe in lowering taxes for the middle-to-lower class while raising the rich. I disagreed with the Iraq War and I have some small problems with "No Child Left Behind" but it's actually not too bad of a policy on some levels.

It is interesting you mention "No Child Left Behind" ... are you a teacher? I teach and hear NCLB more often than I need to in a week.

I checked for Obama, dont claim either Rep or Dem. Like views on both sides but hate Rep views on economy. Give more to the rich and watch it trickle down to the rest. The only thing that has trickled down is the worst economy since the great depression.

With regards to the NCLB, while working as a recruiter it seems to me that children are and have been left behind for a while. Its sad to see how most schools are lacking the budget to set our children up for success. Most kids cant pass their basic competency test, let alone the ASVAB for military service. A change has to come very soon.

Nah, I'm a student.

Basically I feel that you can't force everyone to learn the same things. Instead of equaling out that, how about focusing on hiring better teachers or other things like that?

Ugh.

For the last time, Obama is NOT a Socialist. Not even the Socialist Party of America believes that he is one.

Palin's more Socialist than Obama. She even said in an interview "were set up, unlike other states in the union, where its collectively Alaskans own the resources. So we share in the wealth when the development of these resources occurs. http://liberalvaluesblog.com/?p=5507

What we hear is Conservative propoganda. Plus it's not like Clinton and Bush didn't both push us to nationalising our banks which is much more Socialist than anything.
