any opinion on how the NFL will treat Michael Vick. Will he be out of a job like Barry Bonds and Pete Rose?

The NFL seems a lot more...liberal...with their players then the other leagues. Leonard Little, who killed a woman when driving under the influence, got his job back later on.
The main issue with Vick is whether or not teams will be intimidated by PETA. You know very well that they will be picketing practices, games, and that's just bad publicity for any club. --------------------  -----Courtesy of JKPIGSKIN------- |

we will see now that the Eagles have signed him to a one year deal with the option for the second year.

Think it's about time to re-open this topic. Now that Vick has been back for a while, it's still hard what impact he is making on/off the field. On the field, he has been below average as the Eagles are pretty set with McNabb and Kevin Kolb even had success in the starting role. Vick has lost a step too, however, he isn't in a great situation.

I think he's being treated pretty fair...I have to agree with Philliez that Vick is going to another team after this season.
