I think that with the return of Cito Gaston it will have a positive impact on the Blue Jays the rest of the season....don't get me wrong John Gibbons did a good job...it was sad to see the Jays let Ernie Whitt go after 31 yrs with the organization too.......

a positive impact it has had for sure Jays are 24-18 since Cito came back and he will return as Manager for 2009. The player really respect him and they have showed that with their play of late.....

it's been almost a year since I posted about the return of Cito Gaston to the Toronto Blue Jays. The results are apparent as to where the Jays are in the standings. They have only lost 2 series so far - 1 to Kansas City and the other to New York. They are playing with a patch work pitching staff that has been hit by injuries. Roy Halladay has carried the staff and gave the younger pitchers on the team a great deal of confidence......Alex Rios hasn't been hitting so Gaston sat him down with hitting coach Gene Tenace and you can see changes already as his average is slowly climbing and the home runs are happening....
