I thought of another interesting concept/idea. We could have a short with old classic "If you said A/B/C/D, you're correct!" kind of joke.
This is just an example:
Sonic and Knuckles are having some friendly banter one day on the Floating Island.
S: So Knuckles, how is it that you're so freakin strong with suck twig-like and lanky arms?
K: Well, being the guardian of the Master Emerald, I've been granted special powers by it like the ability to glide and super strength.
S: Oh. I guess that makes sense.
K: Which now begs the question, how are you able to run so fast with such scrawny, chicken legs? (There could be a quick cut-away to Scratch going "Humph!" in Robotniks Lair).
S: Well...
Narrator: If you said
A. I've absorbed a lot of ring energy which does something similar to what the Master Emerald does for you.
B. All I eat is Chili dogs, so my legs got used to running to the nearest bathroom.
C. I DO A LOT OF CRACK/SPEED!! (Dur hur)
or D. *Something completely random but actually funny*
This is merely just an example so this doesn't have to become a short if it's not that good. I'm just trying to lay down the foundation of a new medium-of-sorts with which to get a joke by. Heck, if someone REALLY wanted to take it a step further, they could make each choice a button leading to alternative endings. But the way I envision this working would be to play up to the choices, cut away from it (like a commercial break except to play more shorts), then come back to it later in the collection.
