She'd been in the Healling Ward for a day and a half now. Shalia was sitting in a comforotable chair next to Malic who was resting peacfully. She'd bee n doing her work here. Friends bringing it to her. She knew she couldn't stay here forever but at least untill she was forbidden to do so or untill Malic was healed, which ever came first, she would.

She picked up a book she'd been reading. It was a memoir. Hillarious it was, though there was seriousness to it as well. She had begun to read aloud, in a whisper so that she wasn't disturbing, but still. It coforted her more than it did him. She'd come to a particular passige where the author was helping his infant brother color the walls with Crayola's.

She heard what sounded to be a muffled chuckle. She creased the page corner and closed the book. "How are you. Are you to warm? I had them give you an extra blanket so you didn't freeze. I swear this place has the worst draft ever.", she said as she set the book down.

The nurse noticing he was awake come over with water and gave it to Shalia. No, it wasn't for her. It was for Malachi. His fatal inccident was still buzzing around school like a rumour even though everyone saw it with their own eyes. "Here. Drink this.", she said handing him the glass of water.

His friends had visited when he;d first arrived to the Healing Ward. Her's visited everyday to tell her the news, or gossip rather. She was informed as ever about everything happening and of course she was recieving her homework and finishing it promptly. She knew it was going to hell when she returned to reality. She'd either be gawked at as if she were mentally insane and deformed in a horrific stare-worthy manner. Or, she'd be bombarded with questions that when left unaswered would cause a chain of more rumors.

She was probably egsagerating but that wasn't what concerened her currently. She was worried about Malic. She had so many questions. Questions she was afraid to ask in fear of upsetting him. She loved him, he knew her best and yet he'd managed to confuse, scare and shock her all in one night. What an a amazing guy. Suprising at the least.

Come on baby... Don't fear the Reaper. Seasons don't fear the reaper. Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain; We can be like they are. The door was open and the wind appeared. The candles blew and then disappeared. The curtains flew then he appeared saying "Don't be afraid.". She took his hand, the Reaper took their lives together. Now they're together in eternety.
