Storage
If one were to go down the old wooden steps to the basement and turn left at the bottom, they would find the storage room. This room has fallen into disorganization without Giles around, and contains unused practice weapons, some study aids(models and such), old furniture, and some magical items such as focus crystals and other spell supplies. There are also items down here that students are not meant to find. Some of them are dangerous for incapable students, others are dark and meant to be kept away from both student and teacher. These darker items are kept safely away somewhere in the back of the room.

Boiler Room
The school's hot water has to come from somewhere, right? This room is lit by an eerie red light, and it always extremely hot. It has several hot water tanks within, which carry the hot water supply for the whole school. This is also where the school's heat comes from.

Professor Derric's Room
This was a storage area before Vance's sarcophagus was discovered. Now, the vampire-turned-professor lives here. This room is unaffected by the heat of the rest of the school, and the windows are broken in places(duct-taped shut) so it is often cold in the winter. Not that anyone would mind. Vance doesn't seem to, and it is a rare occasion indeed that anyone comes down here to see him. The room is smallish, only about 10' by 10' square, and ill-furnished. The only furniture is a full-size mattress and boxspring in one corner, covered by a blanket. There is also an old armchair(taken from the larger storage room down the hall), and a shelf which currently holds only a pair of science fiction novels, a CD player(taken from somewhere upstairs), and a couple CDs. Occasionally, the music from this CD player(normally death metal) can be heard up above in the kitchens.

Locked Room
This room lies across from Professor Derric's room, and always remains locked. The door is made of iron, and seems to have some sort of protection spell on it in addition to its natural strength. Students are prohibited from trying to enter the room beyond this door, and it seems that not even the teachers know what lies beyond it.
