Agh, this is getting frustrating.
Okay, so I took this week to get my new site all set up and running, and now I've got to go away again.
My mom came home tonight and got on the computer immediately. She spent a few hours on there, and though I was curious about what she was doing, I didn't ask because she kept swearing at the screen and I figured it was best if I didn't bug her. So I went back to designing my new website-to-be.
Midnight, about two hours ago, she gets off and says(basically), "Okay, I'm going to bed. You've got to get up at 5:00 tomorrow and get packed."
So naturally, I'm thinking "...Huh?" See, I know I'm going away on Sunday(and I was actually going to announce that when she was done) but then she goes, "I've got the trip to Virginia Beach all planned out. We're leaving tomorrow at 6:00 and we'll be coming back on Friday."
So naturally, I panicked. After I asked a few questions, mom realized that she didn't have a car rented, and got back on the net to do that(generally, it's pretty easy to get that set up, but my mom is technologically challenged). She just got off, and I ran on before she could shut down to check up on stuff and tell you guys that I'll be heading off to Virginia Beach until Friday.
Seriously, I didn't think we were going until August.
So anyway, I might have internet at the hotel we go to(it's beachside, so it must be big and probably has internet service) but since my notebook comp isn't being cooperative, I might not be able to get on, or only get on for a few minutes at a time. I'll check back if and when I can though, I promise, and if I'm not completely exhausted when we get home, I'll try to get on and post.
As mentioned earlier, I'll be leaving again on Sunday; not for three days this time, but for a week. Seven whole days. This time, there will be no chance whatsoever of me getting internet service. None.
See, I'm going on a ship with the Ocean Classroom. It's a schooner, and we're not even allowed to have Walkmans, much less computers. I go on this trip every year, and I've been planning it since early November. I was going to tell you guys tonight anyway, but it became my second announcement now that mother dearest has informed me we're going away sooner than I thought.
So, I guess now it's time for me to finish checking up here(no time to post, sorry...), then head off to sleep for 2-3 hours before we're driving down to Virginia from upstate New York. Loads of fun. Until Friday! ... Or next Sunday... x-x
