Kurayamiblack's "Fire Emblem: Warriors of Arenta" game idea is going through another revision. This time the presentation of each chapter is going to be taken more seriously so that the reader can find enjoyment in each individual chapter rather than needing to read a bunch of them. Also, it's being edited to add more military and governmental structure to it so that the game feels more like a real war with fantasy elements than a senseless world war leading up to a decent ending.

Have a great day Shining Nova! And remember to please report any issues with the site to Kurayamiblack (since the moderators are pretty much just titles now)

Who has got it/played it? I'm up to lvl 35 on my berserker and we beat the first play through this past Friday. (my friend plays a hunter that I was power lvling for him, went from lvl 17 to lvl 32 in 6 hours I think.)

Either way we are going to start the second play through when I get my new power supply in the mail. Plus work on some of the achievements.

On a side note, we are waiting for a friend to pick up the game so we can have a lan party with 4 player co-op. woot! I can finally play the Soldier as a Medic (medics aren't very useful in solo)

Anyway I'm giving the game a 9.5/10. With over 17 million weapons, fun dialouge among characters the only drawback I can see is the cheesy one-liners that the main characters say. And that the ending pissed me off >.> but i'm not going to spoil that......lol

Oh and another thing. There wasn't much for the cusomizable vehicles. Basicly you had 6 colors to pick from, then each of those had a rocket launcher or a machine gun.

Feel kinda let down b/c of that.

Also, the missions seemed like "this guy did this, kill him for me" which is all well and good, but i think it could have used some more work....

I got Borderlands today, I'm waiting for my friend to get home so we can play Online Co-Op with the just the two of us. Can you tell me enough about the Berserker, to not spoil the game for me?

Like, what all can he do, and such? And can all characters wield all weapons? o-o

Edit: also, how different is the online co-op from the single player? And can I use Single Player characters for the Online co-op? o-o

Edit 2: Also, if the armor of a character is changed, do their physical appearance change, too?

Edit 3: I guess you can talk more about "Character customization" more than the above question. o-o

lol

kay:
1) The berserker is the best solo class in the game imo. (I've watched my friend play his Hunter on solo and it was a snoozefest) THe Berserker has 3 abilites branching off his action skill (which is the beserk skill oddly enough <.< lol): Brawler, Tank, and Blaster.

The brawler tree focuses on his action skill the most. It increases the duration of the beserk, melee damage, and can decrease the cooldown. I think the standard coold down is around 100 seconds.

the tank tree gives you increases to your health and shields. The main benifit from this tree is the Diehard skill. When your heath depletes you go into a fight for your life mode where you try to kill an enemy to get a second wind and keep fighting. Maxed out in Diehard gives you half health and full shield when you get a second wind.

The blaster tree I haven't touched on much b/c I don't like how the rockets are in the game. However the reload time reduction skill as well as the kill shot (you do more dmg each time you kill a baddy) is helpful.

2) There is a significant difference when we played split-screen. Some of the monsters I could 1 shot took 3-4. More "uniques" pop up as far as baddies go.

3) There really isn't too much too the custimization sadly. You can change the name, and 3 colors on the character. The armor doesn't change anying visuals in-game as far as I can see. Some armor do set off a AOE wave when depleted.

Hope that helped.

It did. Thanks! =D... Now if only my lazy ass friend would get Online, I'd be having fun with the game, instead of sitting here looking at it. DX
