According to my parents, there's going to be some sort of power outage in my area. To prevent data loss on computers and data storing devicees, it's suggested that we all disconnect our power cords from the walls OR make sure our devices are not actually on during the time of the power outage which is supposedly scheduled to begin at 8:00am and end at I guess 5:00pm.

I'm not 100% sure if this information is accurate so if you live near me, shut down your comps and unplug your laptops before 8:00am. If the power in your home is still active at 9:00am (just to be safe), then I guess you can go ahead and hook your stuff back up. If your power is out at or after the times I listed then I guess I may have just saved your computer (assuming you read this in time which I doubt Megaman Zero did, so if his computer gets fried, I can now officially say "That's what you get for leaving SN"

)

I have no idea if this information applies only to my block or the whole city or whatever, so yeah, I just thought my friends should be aware just in case the area affected is larger than just my block.

Well, that was a load of fail. I got a little more info and I think it is just my block. Some workers are supposed to be doing something to the power lines on my block... But they never showed up

Apparently, since the wind picked up last night it hasn't let up since and it's just too damn windy to be going up there and messing with the power cables, so they never came. They might be back soon though.
