The rain poured down in heavy torrents, practicly drowning the forest roots. The nightsky overhead was pitch black and even the light of the moon was choked off by the clouds. Lightning flashed and temporarily illuminated the forest in a ghostly light. Long after the light was gone it's slower companion, thunder, let out its ominous roar.
Large, clumsy dingo paws ran swiftly over the muddy forest floor. They sloshed in puddles, spraying the dog with mud and making his red fur seem black. The dingo was running at full speed, his brown eyes wide with fear and musscles rippling beneathe his thick pelt. Blood poured openly from a wound somewhere on his head, he knew not exactly where. Pain pounded at his temples, threatening to overwhelm him and knock him out, but desperation kept him awake. He couldn't stop running, he had to keep going or he'd die. He forgot what he was running from, he no longer cared. His breathing was short and heavy to the point of hyperventalation. His paws were numb with the cold, yet still they pounded against the ground, cutting themselves open on sharp rocks and broken sticks, his blood twining together with the mud and rainwater. His heart felt like it would explode if he kept this up! Suddenly he smacked against something in his path and stumbled backwards. It was a fallen log, covered with moss. The dingo knew he had to keep going, but his adrenalin was suddenly drained and he felt weaker than he had been in his entire life. Gasping, he stumbled forward, his body aching and his lungs crying for relief. The dingo started running again, but it was a clumsy run and his huge paws got tangled up until he fell over himself. Struggling for breath, the dingo felt the pain in his head return fullblast. He couldn't fight it any more. Darkness swam in his mind and he was out cold. The dingo body slowly morphed and a man in tattered clothes lay in its place. Blood matted his hair and dripped slowly into the wet dirt. The darkness of the night closed over him and the thunder let out a mighty roar. |

The girls feet left perfect footprints in the waterlogged siol. Her hair fell around her like a sort of wet halo, forming a moisture hardened helmet around her head. Her eyes, dark brown, searched foreward. She was wearing little, but she seemed to feel no cold as the rain collected on her skin, dripping gracefully from her eyelashes to splatters upon the ground. Breathing out lowely, the brown haired girl liftened her head, letting the rain splatters across her face.
Then her head snapped down. Her eyes narrowed, fixing on the sudden sound of a crash, a small yelp. More sounds. Moving foreward carefully, she condsidered changing, but decided against it. Her animal form may be more intimidating, but it was not allways as usefull as her human form. Crouching foreward, her brown eyes met that of a tattered, wet, and woebegone man. Straightening, Amy frowned at him. Mouth forming a thin line of disaproval. So this was what was ruining all the niose. Snorting slightly, she walked foreward carefully, feet leaving slight footprints in the muddy siol. Crouching over the man, she studyed his face, then grinning, brought her hand back. "Wake up sunshine." she muttered, before giving him a strict smack across the cheak. |

OoC: Nice post!
IC: The man flinched and a low groan came from his mouth. For a split second he knew not where he was and unexplainable fear jolted through him as he shoved himself away from whatever it was that had struck him. His eyes snapped open, eerie eyes clouded white, eyes that were full of fear even if they could not see what lay before them. His head spun around as if he were looking for something. His temples throbbed painfully and he had the disturbing impression that someone was trying to drill a nail into them. He felt hot liquid dripping down his spine along with the rain and mud. "W-what?" he spoke at last, his voice raspy with exaustion. "Where am I? Who are you?" |

OOC: i could say the same for yours!
Amy snickered at his stupidity, before quikly stopping when she relized he was blind. Closing her mouth and blinking her gentle features she moved back, circling him slightly, and taking her sweet time responding. She looked like a panther circling her pray, eyes fixed on him, no mercy in her features. She made two full cricles, no doubt paralizing the man with fear of the silent creature around him, before stopping right in front of him. She made a clicking niose on the back of her throat, her face radiating grim amusment at the whole ordeal. Crossing her arms saucily over her chest she tossed her head over her shoulder, before smirking at him some more. "My name is Amy." she said, in her clear commanding vioce. "And you are in Village territory. Tell me, are you a shifter?" she asking, raising one eyebrow. |

The man had a strange vision of a cat playing with its prey before delivering the final blow. His heart was racing and when she finnally spoke he jumped instinctively. Her answer startled him, and her question even more so. He had never heard of any village around these parts, or if he had he couldn't remember. He saw no point in lying to her--his pawprints were probably all over the place. Besides, if what the old man had said about this forest was true, she may be a shapeshifter herself--something he didn't find the least bit comforting.
"Yes, I'm a shifter," he said, somehow managing to get his voice under control. His breathing was still heavy and he desperately tried to calm down. Fear was the last thing he needed. Bracing his aching body, he propped himself up on his elbows. Pain seared through the back of his head like a red hot poker and he collapsed, letting out an anguished cry. His hands, torn and bleeding from his run, went to the wound on the back of his head where blood still flowed freely. |

OOC- Ah sorry that took me so long, Black out, Sleep over, Ect
Amy watched him instinctivly, eyes taking in every detail of his face. The white film over his eyes, the distinct widening of his nostrils, a sign of fear. The stubtle on his chin. She could only imagine the turmiol circling around the poor man's head. Somehow, the thought made her snicker. She could have complete and utter control of this creature. To him, she could be huge, she could be beutiful, ugly, whatever she wanted him to see her as, she could make it that way. And she was going to force him to see power. "Scalp wounds." she said, sounding both slightly disgusted and slightly amused. "You'll die of blood loss if we don't get that clogged up." considering this for a moment, she hesitated, then stepped foreward, holding his head straight while she looked at the wound. The crimson gore made her stomach churn uncomfortably, but she showed no sign of weakness as she drew away, body tensing in the rain. "We need to get you somewhere safe." she said at last, already trying to bring forth the feirce and sudden emotion that would force her to transform. |

OoC: lol! It's ok, I forget to post on some of my sites for weeks...I have too many... Or sometimes I get writer's stop, like I have right now. I have no clue what to post so I'm just gonna wing it and if it sucks I’m sorry.
IC: The man nodded, his teeth clenched together so hard he nearly chipped a tooth. He didn't trust Amy one bit, but he didn't have a choice. He was shivering from the cold and the loss of blood wasn't helping. But he didn't expect her to carry him, nor would he let her if she offered. Rolling over, he braced his arms and pulled himself onto his knees. The pain flooded back into his head, slightly less than before but just as unbearable. His bleeding fists clenched as the pain throbbed fiercely in his head. It threatened to overwhelm him again, but his nails started to dig into his flesh as his fists clenched harder and the pain kept him awake. Slowly the pain subsided and he gasped, taking in as much air as he could. Sweat dripped from his brow—or was it blood? He couldn’t be sure, but he was almost positive that he had never felt so weak in his entire life. It was painful not only to his body but to whatever pride he had left—oh wait, he didn’t have any pride left. That decided, he stood up, bracing himself for another wave of pain, but it didn’t come. He reached out blindly with one hand and it touched the trunk of a tree. Leaning against it for support, he called out to his unseen watcher. “Where to?” |

Amy was already a cat. Her long tan tial flickered behind her as she stood in her couger form. Her claws tensing against the dirt, only to find the slick mud unsatisfying. Twitching her whiskers in an annoyed sort of state she looked over at Tain. Already the wild feeling of her feline form was beginning to take hold. She wanted to run, she wanted to hunt.
-Do you have enough energy to transform?- she asked, her vioce still a growl even in his mind. If he was a large animal, it would be easier for him to travel. If he was small, she could simply carry him on her back, or in her mouth. Oh, wouldnt that be disgusting. More for him then her. Amy's black lips drew back in a slightly twitch of amusment. -Well?- she asked, rounding on him, thinking he should be gratefull to be blind as the huge mountian lion advanced on his woe begone body. |

Tain couldn't explain it, but he felt uncomfortable transforming. When he transformed people tried to kill him, calling him diseased and an affliction upon mankind. Relax, he told himself angrily, pushing all his doubts to the back of his mind.
It wasn't hard for him to transform, desperation already filled his mind. Soon a dingo with bright red fur and giant paws stood upon the ground. His pelt was still matted with mud and blood. His eyesight was improved in this form and he found himself staring wide-eyed at a huge cat that could easily rip his limbs off. -Thanks for helping me,- he said telepathicly. His speach in this form was choppy at best, as he didn't use it much, but his words were sincere. He began limping forward, his ears pricked to the sounds of the forest and the rain that still fell from the sky. |

Amy had been wondering what animal this strange man was, and she found the dingo transformation suprising, but rather fitting. She shathed and unsheathed her claws upon the wet ground, flicking her tail from side to side in agitation.
She had planned a nice, lonely, walk in the rain. Damn dingos. -I'm not helping you,- she thought darkly, brown eyes flashing. It was difficult for Amy to keep her pace slow as she walked through the forest. It was hard not ot break free, to run, to let the water splash upon her darkened soft fur as her paws slapped into puddles. As he face rose, to great the rain. She grit her teath. Cripples were such a hindrance. OOC - would you like to make a post at the Village? |

Honey colored eyes observed the pair cooly from her perched above, so Amy had found a crippled in the forest. How Sweet she snickered quietly to herself, the idea of anyone helping the man at all hilarious. Ears pricked forward as she studied their movements. They were probally getting ready to leave.
Part of Jovlyn didnt care, a blind man couldnt compete with her. So he was none of her worries. And by the looks of it, for a man so old he could barely shift!!! A laugh, which escaped her feline lips as a gurgled screech, bounced from deep with her stomach. But the other part, perhapes the insecure. Wanted to know. She had to know just what this man was capable of. If he would threaten her status, or if he would make a valuable allie. She just couldnt label him as a useless crippled. Grunting, Jovlyn fell from the tree in a kind of step, landing in the mud with a un-intention slip. Haunches convered in mud she wandered over to Amy and Tain, -So what have you found?- she asked openly, hawk like gaze concentrated on the dingo. |

((Tain isn't old, he's just blind and injured. Take a look at his pic.))
Tain turned his sad dog-like eyes upon the cat, his ears pricking and his animal instincts threatening to take over. He didn't stand a chance of killing this thing while he was in this condition, but he could bark at it, chase it, laugh at it... Tain shook his head angrily, shoving back such thoughts. He knew his awkward steps were annoying Amy and he tried to quicken his pace while looking at the cat behind him, knowing it would probably follow. -Hi,- he said to her. -Erm, sorry for my intrusion. I...I can't really even remember what I was doing...- His eyes were troubled as he walked on. |
