1) Rules of Shapeshifters
a ) Each shapeshifter may only be able to turn into one animal
b ) That animal must be a real animal, not magical or nonexistant one. It cannot have superpowers. "Superdog" will be shunned by its peers. So will Mr. Purple Lion. They just might tie his undies to a flag pole.
c ) You must have a picture of your character, and the animal your character transforms into. Sometimes pictures are hard to find, but work with us people.
d ) Transformations happen both at will, and by mistake. Most experienced shapeshifters can control thier transformations, but many can be triggered by strong emotions, such as lust, anger, or fatigue.
e ) All shapeshifters have the powers of telepathy while in their form. They can talk to other shapeshifters through their minds. This should be in -'s. Once a shapeshifter learns enough control, they can learn to speak out loud in their form. Please ask an admin when you think your character is ready for this skill. Once aquired, your character can speak out loud to anyone and everyone, in English. This is unpractical, but it makes things easier for us. Which is what's REALLY important.
f) Only one of each animal may exist on the site. For example if there is already a lion, there can be no other lion shapeshifters. Unless the new shapeshifter is the child of the original animal, then they can inherit their shape or recieve their own.
g) the disease is transfered from parents the child, through sex, breast feeding, and blood transfer. Much like the disease AIDS

2) General Rules
a ) There is no limit on the number of characters, just keep them active.
b ) Swearing is allowed.
c ) If you read this, put this code in your bio: Hajari is my Shining Star.
d ) No ghosts or magic. Ghosts suck.
e ) No graphic mating. It makes me gag.
f ) Make sure you read A Good Bio, under Who We Are. Or else I will sob.
g ) You MUST name ALL of your characters at least once in your signature.
h ) Keep it realistic. I don't want someone to live after having their kidneys removed. That makes me angry, then my eyes get all squinty. No one wants that.

3) Grammar Rules
a ) You must specify IC or OOC unless in a completely OOC forum.
b ) Posts must be at least one paragraph long. One liners make my eye twitch.
c ) Dialogue must be in quotation marks at all times.
d ) Make sure when you join, you capatalize your name. We can't change it, despite how wonderful we are. Our wonderment simply can't change it.

4) Godmoding Rules
a ) I'm going to show you this sites views on godmoding/powerplaying through an example, so sit tight.


WRONG WAY: The girl felt her feiry temper begin to sizzle. Before the boy before her could even transform she felt the anger force her into her opposite form without a chioce. Feiry orange and black fur ripped from her body as she sprang forth with her newly formed claws unsheathed. She felt them dig into the flesh of her enemy. Heard him scream as he felt backwards and she dug her fangs into his neck, kill him.

Now that is BAD BAD BAD. Not only did the RPer have her character make contact with the opposite character without that characters consent, but she also made the other character scream. This is WRONG WRONG WRONG.

RIGHT WAY: The girl felt her feiry temper begin to sizzle. Before the boy before her could even transform she felt the anger force her into her opposite form without a chioce. Feiry orange and black fur ripped from her body as she sprang forth with her newly formed claws unsheathed. Leaping foreward, paws directed perfectly at the young boys neck. If her aim was true she would land on his chest, giving room for her fangs to flash down into his throat.

This way the opposite character has control over what happens to their character. But make sure your fair about it. A mouse cannot with a fight over a lion. Miss sometimes too. Nobody's perfect. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or the other admins with them!

5) The Council

The council is basically the Villager's goverment. They live about ove the Council house and rule from the Great Room.

Usually the members of the council are elders of the village. They are experienced and have complete control over their transformations. To loose your temper and transform during a meeting is the highest disgrace. Even though it is usually elders that make the council, the qualifiying age is 20 & Over.

There is a meeting held once every month, although this won't always be RPed out. At other times the Council can come together to discuss important matters.

It is the law that there is at least one Council member always present in the Great Room.
