Crawford Farm: The primary amount of the country side in which the cats live in belongs to Gregor Crawford, who is around forty-seven, Anne Crawford, Gregor's wife, and his twenty-three year old son, Jacob Crawford. Jacob moved in with his father to help uphold the sixty acres of land, but has been dating with Sarah Zimmerman the past year and plans to move into an apartment soon, thus having less time to help his father maintain the land. He's tried to convince Sarah's parents to allow her to live with him in the farm house, but her father will have no such thing. This will leave the aging Gregor to maintain his farm by himself much of the time. Greg fears that he will not be able to pay off the debt and will have to hand it over to the government, who would like nothing more than to plant a mall smack dab in the middle. In fact, the city has been expanding at a fast pace, and with the bills increasing by the year it's taken a lot to keep the the land as their own.
